Quiet and peaceful the entire time we were there (late September). Home is very well equipped, large deck overlooking a quiet little lake. Plenty of room for relaxing and Lake MI is a quick drive to watch sunsets or walk the beach or a short run to the dunes of Silver Lake. Lots of orchards around. Very nice stay for us - feel rejuvenated. Great hosts - very responsive and kind.
Dog friendly - dogs love it!

Lovely stay at Bootsie’s Place!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Bootsie’s Place. We loved the quiet private lake and enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak. It was just what we needed. It felt secluded but was still only a short drive away to other attractions. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay.

Weekend Getaway

This was our second stay at Bootsies and loved it just as much as the first! The house has everything you'll need. The view is perfect overlooking the lake. We'll be back!

Comfortable and Peaceful

The house is comfortable and peaceful with a beautiful lakeside view. The house is not centrally air conditioned but we stay during the Fall so it isn’t an issue. Plenty of supplies to make your stay enjoyable.

Paradise!

Debbie is so accommodating and answers the phone every time I had a question! We love to BBQ while we're on vacation and with Macs Meats just down the road and an awesome propane grill provided we were set! Everything was super clean and lake was perfect. Will definitely had to come back to this place!

Clean and Serene...with everything you need

Found the property to be just as described. It was clean with everything you need for your stay, and more. The view of the lake is amazing and creates a very calming relaxed atmosphere from sunrise to sunset. The proximity to local wineries and the Dunes of Silver Lake was perfect for our stay. Would highly recommend Bootsies Place for rest and relaxation in west Michigan.

Lil bit of Heaven!

We had such a wonderful Labor Day family weekend at Bootsie’s. There was plenty of room for all with the spacious living room and dining area. The back deck was huge and overlooked the beautiful little Lake Tahoe. Everyone took advantage of the peddleboat, rowboat, and kayak - so fun. Debbie was such a nice hostess and everything we could have needed was available at the home. We are already looking st dates for next summer. Thank you Bootsie’s!!

Very nice place and very hospitable host

We had a nice time at Boatsie's place! the house was clean and well prepared, we had to open the windows at the beginning probably because we were the first guests this year. We had an issue so we called Debbie and she was quick to react and solve the issue, which was greatly appreciated. Overall I am satisfied with the stay and I recommend it

Great cozy lake house

We had a wonderful time staying at Debbie's place. The location was great, the outdoor deck was a fantastic place to hang out. Loved fishing off the dock every night. Debbie was very helpful and went out of her way to take care of me. Great experience! I would say the only downside is not having Wi-Fi. We will be back next year

Best Find!

A group of my friends and I were looking for a cottage or vacation rental for a long quiet weekend away from the city. I can't remember how I stumbled upon Bootsie's Place, but boy am I glad I did. The cottage was clean and well maintained and had everything we needed and more. It was much larger than we thought and all of our expectations were blown away. We only left the cottage twice during our stay, once to go grocery shopping and once to go wine tasting (at Oceana Winery--only 12 min away). The rest of our stay we hung out on the porch, sat on the dock and in the lake floating around. I went fishing and caught blue gill and perch! Before we had even left we were planning when we could come back. I would recommend this to anyone!

Better than we expected!

We stayed here 3 nights. We ventured over to Michigan Adventures as well as silver lake sand dunes while that was fun, I would rather have spent the time at the house! If you want to have a great experience on the sand dunes, I would highly recommend the Razor J's Adventure Tours, worth every penny! The house was so relaxing and the lake was warm and quiet. The house had everything we could have needed. The kids 3 years old and 4 years old loved it here as well, they even swam down to the beachfront park and played down there. The lake was a great temperature, it was a bit murky on the bottom but it got deep pretty quick so it wasn't really a bother not anything water shoes wouldn't fix. The use of the two boats was very convenient. We had 5 adults and 2 children and never felt crowded at all, this home has a great layout and larger feeling than we thought it would. The only hard part was only one bathroom, but that was mostly since we have potty training children. Overall a great clean house with everything you would need to enjoy a great vacation! We will be back and spending more time at the house next time. Denise was very helpful and just a phone call away. I would recommend this spot to anyone going on vacation, it was amazing in every aspect! ~The Amerman Clan

Cottage weekend

Kinda hard to get a group around fire pit , slanted on a hill, and we love to have fires, but it was fine. Nice quiet lake.

Fantastic slice of paradise

We had such a wonderful stay at Bootsies place. The views were breathtaking and our dog loved swimming in the lake. Debbie was a very gracious hostess and was quick to respond to all our needs! We can’t say enough positive things about this place!
