House fit our group needs perfectly! Short walk to the beach was a highlight. Loved swimming in the pool and the hot tub every evening. Loved listening to the ocean on the deck while looking for meteors.

House was perfect. Large and spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas. Game room was a hit with our older kids. Appreciated having 3 refrigerators - huge help with 11 people. Short 5 minute walk to the beach.

Perfect Family Getaway!

We loved everything about this vacation home! Our group included 8 adults and 3 children under the age of 4, and the house provided plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The private pool was a big hit, and the short walk to the beach made daily trips easy and enjoyable. We also loved the surrounding area—renting a golf cart added to the fun! We used it for quick rides to the park, ice cream shop, and even the grocery store. This home had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway. We would absolutely stay here again!

The house was clean when we arrived. I wish they had better pillows as they were not very good. The hot tub and pool seemed like it had not been cleaned in a long time. I also thought the extra beach chairs, umbrellas was nice in the store room, someone needs to clean that area out though as it was a mess. Overall our visit was pleasant.

Our extended family of 13 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nirvana! The home was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a fantastic beach vacation! The pool and hot tub were a big hit as well as the convenient access to the beach. If we return to the area in the future I would definitely stay here again!

The house was wonderful and close to beach access. Had everything we needed! Highly recommend. Recommend coming in early on Saturday, traffic was terrible coming in! We left very early on the following Saturday with no problem!

A week at Nirvana

Well stocked kitchen . We do a lot of cooking so we appreciated all the kitchen accessories that were available. Did need a new can opener and had to rearrange the cabinets in order to find anything. Gas grill was full of grease. The house was clean and comfortable. Quick walk to the beach and the pool was wonderful. Lots of room for everyone to swim. Large outdoor closet with every beach toy and game imaginable. Jets in hot tub very weak but it heated up well. All in all a great place to spend the week.

Another perfect week!

This was the second time we chose Nirvana for our OBX vacation and we're already reserved for next year! Our days are split pretty evenly between the beach, only a 5 minute walk away, and the large, heated pool and hot tub. The shed is well-stocked with a beach umbrella, chairs and toys, altho bringing some of our favorites added to the kids' fun. The TVs are hardly on at all with pool, foosball, and air hockey available inside and multiple games outdoors. The gas grill and outdoor table umbrellas were new and the deck furniture accommodated our whole family. The kitchen has an ample supply of dishes and flatware but could use some large fry/saute pans for meal prep. The only complaint about furnishings was the soft mattress in the newer mid-level bedroom. The few issues that did arise were promptly handled by the very responsive, pleasant staff at Shoreline. An A+ vacation!

Nirvana is a wonderful vacation home! We all loved the layout of this house and could tell that it is well taken care of. The views are spectacular and the walk to the beach is so quick and easy. The pool area is the best we have ever had in our 25+ years of coming to the Corolla area. This is the first time that we have used Shoreline Preferred and they are great. Their communication is the best we have experienced with any realty company! We will use them again for our vacation needs.

The house location and amenities were excellent. The view from the upper deck is great. The Shoreline OBX service was excellent; they responded very quickly to our few maintenance requests through the week. The one challenge that was not overcome...some of the bedroom TVs were confusing to operate and were not used much because of this.

The house is lovely, with lots of modern touches. The pool area is beautiful. However, the pool doesn't have a handrail of any sort so it's challenging for young children and some of our older family members to get in and out of the pool with nothing to hold on to. The door in the downstairs bunk room also didn't close all the way, but otherwise the house is perfect. The basement area is such a great set up.

Beautiful home

This beach house was perfect for our vacation in Corolla. It was very clean and had everything you needed and more. There were many games and activities to keep the kids entertained. The pool and hot tub were amazing!! Short walk to the beach and great view of the ocean from the deck. We would definitely stay here again.

A+ house, furnishings and location!

This lovely home is just 4 houses from the Sturgeon beach access - a quick, easy walk. The ocean views from the well-furnished deck are amazing. The house is very comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and a nice bedroom configuration for our group of 12. But it was the large pool that was the highlight for us! We opted to heat the pool and we were in it throughout the day, every day. The shed is well-stocked with pool toys and once again, the selection of comfortable poolside furniture was impressive. We loved this house and after 22 trips to the OBX we have quite the inventory for comparison! A shout out to Shoreline OBX for their excellent communication and prompt response to the few issues we did have.

Beautiful house - tastefully decorated. Large pool (not too deep - maybe 5ft?) so perfect for younger children new to swimming or to use pool floats. Short walk to beach. Excellent neighborhood for biking/walking/jogging. We had an amazing week here and would happily book this house again. *Only recommendation to make this house better would be to remove all carpeting on middle floor, especially in two of the bathrooms. But based on the newer renovations to other parts of the house I'm sure that will be an upcoming project.* Really just a gorgeous and well maintained property, with beautiful sunset views from the kitchen/dining room/deck every night!

I'm only giving this house 2 stars because every shower in the house needs to be replaced along with the shower doors. They are all stained due to using incorrect cleaners, and the shower doors are corroding and gross. We had a very bad ant problem in the kitchen pantry which lead to throwing away food. We couldn't put any food on the kitchen counter. We called and this was addressed quickly but the damage was done. Despite this, the house was very nice, large, and the upper deck was lovely to sit out on during the afternoon and evening. You could hear the ocean! The walk to the beach was not bad at all. The pool was great! We had a wonderful week outside of the shower and ant issues.

Nirvana WHL-22 Review

My 4 star review is only because of ants in the kitchen and living room. The front doorway was really disgusting and we couldn't sit on the front porch because of the dead bugs. In the backyard, there was a bar with a built in cooler. The cooler was filthy and unusable. Otherwise the stay was great and everything went well, as expected.
