The bunkhouse and ranch were exactly as described and my stay was comfortable and quiet for the duration of my visit. My host CJ was accommodating to my changes in flights and arrival times and checked on me to ensure I had everything I needed to ensure I was comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Grove River accommodation to anyone wanting a relaxing and comfortable accommodation out of town yet remaining connected to local towns. 5 star rating to the ranch and the host and I look forward to returning again. Thanks for an amazing experience.

Unique Property

If you're looking for something outside of the ordinary hotel or rental, this beautiful property is it. Away from the crowds, my family enjoyed hiking, fishing, and seeing the beautiful horses. You can pay extra for a riding lesson, but we do that back home, so opted not to do it here. Super clean and well equipped/stocked. Owner is easy to communicate with, and was very accommodating to us.

There is so much competition in the vacation rental market, being unsual in a good way is a plus! We are fortunate to be able to offer amenities not commonly available to rentals. Cleanliness and easy communication should always be standards!

I am an owner of a VRBO listing and I am very picky. I read the last review, and decided I wanted an experience more than just a boring hotel, or a cabin. This ranch was awesome! CJ, was a wonderful host! The rules are funny, but very laid back, but read them. They make sense. The property was to die for. If you want peace and quiet this is it! We walked the trails, played with horses, and watch the sunset. You could even take lessons or do a trail ride. The bunk house had everything, and was comfortable with a kitchen, living room, full bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. The bunk house is beside the stable, and occasionally you heard the neigh from a beautiful horse, but it was delightful. The trails were fun to walk, and we walked to the river. It is a working ranch, but everyone was busy, and we pretty much had the ranch to ourselves. There was a cabin, that overlooked a pond, and other sites, but they weren't near us. You could even camp! All and all I would say that this was an awesome experience and I would stay here again.

Thanksgiving escape

My wife and I have been through some traumatic experiences this year and wanted to find a quite place where we could escape and be away from anyone and everyone. This was the place. The grounds are beautiful. The staff was more than helpful. The rental was comfortable. There was a wide array of hiking trails, a nice little fire pit, and even plenty of amenities around the area if we decided to drive around and go somewhere (or needed something we forgot). We had a great experience and look forward to going back and even taking some friends along next time.

Weekend Getaway with Sons!

We were looking for a place to stay as we had plans for fishing on Lake Lanier and golfing. The ranch worked well for us to relax and enjoy our time together.

Wish we could have explored the property more

Finding this property was a blessing. It is very clean, well kept, and comfortable. Having a full kitchen in both function and space was a great plus for us. CJ is very helpful and accommodating. This property is on a beautiful horse facility and we wish we could have explored it more. We will definitely be staying here if we come back to the area.

Beautiful Property

This property is beautiful and the owner is amazingly nice. The bunk house was cozy, smelled nice (and I only mention the smell in case you are concerned about that since the bunk house is actually part of the stables) but there was NO horse smell at all inside the rooms. And to be honest the outside is so well maintained I never really had issues at all with smell, inside or outside. There were several horse stabled there and a sweet cat as well. Got to say hello every morning to a horse directly outside of my door!! The property is amazingly impressive. Simply beautiful and perfectly maintained. It is clear the owner takes pride in the place. Pretty sure the stables are nicer then a lot of folks homes. Those horses are well taken care of. The owner is also very nice, quick to respond and answer questions and very helpful.

This is truly a unique rental that has always been appreciated by the equestrian visitors. Now it's rewarding to have the city folks appreciate it, not just the bunk house, but the surroundings. I hope she will visit again when the cabin is available and hopefully have time to hike the trails and see the scenic beauty she was unable to see the first time!
