My daughter was there for 2 weeks for work. GSSR is an older property but the location was good for our needs. Property managers were personable enough.

Housekeeping is struggling

Booking, easy! Checkin and parking, easy!Communication, great! Housekeeping and sanitization of the condo, disgusting. I’ve stayed at cheaper places and the cleanliness was 5 stars.There was urine splattered on the wall behind the toilet. Hand prints on the mirror behind the bathroom door. Dust bunnies on the bedroom ceiling fan. Food splattered on the wall and cabinet near the trash can in the kitchen. The light above the mirror in the bathroom is burnt. The base boards had hair and dirt that you can see from a distance. The decorative pillows on the bed…go ahead and flip those around. They’re stained and dirty. These pillows are touching the pillows you use to put your face on to sleep! This was the most I’ve spent on a room in this area and it was the dirtiest.

Title

The property was well cared for. The only shortcoming was no indoor dining table. Instead there were two large couches. We have stayed at GSSRC many times and have never seen this setup before. It was annoying.

Nicely decorated decent equipment

We enjoyed our stay. Was nicely decorated on inside. There was a good assortment of utensils and equipment, although the beach chairs were rusty and in need of replacement. The sliding door to balcony was were hard to close. Check in and out was fairly easy.

Nice little condo

This one bedroom condo was small but had a great view of the gulf & little lagoon. The other gust were very friendly.

Nice stay

We enjoyed a quick trip to Gulf Shores. The condo was clean with a well stocked kitchen and nice decor. The view of the beach from condo was beautiful. The property owners were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Communications were prompt and easy to understand. Overall, the complex had a nice pool and hot tub. We used the tennis/racquetball courts everyday. Kayaks were available for rent. Overall, the property was a very good location with easy beach access.

Beautiful Views

It was close to a ton of restaurants and fun activities but far enough so the late-night festivities did not disturb sleep. The beautiful condo had a view of the ocean from the balcony and a view of the lagoon outside of the door. It was a perfect choice for our vacation.

Spring Break

The area wasn't extremely busy and we enjoyed that. The condo employees were friendly and helpful. We had renters next to us that partied playing loud music until 3am for the entire week. Im a hard sleeper but they woke me up multiple times each night so that greatly took away from the enjoyment of the trip but the security guards did their best to stop it. Overall we enjoyed our trip and would try it again at this condo.

Spring Break Base Ball Tournament

I selected this property because it was near the location where our baseball team was housed. The unit was absolutely wonderful. It was really nice to come to a quiet place, sit on the balcony and see the gulf, without having to look between towers, just two-story houses. The unit is perfect for a couple who want to get away. I am going to keep this one on my list for the next time I visit Gulf Shores.

Loved it!!

Loved everything about this place. The unit was cozy, clean, had everything we needed and also a fabulous view. The unit offers two beach chairs and a wagon, which you don’t see in all units. Couldn’t get enough of watching the waves from the balcony. GSSR is such a nice place to stay. Everyone is so nice and friendly and they even have activities for guests. I didn’t want to leave. Looking forward to staying here again next year. We did have one slight issue but it was solved immediately. Leeann and Holly are fabulous to work with.

Love GSSRC!

Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club is our favorite place to stay in GS. I love the beach and my husband loves fishing out back on the lagoon. The beach view from this unit is very nice! The new elevators are super nice also. My rating is 4 stars, simply due to the fact that the dryer didn't work. It was a bit of an ordeal getting our clothes dry. Manager said a repairman was coming after we left, but that didn't help me any.

Nice vacation

We have stayed at the surf and racquet club many times over the years. We love staying in A building. The condo was nice and appeared clean and smelled clean but it was not. Floors were dirty and the bathroom was not very clean. I would not have rented that particular condo if I would have known it was for sale.

Perfect place and location.

This condo was exactly as described. Easy and short walk to the beach and a beautiful dock area for fishing in the bay. We enjoyed our stay here and the property managers are easy to get in touch with. Definitely recommend.

Such a beautiful place!

I enjoyed EVERY MINUTE at this little condo! It had a gorgeous beach view and was perfect for the two of us. We hope to be here again soon!
