Good spot in Palmetto Dunes

Cute property. We loved riding bikes everywhere. Loved being right on the beach. The pools were nice. The view is great. Could stock with a few more things (towels, cleaning supplies, kitchen items). We enjoyed our stay.

Great views.

We loved the adult pool and hot tub and the grill area. The unit had wonderful views of the beach and ocean from every window. The shades In the living room were great and allowed viewing both sunrise and sunsets a treat. Highly recommend this rental!

Perfect week on the beach

This was the second time we stayed in the unit. You can't beat the location on the beach and in the heart of Palmetto Dunes. Watch the sunrise from your bedroom, take easy walks on the beach, and enjoy pool time in the large pool or new adults only pool. Bike ride to restaurants and entertainment. And relax in the comfort of a home away from home.

Very nice with a couple minor gripes

Very nice space, loved the full size washer and dryer. The only two gripes we had were, we were stuck inside due to the weather and the TVs are very old and we could not hook our Rokus to them to watch movies. The only other thing was neither shower had much pressure.

1407 Villamare

We love Hilton Head Island and Villamare. This was our first time staying in this particular condominium unit. To start with the positives: -The condo was nicely updated and clean. -The full-size washer and dryer are amazing. -There is a perfect view of the ocean from all the sliding glass doors and windows. -There is plenty of space for a family of 6 like mine. -The large kitchen sink is great and the kitchen had most of what we needed. -The tile floor is great for keeping clean and swept, so no gross carpet to deal with. -The Wi-Fi connection is great so we did not have any trouble in that area. -The pool area is fabulous, although we barely used the main pool because the water was pretty chilly. -The walk to the ocean is less than 5 minutes from the condo to the sand…some of the time is lost waiting on the elevator, which can be very slow. The main downside was that we had a problem with the bathtub and were trying to work with management to get it resolved, but we were unable to use it during our stay. Overall, we had a great time and will be back to Villamare in 2023.

Elevator doesn't worn.

Make sure you don't mind climbing stairs if you rent this condo. Our week long stay started with us arriving to the condo to find out the only elevator for the building wasn't working with an unknown time of fixing it (the condo is on the fourth floor). The elevator wasn't even looked at by repair people until Monday. It didn't get repaired until Thursday evening. The air in the condo stopped working midweek and took 2 days for them to get someone out to repair it. The condo was nice enough but not cleaned well. The kitchen is very well stocked. Also there are minimal amount of towels so I would recommend bringing your own if you don't want to do laundry everytime you take a shower. Also for most of the week the hot tub didn't work either. The maintenance of the resort itself is less than desirable. Also, vacasa staff are horrible to work with. They sound nice and like they are going to get things done, but there is no follow through at all. Run!! Find somewhere that is not rented through. by Vacasa.

Great location

This is a nice updated condo in a great location in Palmetto Dunes. Villamare is right past security in PD, near the Marriott resort. This unit has a nice partial ocean view. Full size washer & dryer, updated and clean. 2 balcony’s with seating to enjoy the views. All the kitchen items you need. The TV’s offer cable, but not streaming services. Queen beds are nice & soft, however the King bed was hard as a rock. The pool is nice size, with plenty of lounge chairs. however there isnt much shade or any tables/chairs to sit at. The unit also has a great borrowed item bin where you can leave your discarded beach items which is awesome. Overall this is a nice unit in a nice community. Great place to stay in HHI

This condo was a modern welcoming place. Well laid out, light and airy. Great for our family. Close to many activities, beach, golf, tennis, pickleball and biking.

Great ocean front view

The Villamare property was spacious and well appointed. It was a real pleasure to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean waves as we had breakfast. I highly recommend this property.

Please is beautiful

Great location, clean and updated. Beach is perfect. Pool is huge. Two hot tubs were overrun with little kids though - parents letting them play for an hour plus.
