Experience relaxation and comfort in our guest cottage situated in the heart of Baker City. This retreat is perfect for couples or a family of 4, promising a memorable stay.



Stretch out in our single-level, aesthetically pleasing one-bedroom space that ensures your privacy with a comfortable queen-sized bed. Unwind in the comfort of the living area that houses a twin bed with a twin trundle perfect for children or additional guests.



Indulge your culinary creativity in our small, yet fully equipped kitchen that includes a refrigerator, oven, microwave, along with all necessary baking supplies and utensils. For an enhanced dining experience, you can either dine indoors at the table for two, or revel in the fresh air on the private outdoor patio.



Enjoy exceptional outdoor amenities that include a BBQ Traeger, outdoor kitchen, a seating area, and a fire pit. The entertainment space is a shared with the guests from the main house, perfect for mingling with those guests if the main house is occupied.



Treat yourself to relaxation in our recently installed aspen cedar sauna complete with a top-notch sound system. After a long day of exploration, ease your muscles and mind in our jetted Jacuzzi tub with access to a separate toilet room.



Relax and stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi and a superior sound system throughout the property. Nearby attractions include Main Street - a short 10 block stroll away, and numerous places to explore within a 45 minute drive.



***We’re happy to try to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests whenever possible. Please note that approval depends on our cleaning team’s schedule, as we want to ensure the property is fully prepared for every guest.

If approved, there will be an additional charge of $20 per hour for either early check-in or late check-out. For approval, please inquire with your host.***

Baker City served as a great base camp for us to ski at Anthony Lakes, and this was a lovely home on a dead end street so was very quiet. After a day of skiing, having Barley Brown's in town was very convenient! :)Also, the hosts were incredibly responsive during our stay. We had an issue with the lock code on the door so I called the host, Blake answered on the first ring and in about 2 seconds, we were inside. Sauna was also wonderful, and we had everything we needed in the home. Thanks Blake and Jason!

Perfect place

Cozy comfortable and the fresh baked bread was such a nice touch to come home to. Had a blast at Anthony Lakes. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again.

High value rental with excellent amenities, location and accommodations

The weather was favorable, the fish at Philips Lake jumped on our lures often, the neighborhood was quiet, slept without issue. Baker City is an ideal stay over for multiple days if possible.

The property and cottage were absolutely beautiful and comfortable. There were so many home touches; extra blankets and pillows, wine and excellent coffee, a bread machine with a fresh loaf of bread with butter, a comfortable couch, and a large TV. The sauna was wonderful.

Love Baker City

Spent three days at the Claim Jumper cottagewith my daughter and two grandchildren. The property was perfect. The kids played in the private and beautiful backyard and the cottage was lovely and clean. We had a wonderful time visiting friends and enjoying the town.

Cute & Comfy Cottage

Both homes on this property are amazing and the common area in between is very fun and functional. The sauna in the cottage was great and the kitchen well designed for the small space. We plan to return and rent both homes when we have family in town.

We loved our stay here. Everything was great - fine attention to detail, and super comfortable. Everything we needed was readily available. Had excellent communications when we had a question, a fully appointed little cottage, and lots of little extra touches. Will definitely stay here again!!!

We’ll be Back!

We had a great time and it was the perfect size for a quick girls weekend. The back yard was amazing and perfect for a fun gathering as our days are getting warmer and lasting longer. The jetted tub was well used by myself as others enjoyed the sauna. Everything was clean, communication was great and we can’t wait to come back.

Holiday visit

We came into town late during a storm and parking and entry were so easily accessible. We were welcomed to a warm cabin, music and fresh baked bread. The space was clean with all amenities available and sauna and jacuzzi tub were very much enjoyed!

Short honeymoon getaway

It was quiet and peaceful, and for the first time ever I felt like I was in my own home. Comfortable beds smart tv with netflix and prime. The soaps were all good I usually use my own but no need there. Overall great experience would definitely stay again
