We had a group of 7 adults and we have stayed at another VRBO luxury home in Hawaii, but this one was exceptional. The location on the ocean was a huge feature that made this home unique and special. In addition the kitchen was well appointed, the bathrooms were modern and very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the pool was surprisingly fun after a hot day of activities. The location of the house near Koloa Town is really convenient for grocery stores, shopping and dining. The Beach House restaurant is right down the street with a beautiful sunset view of the ocean. The only difficulty we had was the front door lock on the house was broken. The property managers sent someone out to fix it, but it never worked. We had to lock it from the inside and exit out the back. For this price range we shouldn't have to invent ways to enter and exit the home. The locks should work.

Mesmerizing!

Our family of eight spent a week enjoying Kauai and this property! Grandkids spent hours in the beautiful pool . . . we barbequed, enjoyed the fully-outfitted kitchen, and used it as a home base to explore the island. Beautiful home, well-maintained, with everything we needed! Mahalo!

Beautiful Views of the Poipu Coastline(from the pool)!

Backyard is spectacular! We spent most evenings in the pool, watching the sun drop, drinking adult beverages, while turtles swam by. One night we sat out and watched the stars slowly fill the entire sky. House is well equipped(pots, plates, silverware, towels, etc) and even has some water toys to use(boogie boards, etc). We loved the location, about a mile away from the resorts. Inside the home, the beds were adequate, and there were some nice spaces to find solitude when necessary. Overall, a great rental. Mahalo!

Stunning Paradise

The home is almost exactly as pictured. The view is impressively stunning and waking up to the morning sunrise and crashing waves each morning was priceless. The location is convenient to many stores and restaurants. The only negatives: hammock was broken and not replaced, the blender appeared to have never been cleaned properly and there was no hot tub (not a big negative because we wouldn't have used it anyway). The pool was a big hit with everyone (especially the 5 y/o). The kitchen and outdoor grill made family breakfasts and dinners wonderful. The welcome gift basket was a nice surprise. And we REALLY want the Mai Tai recipe!!

We are sorry that the hammock was not available during your stay. After frequently replacing it because of the constant wind and sun exposure, the owners have decided not to replace the hammock again. We also double-checked our listing to be sure - the home is not advertised or photographed as having a hot tub, but it is great knowing how much your ohana enjoyed the pool. We cannot wait to welcome you back again, and we'll be sure to have those Mai Tais ready for you. Aloha and a hui hou.
