15 km from Bergerac in the Dordogne Valley, the "Lamarmette com" gîte is a renovated 17th-century farmhouse.
This 4-star accommodation is located in the center of a 10-hectare property of meadows and woods. In a very quiet and secluded location, comfort and authenticity are guaranteed during your stay. Weekly rate: €1,000 excluding July and August, €2,000 for July and August with "Lamarmette com" (with a two-week discount).

The Lamarmette gîte's location provides easy access to the Bergerac region and the Vézère and Dordogne Valleys, towards Sarlat.

The holiday home is the only dwelling on the property, which accommodates a few horses.

Swimming pool for the exclusive use of the rental property. Pool dimensions: 5 m x 11 m. Depth: 1.60 m. Access via stairs. Unheated, chlorine treatment. Under a removable cover, uncovered during the summer months of July and August.

150 m² house, two bedrooms (king-size beds 180 x 200 cm, firm, new bedding) with bathroom/toilet, equipped kitchen, dining room, large TV lounge, large furnished veranda, shelter with barbecue, fenced garden. For your comfort, the rental capacity is limited to 2 people.

Free unlimited Wi-Fi / Smart TV

Bed linens, duvets, and towels for the bathroom and pool are provided and included in the rental price.
Household products (cleaning, dishes, and linens) are provided.

Electric vehicle charging station, type 2 7 kWh Tesla socket (consumption payment €0.25/kWh)

€300 security deposit upon arrival, returned upon departure.

Perfect place to stay

Lovely house in an idyllic setting. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your gorgeous farm. We had a wonderful time making many happy memories. The highlight with the children was the pool.

Fantastic location

Great place to stay, very rural with lots of walks. Friendly cat that appears so beware if you take a dog!! The host Jean Marie very kind and welcoming would definitely go again.

Tranquil holiday

The house is set up a lane and has perfect location for a chilled holiday, the pool was perfect for cooling off on a hot day and the games in the pergola kept us all amused, Mr marty was a gracious host and we left with heavy hearts

A piece of paradise!

A beautiful house, smartly and comfortably furnished and wonderfully private! Mr Marty was helpful and friendly - thank you! The pool was an added bonus, which we used even when the weather wasn't great. The woodburner was perfect for Autumnal evenings! We loved our visits from the friendly cat :) Could not recommend more highly!

Beautiful house in a secluded area.

Our stay was for 2 weeks, but unfortunately we had to leave after a week, due to illness, having said that, our stay was lovely. The house is in the most beautiful part of countryside, very peaceful and quiet, never slept so well. All mod cons in fact more than you need, very clean and very French with lovely touches. I would say it is better for adults than small children as the pool was away from the house, so an adult is always needed. It was ok for us as we had a teenager with us, so no problem. Jean-Marie was a great host and helped us to get to the airport for our journey home. I would certainly go back and thoroughly recommend this property.

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed our stay. All the amenities we could have wanted were there, the house was very well equipped. There were lots of handy things provided (toilet roll, washing up liquid, coffee pods for the machine and hand soap) and having towels and sheets provided made everything easy. The pool was lovely and the house is surrounded by gorgeous herbs, plants and fig trees. Very relaxing stay, we would love to come back!

Superbes vacances dépaysantes

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans une belle maison au milieu de la nature et entourée de chevaux, sans oublier la grande et belle piscine entretenue à la perfection. Au centre du Périgord, une très belle maison, en pleine campagne dans un environnement au silence bienvenu pour nous citadins.... Sa piscine, son agencement, sa propreté et ses équipements sont l'assurance d'un merveilleux séjour. Le propriétaire fait rimer parfaite discrétion avec accueil et disponibilité. Un petit conseil: adoptez le restaurant du village de Lanquais, menu midi 15€ rapport qualité prix imbattable sur la grande terrasse extérieure ombragée. Gîte La Marmette une perle rare pour un séjour au top.

maison parfaite pour un séjour estival reposant

Nous avons séjourné gîte de La Marmette avec nos deux enfants et avons passé un semaine de vacances détendues et ressourçantes. La maison authentique était vraiment belle, très spacieuse ,confortable et nous avons passé beaucoup de notre temps dans le jardin ombragé. La grande piscine était parfaite et chaude et il y avait tellement de différents endroits pour se reposer et profiter de la campagne environnante. La véranda était notre endroit favori le matin et le soir pour passer de bons moments en famille et prendre les repas. Nous avons apprécié la visite des sites de la vallée de la Dordogne, mais nous n’avons pas fait autant de visites que prévu, car il était difficile de quitter La Marmette! Merci au propriétaire pour son accueil chaleureux et ses bons conseils.

Magnifique

Peaceful hideaway

We fell in love with the Gite the moment we walked in. It’s the perfect farmhouse, relaxing and airy, with a lovely huge conservatory on the back With dining set and comfy seating. Overlooking fields of horses and woodland with deer this little oasis is the perfect chill out zone. Add to this a good sized pool and fig trees aplenty, we were very happy. Jean-Marie was a gracious and helpful host and we would definitely be very happy to revisited his beautiful home.

gîte La Marmette à réserver sans modération...

Si vous avez besoin de vous ressourcer et de quiétude totale, réservez le gîte La Marmette! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, beaucoup trop court à notre goût mais nous étions juste de passage dans cette belle région. Nous avons cependant pu profiter du confort de la maison, de la superbe piscine et du jardin fleuri . Encore merci pour tout.

un superbe endroit pour séjourner

C'était un excellent endroit pour séjourner et une très belle expérience rurale. C'est une grande propriété extrêmement silencieuse. Elle est à environ 20 minutes en voiture de Bergerac et à seulement 5 minutes des villages voisins. Il y a aussi un joli lac au village de Lanquais tout proche pour se promener et quelques bons endroits pour courir dans les bois. La piscine est également excellente. Si vous avez besoin d’une piscine fermée pour les enfants, c’est parfait et complètement clôturé de sorte que les petites mains ne peuvent pas ouvrir la porte. Il y a aussi des chevaux à côté de la maison, qui sont très sympathiques et nous les nourrissions tous les jours. C'est juste un super endroit où séjourner et je le recommande tout à fait. Francis D.

Prachtige plek, veel rust. Fijne woning met voldoende ruimte en veel voorzieningen. De keuken is wat verouderd. Bevat wel veel voorzieningen. Audioinstallatie verouderd. Fijn om te verblijven!

First time to France

Met by Marty,such a friendly welcome, the house grounds and pool were outstanding, our first time to Bergerac and France, we will be going back to france next year. All the amenities you need beautifully built, kitchen well equipped with two barbecues outside gas or charcoal. The grounds are so tranquil relaxing, the pool an extra bonus, however is a little awkward for younger children as it slopes from side to side and a little slippy. But overall very happy, Marty is very helpful and if anything goes wrong is quick to sort out. We will be back one day again, also the horses are very friendly my boy and girl both fell in love with them feeding them daily the fruits off the trees, which there is lots of, a large apricot tree fig trees damsen or plum apple trees. Definately 5star accommodation. Thank you so much for helping us fall in love with Bergerac.
