The home was dirty upon our arrival. The tables had residue from dirty hands. The sheets and pillow cases had stains. Only 1 burner on the stove top worked.

Poor cleanliness

Lovely property however very dirty and in need of a deep clean and proper maintenance. Broken pictures, cigarette burn in sofa, broken cupboards, broken blinds. Dirty sofa and bedding. Broken tvs. Floor and skirting boards filthy

Absolutely terrible - don't book

This property should be delisted, its is substandard in terms of facilities and cleanliness. The issues listed were found in arrival, obviously no pre inspection had taken place by the management company. Whilst a few of the issues were fixed, they shouldn't have been issues in the first place. Smashed over door which was dangerous and needed replacing immediately. Broken kitchen drawer Broken kitchen cupboard door Broken curtain rail in front room Only 3 cereal bowls for a house that sleeps 16 Light in downstairs bedroom not working Tv screen in cinema is cracked, not working Tv in upstairs communal area not working. No signal Bed light upstairs not working Media unit upstairs broken Media unit in playroom broken Playroom floor is absolutely filthy dirty Wardrobe doors in princess room are off hinges Broken drawer in fridge Chips in mirror glass table downstairs which is dangerous to little fingers Kitchen utensils not up to standard, blunt kitchen knives, scissors that didn't cut, that sort of thing. Its a shame I cant post any photos. Exec villas took little responsibility, whilst some of the issues were fixed, others were not. I'm not sure the oven was legal for a rental property, and a TV cinema room where the TV is cracked so doesn't work, come on!! The stinking dirty floor in the playroom(a converted garage) was not attended too. All in all shocking really. Its a shame as the property could be brilliant with a little investment.

Group Vacation

While this house was beautiful and everyone had a great time there were a few things that could have improved. Upon arriving at the house the pool heat and hot tub heat was not working. This was a feature that we paid for and took 3 days to get something done as the owner would not respond. Also, the pool was filthy and the water smelled funny. We had to track down one of the pool guys to come and add some chemicals so that it was clean. There was a big beautiful kitchen for cooking in but there were not a lot of kitchen supplies to cook with. This made it challenging for cooking with a large group. On a more positive note all the bed linens and towels were very clean. The beds were all super comfy and there was plenty of space to accommodate a large number of people comfortably.

Issues

There were a few issues we had with the rental place but it was a very nice home. First - the threat of the water being cut off if the bill was not paid in 1 hour. We called immediately and no one answered for 15 minutes using 3 different phones to call. Really stressful when they say you only get an hour or services will be shut off. Second - we were never told that we can only have the pool heated if we were staying 5 or more days. The hot tub should of been hot not cold. When we called to inquire we were told we couldn't pay to get it heated since our stay was less than 5 days. Third - our trash can lid would not open. I contacted maintenance several times and it still did not get resolved. We took pictures of damaged items and sent them over.

Disappointing

Lined up for pool was over charged. Told them I would take grill an no response. Emailed 4 times during stay to ask questions. NO REPLY at all. House was nice but cushions missing off back of the couch when there. Just disappointed. I didn’t even want to mark any stars for communication with owner but had to put something down.

We love the property and would rent this property again!

Only thing we would change is there were some guest at other houses that were very loud and very loud fire works way into the morning like 3am which was very annoying and I would expect better given the nice neighborhood this, but I guess this is what you get when you have some owners that just want the mortgage and or profit from their property as vacation homes here. Everything else was very nice! Overall we love our property! David and Tijna Galloway
