The resort requires gel bands be worn by all guests to access the pools and beach. All bands must be returned at end of stay. $50 fee per missing band

Close to the beach. Places to eat were close by. Beach chairs and umbrella were included in the rental. We would rent it again.

Amazing Trip!

This was our first time to Destin/Fort Walton area and we had a great time! Accommodations were wonderful ! The condo was clean and we had the best view for the Wednesday night fireworks! We did have a couple days with storms and not so clear water but overall we had a great time. We will definitely be back!

PERFECTION!

Headed home after a glorious 8 night stay at this condo. It provided all of the comforts of home with a spectacular view of the Gulf. The host even made a point to check in with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Great for family vacation!

We loved our time here. The condo was perfect with a great view and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the many options for swimming including the lazy river. We were able to walk to many places nearby.

Perfect vacation stay!

Our stay in #603 was amazing! The view from our room was beautiful. The location was perfect. Super close to the oceanfront and pool. The condo was modern, clean, and well-stocked. My kids loved every minute. Communication from the host was seamless. Highly recommend!

Great stay for family of 5

Clean, well-stocked condo with a fabulous view. We were comfortable here and had a nice time in the area.The location is super convenient to shopping, activities and restaurants. The hotel pools were clean and well maintained, which we love. The beach was clean and the free chairs and umbrella were awesome. One thing I will mention, (and it's not a huge deal but it kind of snuck up on us...lol) make sure when you pick up supplies to get a couple rolls of toilet paper and also paper towels. I know it does state to do so in the check in info. I understand your fear that people might take home your extra rolls if you supply them but, I personally would have appreciated an extra roll of tp instead of the welcome soda. Those sodas must cost more than toilet paper. That being said, my husband definitely drank them! Overall, we had a great time and recommend this property.

Thanksginving beach vacation

We booked Destin West Gulfside 603 for Thanksgiving week and were not disappointed. The Condo was as described, clean and large enough for our two teenagers and ourselves to coexist on cooler, non- beach days! The kitchen is well stocked. The view from the balcony is amazing! Checkout the beautiful sunsets. Frank, our contact was very helpful throughout the whole process. He even went over and above to help us locate some items we had left behind. Overall great experience. We would definitely book again.

Amazing!! Can’t beat the view and the condo was clean and spacious. They thought of everything!!

5 stars across the board! One of our very best vacations and we will be returning. The location is perfect and you couldn’t ask for a nicer condo. We were able to cook in the condo, the bed was super comfy, loved the big couch and the phone chargers being provided was really appreciated!!

Home Away from Home

We love visiting this resort and have been coming here for a long time. Frank is one of our favorite hosts. He keeps the units well maintained and stocked. It really is appreciated that this unit includes beach set-up and beach towels, ample cookware, comfortable furnishings and spectacular views. We met others at the beach that rented from Beach Time Vacations as well, and everyone was complimentary of the level of customer service from Frank and Crystal. Thank you!

Fantastic Experience

This is our third time at Destin West and this unit has by far been our favorite. The views are absolutely amazing and being on the 6th floor is definitely worth it! Everything you need is in the kitchen but the drip coffee pot isn’t great and needs replaced. It also has a K-Cup machine which works better. It is a huge benefit to have the beach service with the chairs and umbrella. The property has made improvements which were needed since we were there last. This unit has been updated very nicely and is very clean. Thank you for sharing with us and we will definitely be back!!

We have vacationed in this area for the last 20 years. The best view we’ve ever experienced. Absolutely Perfect. Watched the 4th of July fireworks from our balcony, breathtaking.

I purchased this condo (#603) as of April 2013. This was my first of three condos in the Destin West Resort. My other units are #411 and #605. I have made many improvements and changes to this condo through the years. I want to offer my guests a nicely decorated and comfortable rental for their stay at Destin West Resort. I encourage you to rent with me and welcome you into my condo. I find the location to be superb and the view is spectacular.

The Destin West Beach and Bay Resort is a premiere choice. Being on Okaloosa Island, it is a much better location than the nearby Destin area. You get access to the same beach and amenities of the surrounding area, but without the huge crowds on the streets and on the beach. This location puts you between the cities of Destin and Ft Walton Beach. You have access to all the same activities, restaurants, and beaches.

My unit #603 provides the best and most unique view. All buildings on Okaloosa Island are max 6 stories in height. Unit 603 is a top corner unit that is closest 1 bedroom to the beach. With the westward facing balcony, the views of the ocean, beach, pier, pool, city, and sunsets is all spectacularly laid out in front you.

At night the view of the ocean is lost into darkness at other locations. However, The Island Hotel next door casts spot lights towards the ocean. This illuminates the water and beach which provides a view even at night. It is beautiful and relaxing.
