The unit and overall complex were very nicely appointed and well maintained. Cleanliness was a real plus. The unit provided plenty of space and is smartly configured. Amanda checked on us midway through our stay and on check out day. Very nice experience overall.

The condo was amazing. The host was good at communication. Beautiful beach view from the balcony and great balcony seating. Comfortable sofa for lounging and bed a pillows for sleeping were great also. Beach service was a plus. I would stay here again when visiting the area. It would probably be during a different week because the weather wasn't the greatest during our visit. But, you never know what you are going to get when in Florida.

Great Spot

This is a great condo in an excellent location. Beach and property were pristine with plenty of pools on the property and nearby restaurants/shops to keep my family (with an 11 and 13 yr old) busy and entertained. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time on our family vacation! We love to visit Ft. Walton and this was the first time we stayed at the Destin West. We were very pleased with the room and the staff at the building! Great stay!

Condo was just like the pictures. Comfy furniture, clean and well stocked kitchen. Great view of the beach and pool. The property had everything you need. Plenty of pools and we enjoyed the lazy river by the bay. Overall we loved it and will be back.

Perfect family spot!

This property was exactly as described - worked perfectly for a family of 4. Steps from the beach with private property board walk and great view from our balcony. We also enjoyed the spacious pool near our unit as well as the lazy river across the street at the bayside sister property. Chairs were easy to get on the beach and 2 are included with rental. Many restaurants nearby - full kitchen if you want to cook! The washer and dryer in room were great - really helped with all the beach clothes. Overall great stay with great hosts - clean and all needs were met!

This is a wonderful place for us to stay during spring break with two teenagers and myself. The condo itself is wonderfully appointed, with everything you might need or want. Pots and pans, baking sheets, measuring cups, etc. Immaculately clean with very nice touch. Touches such as sparkling grape juice upon our arrival. Wonderful towels, which sounds like a funny thing to say, but if you’ve stayed in enough rentals, you know that that is important. Everything in perfect working order. The washer and dryer were especially helpful. The view from this property is probably one of the best you get to face the sunset and you have a view of the gulf. You’re also overlooking the Gulf side pool. If you were meeting people at the beach or pool, you are able to just go out on the balcony. The lazy river, the pools and the accessibility to the Boardwalk restaurants and the pier were perfect for our group. This rentals management was extremely responsive and when they didn’t hear from me on check-in, they messaged me to make sure everything was good. I told them I appreciated all the thoughtful touches in this property. We will definitely stay here again!

Really nice condo. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We had great stay there and looking to be back soon. Its perfect for family with small children since its so close to everything - beach, many pools, dining, grocery. Aquarium is less tan 10 min walk which my kid loved... We didnt want to leave from this resort on our last day of stay.

This condo (#605) was purchased November 2016. I own three condos in the Destin West Gulfside Resort. My other units are #603 and #411. I did a full renovation of the condo after purchasing. I have transformed this condo into an extremely nice beach vacation rental. I encourage you to rent with me and welcome you into my condo. I find the location to be superb and the view is spectacular.

The Destin West Beach and Bay Resort is a premiere choice. Being on Okaloosa Island, it is a much better location than the nearby Destin area. You get access to the same beach and amenities of the surrounding area, but without the huge crowds on the streets and on the beach. This location puts you between the cities of Destin and Ft Walton Beach. You have access to all the same activities, restaurants, and beaches. I find the location to be superb and the view is spectacular from this condo.
