Everything was comfortable. Shower was nice kitchen well equipped location was perfect. Only a couple things I wasn’t satisfied with … there was a strong mildew odor throughout the kitchen towels need replacing and the floor was filthy. I would have even mopped if there was a mop available.

Started out a bit rocky but they more than compensated by upgrading us to a nicer place easier to get in and out of, and answered every question we had, quickly and efficiently.

This is ideal for a couple that wants to be near the beach and not spend a lot of time at the house. Best feature was proximity to the pier and beaches. I would not say it had an ocean view.

Great location for 2!

Perfect for 2 people in March. It’s a small space, so the space heater warmed it up quickly at night. We did hear the people above us. However, the location was ideal!

Beautiful View!

Very nice. Was a little too warm a couple days without air conditioning. The upstairs neighbors were up all night making noises, speaking loudly. Close to beach. Can walk to beach in matter of minutes. View of ocean was beautiful from the patio. I would definitely stay there again.

Vacasa

The room and location was great basically all we needed. The Wi-Fi was very slow and I think you need to leave two keys if you have two people staying there. However, dealing with vacasa was very impersonal frustrating trying to communicate with them about an early check-in and a little later check out times.

Ocean view but dated…good price!

Location great, a little dated, some small ants in kitchen, need new shower head, coffee pot dirty and needs replaced, wet blanket in closet, floor needed cleaned, door below sink needs repaired as did not shut properly, door on bedroom furniture needed fixed. Staff responded when asked to re clean floor and repair bedroom furniture.

Cute seaside abode

I rented the week for my sister and great niece. It is adorable and a perfect location. They had everything they needed. I only have 2 recommendations. When we arrived the shower curtain was on the floor and damp, I have would recommend a different rod. Also the lock box was rusty and difficult to open and close. Recommend replacing. Other than that everything was great.

Black hairs were located on the bedding sheets and pillow. Children above this apartment were loud, thunderous activity making you feel they were coming through the ceiling. This occurred every morning and night. Porch is small and trafficked by the people upstairs. No privacy. For the money, you can do better. WiFi and cell service is intermittent. Can’t use computer or cell as desired.

You can see the ocean from the small patio. Parking space is extremely small but we were able to find free parking throughout our stay. It was in a quiet area and provided everything we needed. It did get warm at night as there are not enough windows to allow for a cross breeze.Overall, I was very satisfied.

Disappointed and checked out 3 days early

Property was dirty. I had to wipe my feet every time before going to bed because there was so much dirt and sand on the floor. Area was noisy with construction noise and neighbors being very close. It just had a dingy, small, dirty, claustrophobic feel to it. I left 3 full days early and booked myself a real hotel. I will not be trying for any sort of refund as it's not worth the hassle, but I will be thinking twice again before using VRBO. Sorry.

Great location; small unit

This unit was perfect for a quick weekend getaway for two. I do not think a 3rd person would fit unless it is a child under 12. It is “cozy” and like some other reviewers have noted, not a unit to lounge around in but the beach is so close as are restaurants and shopping. San Clemente is so charming. If you are needing space for a larger group, consider Unit A and Unit D. That would accommodate 10.

Good stay with one problem

Fit our needs. However, the large group in an upstairs unit was extremely loud—very loud music, stomping on floor, shouting. This was after 9 pm. To our knowledge, Guest services did not respond despite our call. We ended up calling police. Garbage disposal was broken.

Sweet Little Bungalow

We stayed for a few days prior to X-Mas. This place was very clean and perfectly fine for sleeping and eating. Because of the very limited overall size, it's not as suited for lounging. That's why I've called it a "little bungalow". Having said that, the owners have created a lovely environment, given the footprint. Beautiful neighborhood, very close to the beach and the shops on Del Mar. Perfect for one or two people who don't require a lot of extra room.

Great small patio sunset views...

Very cute functional small place to stay and explore the San Clemente area. Hilly but many restaurants within short walking distance. Very responsive management. Great for 2 to be comfortable.
