Provide more than 1.5 rolls of toilet paper, or let your guests know they need to bring some of their own.
Provide more than 2 sets of low-end towels, and include a bathmat. (Sure, was in the email that we could rent more for $5 per set. Which Motel 6 doesn't do. They just give you all you want. At no extra charge.)
Experienced VRBO users might already know to do these things, but those used to staying in corporate-owned suites at premium properties may need some newbie prep.
Next time, I'll do my homework about events scheduled on the property before booking a stay. That's on me, not the owner. But if the venue is going to be overwhelmed by a concert, convention, or, in this case, GNCC 2024, perhaps advise the booking guest that another weekend might be preferable if the idea was to get away in the off season for a bit of mountain peace and quiet.
All in all, we made the best of it and had a great time, and we met a lot of drunk, rowdy, but fun and polite (for the most part) young dirt bike types. An adventure, shall we say.
