This is our second stay at this property. We stay in a lot of vacation rentals but have never experienced one with the attention to detail of this one. The entire home is beautiful, and things like china and cut crystal put it a step above the norm. One of my favorite details is the collection of animals hidden throughout the house. Birds, butterflies, a fox, a hedge hog and other little creatures peak out from behind furniture and around corners. It becomes a game to find them all. And the fact that a place this nice is also pet friendly is very uncommon. We will always check availability of this property first when we visit Sebastopol.

When I saw this listing, I knew it would be perfect for my partner’s surprise weekend birthday trip, and I wasn't wrong, she loved it!The space is amazing; the main level is so inviting and comfortable. The tall double doors that open up to the garden sitting area are fantastic and bring the garden into the room.The loft is dominated by the wonderfully comfortable sleigh bed you just melt into; we didn’t want to get out the next morning after a great nights sleep.The decor is perfect; we had fun noticing all the images of different animals sprinkled throughout the house just waiting for you to find them (look high and low!), as well as the wonderful artwork.This is a 10/10 stay, you won’t be disappointed!We will definitely book again when we are in the area.

Perfect Stay in Sonoma Wine Country

My wife and I very much enjoyed our 2 night stay. Property was beautifully appointed, well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood close to restaurants, stores and the Barlow. Communications with owner and check-in/check-out process were effortless. We really loved it and would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic vibe

My wife and I enjoyed what felt like a little slice of New Orleans/Anne Rice novel meets luxury bathroom and quaint appointments. Loved the place. Easy walk to downtown, plenty of privacy, and we look forward to a return visit.

Perfect place for your Sebastopol stay!

This is a great property in the heart of Sebastopol. Really lovely and thoughtful owners; a very nicely equipped loft; beautifully maintained; and within easy walking distance to downtown. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

An absolute gem of a property in Sebastopol that makes a perfect jumping off point for exploring the town and all of Sonoma county: 20 minutes to Bodega Bay, 30 minutes to Healdsburg, 50 minutes to Sonoma. And if you're not afraid of a little walking, a 15-minute walk will get you to downtown and the Barlow. (And if it's dark when it's time to go home, it's a 3-minute, 7 Uber ride back.) The house itself is impeccable and looks like something from a design magazine. Beautifully appointed, top-end appliances, big shower/bath area. And for those who worry about it, there is A/C and heat via a mini-split. The bed is super comfortable as well. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and were also extremely respectful of privacy. Check-in and check-out were an absolute breeze -- and there was no crazy list of chores to complete before checking out, which is always appreciated. Next time we're back in the area, definitely staying here.

The loft was exactly as shown. This was probably the most well stocked and thoughtfully equipped VRBO we've ever stayed in. It's an easy walk to and from downtown and The Barlow. We actually added an additional day, and we will definitely be back next time we visit Sebastopol.

Beautiful loft in a secluded neighborhood

We stayed a couple of nights for a friend's wedding. Perfect space for a short stay. Beautifully appointed, comfortable space. So quiet and private. Hosts were always responsive to any questions or needs. Highly recommend!

Cute, cozy, walkable to down town

This is a nicely finished property. The interior is very tastefully decorated, small, but more than adequate for a couple. Amazingly comfortable king sized bed with high quality linens. The neighborhood was very quiet, and it's easily walkable to downtown Sebastopol: main street, the Barlow, others. We enjoyed our stay here.

This property was beautiful and romantic and had all the Moody character you could want in a quaint loft. The gardens were beautiful even for September, and I'm sure they're magnificent in the spring. The hosts went above and beyond what anyone should expect. They're truly lovely. The neighborhood is extremely walkable. And The loft itself is comfortable and beautifully appointed with gorgeous art and unique photography.

Well designed space and very comfortable...

This accommodation had everything one could want except a microwave. The stairs to the loft are very comfortable and make for an easy up and down as the bath is on the first floor. The shower is great!

Quaint, cozy & charming

Beautiful one bedroom (upstairs), immaculatly furnished & decorated. Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood about 1/2 mile from town. Downstairs has a small well-appointed kitchen, beautiful bath, and comfy living room. The couch turns into a very comfortable bed, necessary for my husband and myself; the stairs to the bed were too steep for old folks to use on a late nite bathroom run. Great place.

Wedding Weekend

Our hosts were super gracious! Allowing us to check in early. AND also to have a few extra guests to the property for a few hours as we were getting married and needed to take pictures and get ready. The photographer and guest kept accidentally ringing the doorbell of the main house and they were always very friendly and accommodating. The property was so much more than it shows in the pictures. I have stayed in several rentals and this is in my top three. It’s such a darling place. And very close to downtown. Thank you so much!

The place is beautiful. However, the hosts are not. Not only did they falsely accuse me of stealing a remote control and insist I pay for it (spoiler alert, they found it) they also berated me because they had to steam clean the carpets and wash an entry rug after my dog had an accident (that I cleaned up by the way and also paid an additional 75 dollars for. That was in addition to the original 90 “pet fee” I paid) Like, shouldn’t they be steam cleaning the carpet and washing the entry rugs after any person stays there with a pet? Haven’t they heard of fleas? Also, the “private garden” is neither private nor an actual garden. More like a small, semi- enclosed courtyard. Again, the actual life is lovely but the hosts are terrible…

It’s unfortunate Celly had this experience with us at our loft. We would like to clarify what actually took place since this misrepresents the facts. Celly told us a day before arrival that she would be bringing her “well behaved dog” like most/all other host we have a pet fee that covers the usual extra cleaning that comes with pets. Come to find out she brought two dogs which is fine because we don’t have restrictions and don’t charge pet fee per pet. Unfortunately it seemed like one of the dogs had diarrhea upstairs on carpet. Again not a problem we as pet owners understand accidents happen but this was ALL over more then 10 different spots at least, although she wiped it up, residue was left behind everywhere and smelled really really bad (Celly was aware of the amount of poop smudge everywhere) I contacted her and let her know about the spots, smell and informed her we would have appreciated knowing about this prior to us being overwhelmed with the reality of the situation. We carpet cleaned to resolve the issue but informed her there would be an extra charge for the extra clean up. On top of the poop upstairs her pets also liked marking there was pee spots on the kitchen cabinets as well. We have hosted a lot of guest/pets at our loft but never like her, we do all cleaning. We apologized about the remote but never accused her of stealing. Our add mentions the patio is private, which it is but not fenced. Sometimes as host you get guest like Celly it’s unfortunate!
