We moved to North Idaho from San Diego, California, in 1991 with our two young children and a dream of building a home in Carlin Bay. From the beginning, we designed our home with the hope that one day, after our children were grown, it would become a bed and breakfast.
Our three-level home includes a private, lock-off apartment in the daylight basement, where we stay during the summer months. Over the years, I began managing other waterfront homes as summer rentals, and once our children left for college, we decided to share our own home with guests as well.
Instead of opening a bed and breakfast, our home has evolved into a beautiful summer vacation rental. Today, we offer our spacious three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath lakefront home exclusively for summer stays, giving guests the opportunity to experience the beauty and tranquility of Carlin Bay just as our family has for so many years.
