Really good communication. Great real Wyoming high plains cabin feel - perfect for couple - 2 couples or small family if you want to be out there for a few days - but still only 20 minutes from downtown Laramie and UWy.

Prairie Cabin complete with Prairie Dogs!

Fun cabin, out by itself but close enough for running into Laramie. Comfortable, casual. Prairie dogs, coyotes, sky and stars!

Winter Wonderland Getaway at Hummel Cabin

Stayed at Hummel Cabin over the Christmas holiday and it was a fantastic experience! The cabin was cozy, well-maintained, and perfectly located for snowmobiling adventures. It truly was the ideal getaway spot for a winter escape. Highly recommend!

Family visit

20 minutes outside laramie wyoming. Farm animals as well as wild animals nearby. Great place, comfortable beds, clean, very pleasant. Felt like home.

Western Adventure

We spent two nights at the Hummel cabin. A perfect resting spot after days of adventure in the Snowy Peaks, Butch Cassidy's prison and more. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, and very safe. We even had a friendly horse to keep us company out in the barn. Great WiFi and streaming services too. The host was friendly and responded quickly. We will be back when we are in the area.

Wyoming vacation

We were completely happy with our stay. The property owners went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. Even allowing us to check in a day early. We will definitely be back again. It made a difficult time sending our son off to college so much easier! The Hummel family are amazing!!!

High Plains Getaway

We absolutely loved it here. From the from the wind, to the livestock greeting us at the fence, to the dramatic sunrises, to the shy full of stars (and a meteor from the Taurids), the Hummel Cabin was just what we needed for our week of hikes in the Medicine Bow and Laramie Ranges. Valerie and Todd provided immediate response to questions and were great hosts. We would be happy to stay here again!

Very charming on a working ranch. Tastefully decorated, kitchen fully stocked to cook almost anything. Very clean, perfect for getaway and base camp for area recreation. Owners were easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. Valerie is so easy to work with and the cabin was very nice. Hope to stay there again in the future.

Wyoming paradise.

Everything was great. The hosts were very pleasant and the property was clean and accommodating for us. It was a quiet peaceful luttke cabin but still not far from town and other adventures.

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay from the minute we arrived! Valerie was so nice to work with! She kept us informed from beginning to end. The cabin had everything we needed. We were staying the weekend for our son's graduation from WYO, and this cabin was very convenient. A quick drive to town! The cabin was exactly as pictured and described. Enjoyed waking up to a beautiful view of the countryside, cows, horses, and prairie dogs!

First time using VRBO and it was a great experience

The property is a short distance from town which was exactly what we wanted. The home had everything we needed to cook meals, sleep comfortably and enjoy family time. Valarie and Todd were great hosts and answered any questions we had.

I didn’t mind the property but it is at the end of a long, dirt road that can be pretty muddy. You’re close to the interstate so there is a constant rumble of semi truck traffic at night. Cabin is cozy and host is great. We skied so didn’t spend much time on site.
