You can’t beat the location of this space! The backyard area is beautiful and sitting around the fire pit with friends was great. The beds were not very comfortable though. Overall a great stay!

Close to great Sister Bay attractions, but a few blocks off the main street offering peace and quiet too. The home is very well equipped and clean. It was just right for three generations of our family. We would love to return one day.

Wonderful stay, great location

We have a wonderful girls getaway here! Lovely house, plenty of room to spread out. They offer lots of options to entertain you while there: patio, bikes, kayak, ect. So close to downtown Sister Bay and the beach. Great place to stay!

Fantastic stay! This property was so beautiful and thoughtfully laid out. And communication with the owner was always lightning-fast and helpful. The location of this property absolutely cannot be beat - easy walking distance to town but somehow extremely peaceful. A wonderful oasis!

We enjoyed staying at this tastefully updated home. The beds were comfortable & it had so many nice touches like a fire pit, bikes and lots of games! It was situated in a perfect location within walking distance to downtown Sister Bay!

Fall Stay in Sister Bay

Modern Dorr was a great location & provided roomy accommodations for our family of 4 during a recent fall stay in Sister Bay. Very clean, had everything we needed, lots of fun board games provided and a friendly and responsive host. Would highly recommend!

Excellent Accomodation For Our Family

We are 4 adults and two children, and this house suited us perfectly. Spacious, comfortable, modern kitchen and bathrooms. Lovely outdoor spaces, too. We loved it.

Great Family Getaway

From start to finish, Sarah made the process easy and stress free Modern Dorr was as advertised, neat, clean and talk about location! Great central location with a short drive to most activities and walking distance to downtown Sister Bay, the beach as well as coffee and restaurants. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Our Door County story began as young children when we would both take the scenic drive up Highway 42 from Green Bay with our families to camp, hike, bike, kayak, and explore the peninsula.

After meeting in 2010, we found out we not only shared a passion for food, travel, and adventure; but also Door County. After several years of vacationing together on the peninsula we make our dream a reality and purchased Modern Dörr Cottage. The name pays homage to Door County's Scandinavian influence and our love for Scandinavian modern design.

We are so happy to host you and share our love for Door County <3
