Great Location Just off the Strip

The Grand Desert was great and exactly as advertised. Shuttle to the strip is nice but it's also only a 10 minute walk.

Great spot

Awesome spot. Close to the strip (you can walk to MGM Grand) and quiet. If you don't want to stay in a casino this is a great option.

Great Location

In town for a convention. Although the space has a few issues, overall the resort had great amenities and was very close to the restaurants, meeting places, and convention center.

My Vegas Vacation

Beautiful and relaxing. Although Dishwasher had stagnant water and dishes inside it was rectified after a text to Front desk, so also was the air conditioning vents that was closed up in the bedrooms.

Timeshare

I liked the room because it accommodated my family well. I don’t like feeling pressured to join a vacation club. The location was good for our needs, I only went to my room so I don’t know how the amenities of the hotel were. If you are taking your own car this location is good, we did local activities like parks and family cafes.

"Lay back Hotel"

Check in was good but, I didn't get any help with my luggage when it was time to go to my room. I have to drag my bags to my building. This is a hotel for relaxing and having a quiet time. If you are looking to party, this is not the place. The pool in Tower 3 was under construction, it was an inconvenience. There was a lot construction and road closings around the hotel due to the upcoming Formula 1 racing taking place in the city. There is a good walk to nearby attractions. The hotel offers shuttle service to the Paris Hotel area till 6pm. Lyft and UBER are pretty expensive, so we walked most of the time.

Perfect vacation spot for our Vegas trip

We've stayed at numerous properties over the years and have frequently booked through VRBO. The Club Wyndham Desert was perfect for a long weekend with family. There were 4 of us, my husband and his brother & brother's wife. Check-in was so easy. We were pleased to be placed in Tower 1 (at the back of the property) which has easy access to the primary pools (LOVED THE ADULTS ONLY POOL! And the bartender at the Tiki Bar was amazing. Sorry, I can't remember her name, but she was there all weekend taking care of us.). We also loved Tower 1 for the convenient parking garage for our rental car + the Starbucks and the grill made it easy to get breakfast or lunch or snacks!! The 2 bedroom suite was set up perfectly for us. Loved the well appointed kitchen with full sized refrigerator which we stocked with water, beer and other items from our trip to Sams Club. We were in town for a concert at the MGM, so the location of this property was ideal. Plus, we could walk to Planet Hollywood and catch an UBER ride (or pick up UBER right at the front of the property). The complimentary shuttle that runs from the Club Wyndham to Paris and back was super easy to use and convenient. Used it to run to Cesaers a couple of times. While we've stayed at 'more elegant' resorts, this property was exactly what we needed for this trip. Convenient, clean, friendly, GREAT pools (3 of them) and jacuzzi's. Thanks, VRBO. Kudos to this resort. We would definitely book a return stay!

Great stay

So long as you dodge the timeshare pitch, which was really easy to do, this is a great condo building with a fun pool and a great location for a family stay just off the strip.

Nice stay near strip

Room and resort very nice. About a 10 minute walk from the Strip, which we did a couple of times. Not sure about walking it after dark. There is a shuttle that runs back and forth to Paris. It is a time share property, but I politely told them we were not interested and it wasn't much of a bother. Would stay here again.

Oasis in Vegas!

We loved staying here! The rooms were beautiful and spacious. There were six in our party and we were very comfortable. The service was great, everyone was kind and very attentive. The amenities were as pictured and we had anything we needed on site. The large gym was a plus, it was well equipped. We would definitely stay again!

Great property

We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Grand Desert. It was a very nice room and everything worked well. The pool and hot tub areas were great and the gym was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. It was 2 blocks off the strip so the streets weren't crazy busy but were safe.

Great Location, Staff, Room Accommodations

This was a pleasurable experience. The location is close to the strip without the noise. The room floorplan allows for privacy yet small group gatherings. The gyms have as much as one would need to get in workouts while traveling. There are plenty of pools and activities to keep oneself busy on site. The rooms were clean and have all you need for a home away from home. Will stay here again!

Great place for a vacation while on vaction

Got to take a break from the strip when we got tired. Individual rooms for privacy. Complete kitchen for us frugal folk that like to not eat out every meal. Nice pools nothing to crazy.
