Cat Nap was an excellent stay for our trip. So close to Rainbow Beach and the breezes each day were so refreshing.

The host was extremely helpful before check-in to make sure we had all the information we needed. We had stayed here 10 years ago in 2015 and it was a fantastic house. Still a great house for an affordable rate though it is a bit older and there are a few areas that could use a little fixing up. Overall the location is fantastic and the house is a great house for a wonderful stay on Eleuthera. It was great to have a cooler that we could take out with us throughout the day, a few beach chairs that we could take and the beach towels. Having an outdoor faucet that we could rinse our gear off at the end of each day was fantastic too!

The house was great! The owner was great to work with.

The house is very charming and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We took morning walks to Rainbow Bay beach for early swimming and it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again! Also, this is a very fair and reasonably priced property for the size.

Excellent Stay

We loved Cat Nap! The house was much bigger than we expected and very comfortable. It’s centrally located between Rainbow Bay and Governors Harbour and we truly enjoyed our three nights in this home

comfy and clean

We cooked and enjoyed the family with the open floor plan. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning along with the view and fresh air. We have stayed multi times and like to call this place home.

Perfect family get away!

We had a wonderful weeks stay at Cat Nap. The cottage is neat and clean. It has everything you need. The AC works great and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need for cooking. We enjoyed our time in the cottage and it’s the perfect location to enjoy both ends and the middle of Eleuthera!

Great stay

Just returned from our wonderful stay at cat nap! This is our 3rd trip back to the little piece heaven and had a great experience with Melissa and her cottage ! Everything is just as the pictures show and it was great to have jeep amd golf cart available . We have stayed at rainbow bay before and love The location on the island .we have already booked our trip in November to go back !

Lovey place to stay

The weather could not have been nicer this time of year. The house was clean and approx mid way to all sights and beaches to see. Eleuthra is a very quiet island and a great place to go if you're looking to relax. The only thing that was missing was beach chairs but overall it was clean and a nice place to stay.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. The weather was pretty good for you :) I'm sorry you did not find the beach chairs. I found them in the garage leaning against a wall to the side of the kayak. The previous guests must have left them there when checking out. I hope to host you again at Cat Nap or in Spanish Wells

Quiet and Peaceful

Enjoyed tlhe balcony view and breeze that kept the house pleasantly cool and open without having to rely on AC. Nice area to walk and close to several beaches and nice views of the entire rainbow area.

The house was good. Had all we needed to be comfortable. However the grass needed to be mowed.

glad you had a great triip. Unfortuantely, the guys who do the yard work cannot mow in the rain or mow wet grass. As it rained everyday for more than a week before you arrival and every day while you were here, it made it impossible for them to mow that yard or any others due on the island. It was mowed the afternoon you checked out as it did not rain for 24hrs and the sun dried up the grass enough to mow.

best secret spot on the planet

Melisa and her home where amazing and did not disappoint. Very clean well maintained in an amazing location. My family felt safer in Eleuthera than we did in our own home and with all of the amazing beaches so close we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing vacation! We loved it so much we bought a lot in Rainbow Bay but don't tell anyone because we like it just the way it is.

No regrets

A great place for a great price. Cat Nap is the perfect home away from home vibe. It is cozy and has everything you need to enjoy a vacation! Melisa was very helpful in securing us a car rental -a must on Eleuthera, and giving us suggestions on places to go and see :) I would definately return and recommend Cat Nap to anyone considering it

Heavenly...

This was my family's fourth trip to the beautiful island of Eleuthera. The Cat Nap was the perfect place to lay our heads at the end of a fabulous day of exploring and beaching. The home is newly constructed and well stocked with linens and several kitchen items, as well as games and puzzles. Melisa is very friendly and easy to work with. Access to a vehicle and golf cart makes guests' stays even simpler. Our family enjoyed both Melisa and her beautiful home!

Amazing rental!

We stayed for 2 weeks here. It's a great location and having use of a jeep and golf cart was fantastic! You need a car rental on this island, so having the option of one at your cottage is very conveinant. The cottage is a perfect size with open concept and a simple beach decor that is very homey feeling. It's close to an amazing beach and in the middle of the island, so very easy to get anywhere on the island in minimal time. Melisa was great. Very professional and was right there if we needed anything. The price is very reasonable and the cottage has everything you need for comfort. We loved exploring the island! Will definitely be back!

BEST TRIP EVER! WELL UNTIL OUR NEXT TRIP.

Hands down the best cottage i've ever stayed at. It was so lovely that we extended our stay. The pictures does the cottage no justice, its very spacious and comfy. Just lovely. Really comfy slept in the couch almost as much as the bed. The view from the porch is just simply amazing. We got front row seats to watch the Blood Moon. Lots of privacy. Melisa and milo ( her lovely pup) are very welcoming. Give us the info we needed to find the most amazing spots on the island. We will be back and will be recommending cat nap to all of our friends and family. This was my 1st cottage rental and I thank Melisa for making it easy and simple. Thank you so much

Nice and peaceful stay

We had a lovely stay here. The place was easy to find with the instructions provided and the communication was good. Check-in was easy. This was a standalone house and felt private. I liked that they had a cooler and camping chairs that you could take to the beach. Having the AC on for our check-in was a very nice and thoughtful touch. Clean up rules were minimal though you should take the trash to the location they mention if you stay more than a couple days. I understand that they are about to make some updates to this property so this is based on the original set up/layout in September 2023. On my wish list for the update would be a larger TV and a larger couches for more people to sit comfortably, but this is just a wish list, it didn't affect our nice stay here. Bring cooking oil and pepper if you plan to cook.

Thanks for being great guests. The new countertops and backsplash made it to island and were installed. As the power company fried the TV, a slightly bigger one was purchased and installed.
