I’ll start with the good, the check in process was fast and efficient until I was stopped from walking out of the lobby by a person hounding me to schedule a timeshare presentation. She was very nice but very persistent that we schedule a meeting.
The property was clean, which we appreciated very much.
The amenities were nice, with the exception of the tiny pools. There were so many people in the pools that we couldn’t enjoy them, and couldn’t get a chair at all. We enjoyed put-put however!
Our 3 bedroom condo was clean and comfortable for the most part, we enjoyed the balcony and view of the playground.
The Bad: our room was on the 3rd floor, our upstairs neighbors were extremely noisy from the minute we checked in. All hours of the day and night we heard stomping, running, furniture moving and dragging, ball bouncing, etc. I am not a complainer at all, so after the first sleepless night (I mean completely sleepless), I called the front desk to ask them what we could do, they lied to me and told me that the family had just checked out, so we shouldn’t have anymore problems, we thought “Great, no worries!!” The second day and night was exactly the same, up all night not being able to sleep, I called front desk during the night and they said that they would send security up. The noice did not stop!! It was so bad during the day that me and my elderly aunt could not have a conversation sitting in our living room! The third day, I wrote a survey about the first couple of nights and was contacted by a security guard to see what we could do. I also contacted VRBO and they told me that they couldn’t do anything, it was up to the resort at that point.
To wrap up a long story, we called security 4 out of 8 nights (could have called every night, but it did no good) and didn’t sleep much at all the entire trip! It was absolutely miserable, and there was no attempt or offer to remedy the situation! I never spoke with a manager, and like I said VRBO was useless once I checked in.
If you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation, you may want to look elsewhere.
