We enjoyed the rental. It was clean, well maintained, and had nice amenities. The pool was nice and the access to the beach was perfect. We really enjoyed staying here and would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: great location, away from the busy south Kihei, quiet sugar beach area with few people, can snorkel close to the shore and see the shallow coral reef, and beautiful tropical fish. building is right on the beach, 20 feet away. no need to carry your personal stuff, beach chair, just walk straight into the water from your condo! free parking in the locked garage gives you extra security. easy access to the local roads, eatery, ABC stores, farmers market. Sherry is very helpful in setting up the rental for us. the unit has partial ocean view. wooden floor makes the condo looking nice and tidy. kitchen has all things you need, just like at home. we will definitely stay here again.

Kitchen well stocked with tools/pots/cutlery/dishware etc. We had the beach to ourselves whenever we liked. The water is perfect for swimming; there is no coral to worry about stepping on. Perfect for goofing around in the water. We went to other places on the island to snorkel but that was no issue for us. Only downside for us was the distance from restaurants/pubs. If we didn't feel like cooking we had to drive. Would have preferred to have more within walking distance. Would return without question.

Location, Location, Location

We've been to Maui several times and this was our second time to Kihei. Lahaina is too busy for us, but a great day trip. We have also stayed in Kaanapali and Kapalua, but it's impossible to find a one or two bedroom on the beach within our price range. This was a girl trip with my mom and daughter. My mom is 82 and Hawaii was her 50th State visit. She spent hours on the deck watching the beach and watching us paddle board and swim. She has a walker and the she could easily get around. Our condo was comfortable and perfect for the three. There was a nice breeze so we never used the AC and enjoyed the fresh air. We ate at home for most of our meals and the kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. There are two grocery stores within 2-3 miles. We found hiking trails, restaurants, & great beaches near our condo. The resort next door rents paddle boards (but go early in the morning because it's too choppy in the afternoon). We also rented an umbrella for the week which we needed! I would recommend this location.

Another nice stay at Kealia Resort in 405

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this unit many times in the past. We like the location close to the beach and away from the commercial part of Kihei. The birds and waves are a sound we enjoy hearing 24/7 as we don't use the air conditioner so cannot comment on it.The unit was well stocked and the starter supplies great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had no issues while we were there. I was VERY happy to see the owners had finally put in a large cooler with 2 large ice packs to use for day trips. That was a great surprise. The description of the unit online needs to be updated as the owner has taken out the phone so there is no long distant calling to family to let you know you arrived or local calling to make inquiries or reservations during your stay. We will return to Kealia Resort as it is a relaxing place to unwind.

Great condo, beautiful beach

We had a great stay at the Kealia Resort in Maui. The instructions that we received for getting to our building and getting inside were great, and there was a parking garage and assigned space, which made having a rental car super easy. The condo building was generally quiet, though we could hear some beach and street noise with our windows open, but nothing preventing us from relaxing or sleeping. The sounds of the crashing waves were actually very nice at night. The bunkbeds in the unit were great for the kids, and the king size bed was close by so we could hear them and keep an eye on them. The unit itself was very clean, and there was a beautiful view of the beach and ocean from our lanai. There is a short, small beach right behind the building and we usually had that section to ourselves when playing in the sand. There were always people walking up and down the beach, but rarely anyone actually sitting anywhere near us in the sand. The building provided some sand toys near the washing station which was great for the kids since our individual unit didn't have any. The building was just a short drive from town, and from most things, which was nice, though it wasn't really walkable with two small children. Overall, it was really great and we highly recommend it.

The property is located right on the beach so you immediately relax as you get to soak in the beautiful sight of the ocean, wake up to the sound of the waves, and with a few steps out your condo door you are on the beach enjoying your day playing in the waves.The unit is perfect for our family with the king size bed and bunk beds. The unit is your home away from home as it is equipped with everything you need and is well maintained and very clean. The management is extremely helpful and keep the entire resort immaculate. Due to the resort being located in Kihei it is in the perfect location to easily access any part of the island; it is centrally located and thus easy to access all activities, restaurants, etc. Our trips to Maui staying at the Kealia Resort have been my family's best vacations and therefore I highly recommend this vacation rental. My parents and nephew also came with us one year and also immensely enjoyed their trip and we are already looking at coming back again next summer. Thank you for sharing your rental with us, we greatly appreciate it.

You can walk for miles up the white sand beach. Water in front of the condo is calm so swimming or boarding is great. The property was very clean and had recently been updated with new appliances and a king size bed. The manager, Sherry was great as she is very accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this property.
