Thanks Jessie. I agree, the first floor location near the village entrance of Mountain Lodge is perfect for families with small children or anyone not wanting to climb stairs with ski equipment.

Thanks for the review. In regards to the living space...all the 2BR Mtn Lodge condos have the same living area. We intentionally did not put in a coffee table so there is more room...and with 2 end tables, there is ample space to set drinks and other items. This guest did not have 6 staying in this 2BR, so I can understand that the dining table may have been larger than needed. The condo is designed to sleep 6 and there is a table to accommodate a group this size. I agree that it is very easy to access the slopes and is one of the reasons we purchased it.

I just want to make quick comment about the mattresses. I prefer a firm mattress and can attest that this mattress is still firm. It is hard to conform to every renters needs when it comes to the firmness of a mattress. I would suspect this renter does not like a firm mattress which is why he made the suggestion.

This renter stayed on the last weekend that the slopes were open for the 2015/16 season so there had been many folks who had rented the past 4 months. Some issues are things that are out of my control and I do personally clean my condos top-to-bottom in both Spring and Fall (besides the housekeeping between rentals). I put dish soap under the sink, sharpen knives, touch up the paint on the walls, wash the bed linens and clean the carpets and more. I do state that the Split Rock Pools are across the street - and there is a fee...but the only way to get in for free is to rent through Snowshoe Central Reservations. The money you save renting through me will offset the cost you would pay renting from them. As for the oven, we have learned that when you cook at 4800 feet, you need to turn it down 25-50 degrees - not just for that unit but for the ones in the other condos we own as well. As regarding being outdated, I agree that it does not have granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. You can go next door and pay double if you want that at Allegheny Springs. On the flip side, I agree that you can certainly get a nice, clean room at a reasonable price renting any of my 6 Mountain Lodge Condos. Martin
