Luxury 7000 Sqft home on 2.5 acres land with sport court, swimming pool and ample out door space for walking and playing .
Outdoor suitable for families and more so with adolescents.

we are glad to get other families enjoy the space with some restrictions to area inside and outside the properties.

There are 3 rooms upstairs (1 master bedroom ,king size bed and regular shower , 2 regular room with queen size beds in 1 rooms and full size in the other both sharing common bathroom with shower) and another room with queen size bed in the basement with room and shower.

We are closed to restaurants, grocery, Movie theater etc, and less than 15 minutes to down town Raleigh amenities and RDU international airport.

Is a very quiet and family orientated neighborhood as will be expected from our guest.
We would not be around when guest are there but for security may ask a co-host to come by or we may do so if need be.

Our goal is for you and your family to have a memorable stay

We had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed all the amenities especially the pool and we appreciated its convenient proximity to downtown, parks, and restaurants, which made exploring the area easy. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and quiet place to stay. Beautiful home with elegant landscaping and a pool that is better than any local resort. The owner was very quick to respond and the house offered all of the comforts of home. This will be our new “go to” when we travel to Raleigh.

This is a great property for a getaway no need to go elsewhere if you want just peace and quiet. A bit of a distance to downtown and other activities and attractions.

Awesome pool

We got together with family and it was this perfect. It had everything we needed. The pool was awesome the basketball / hockey court was enjoyed by the kids. The property was clean and the grounds were maintained.

Perfect place for our stay

The house was in immaculate condition when we arrived. There was plenty of space to spread out and plenty to do indoor when the rains came. When the weather cleared up the pool was the perfect space to get away to. The owner was very responsive and pleasant to work with.

Amazing House

Pictures of the pool do not do it justice. The house is like your own private resort. Great pool, sport court, putting green and deer to watch in the woods visible from huge back windows. Wonderful week with the family.

We just left this amazing property and we had a wonderful time. Property was clean, spacious and fun! We had a little hiccup during the check in but Wilson fixed it very quickly and much appreciated. I would recommend this property.

Upon arrival we located the key pad and was able to get in. Unfortunately the alarm went off. We had to wait outside until they shut off the alarm.The temperature on the main floor was set to 81 with it being 95 outside we were sweating this was unreasonable. We asked the owner about it and the only response was that we were not permitted to touch it and we were responsible for any damage done to the unit. We then discovered the only tv that you could watch things on was the tv living room on main floor. The other rooms had tvs but you couldn’t do anything to watch tv on them. There was an unreasonable amount of light bulbs not working one being in the bathroom and to take a shower we had to use the phone flash light and walk through the hall way in the dark to the bathroom.We enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table and the pool area. How ever I DIDNT like there was cameras all on the back of the house facing back pool area. The second day of stay received a message from owner that they needed to come pick up a vehicle, they didn’t come until day 5 to get the vehicle. This I found to be unacceptable. The cleaning ladies showed up way early before our check out time.once we arrived back at home the owner sent a picture of broken concrete around the pool insinuating that we created the damage. Lucky I took pictures before we unloaded and after when we left so I proved it was there the first day we checked in.Property could be incredible but is not managed properly.

Amazing!

This place was absolutely amazing. The pool was to die for. The whole house was even better in person. Definitely the best place we have ever stayed and we have rented fancy houses before in other states. But this one was the best. By far. Wilson was the best!

Quick Spring Break Getaway

House was clean and exactly as advertised. Home is big with lots of features, could use better in-home instructions to help navigate but its nothing that couldn't be figured out with some effort. Overall a great experience and home. Highly recommend this property to any type of group looking in the Raleigh- Durham area.

Family fun!

Wilson’s property is better than the pictures! Our family had a wonderful and relaxing time. The pool is amazing and there are so many additional activities to do with the family. The neighborhood was quiet, and perfectly located close to restaurants and groceries. We were able to keep our pup loose within the fence without concern of him slipping through the bars. Wilson was quick to respond, and he was extremely helpful and accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again!

Escape from the rains of South Florida during online schooling

The property was actually nicer than advertised, and the owner of the property was very communicative about anything we wanted to discuss. The three of us had a wonderful time walking through the neighborhoods there, playing on the sport court and using the spa. Everything was great, and we look forward to visiting this property again sometime. Thank you, Wilson for sharing your wonderful house with us.

Luxurious stay for son's university graduation

Wilson is extremely professional and provided excellent communication. The home is a treasure to be found amongst other lovely family homes with restrictive HOA guidelines. Therefore, plan to enjoy this resort-style home within the stated guidelines and expectations. Absolutely gorgeous home, exquisitely decorated and amazing amenities to be added during your stay. It is always a pleasure staying in Wilson's fabulous home.

Great location but issues with property

Pool and hot tub not open and not communicated until day of visit. House not cleaned before including moldy dishes in dishwasher. Great property and location but disappointing experience.

Hot tub not mention as part of rental fee, separate if ever and demands prior arrangements for technical reason. I understand is challenging to read all those details but necessary to avoid disappointment which might easily ruin the whole stay and give a different impression of the place Thanks

Misleading

First of all an attempt was made by the owner to cancel a reservation made 6 months prior. Had we not filed a complaint with VRBO he may not have honored the reservation. Secondly it was not disclosed until we got there that the refrigerator didn’t work however there was one in the lower level. Lastly he attempted to make us pay for some kind of fancy espresso machine that we never used. Yard is nice but house needs to be managed better.

Luxurious House and Beautiful Property with Owner Who Tries Hard to Satisfy Guests

Newstead Manor is an upscale neighborhood in southwest Raleigh and this property does not disappoint. With satellite televisions in each major room, surround speakers, multiple gaming areas, several fireplaces, a spacious outdoor patio, and an impressively manicured yard, we were continually entertained and comforted. At the time of our stay (mid-spring), the weather was a variable mix of rain and sun, so most of our time was spent in the house. Nevertheless, had we desired to use the swimming pool, it was not in a functional state. The pool was overgrown with algae and needed cleaning before it could accommodate guests. This aspect was the greatest surprise considering one our initial expectations was that the pool would be useable upon arriving at the property. To the best of our knowledge, the property owner had requested a cleaning service, but the contracted party never arrived. Otherwise, the property owner was very responsive to our requests. He ensured that the satellite television was in proper working order and was also very helpful when our access code did not unlock the entrance to the house during the last night of our stay. Overall, we recommend this property to prospective guests.

Beautiful property but poorly maintained pool

One of the reasons for this booking was the pool however we did not feel comfortable using the pool. It appeared that the pool has not been serviced in months, sluge on the floor of the pool, no chlorine, and water bugs were actually living in the pool. The same was for the jacuzzi. They were like a pond. When I asked him about the cleaning he simply said it’s pollen. When I asked Wilson to turn on the pool waterfall and filtration system to help me clean the pool he responded that to have those items on was not advertised. Then he begin to talk me about the cost of running and repairing the system. Meaning he was not going to run the waterfall nor bubbles in the pool. However, this function is necessary in every pool to keep it clean and filtered out. The systems then began to come one randomly early morning and at night when no one was using the pool. I enjoyed the house some; but the pool and attempting to vacation locally was a mess. We left a day early.

Tonya Sorry you felt that way! The pool is cleaned weekly and has 24 hr running pump for a salt pool You rented at the peak of pollen ,End of March and 1st week of April with the tons trees and flowers in the yard and neighborhood . I said to you the last time I tried to program the pool I only created expensive damages, and I don’t want to ruin you vacation with pool repairs which seem to have been an ok response to you then. I never got the pool photos from you as requested by pool services. I might not have a response for claim of early departure except except for the fact that I contact you on your schedule departure day and none of that was mentioned . Even thou the request was out of what we offer as clearly stipulated on the platform, under pool, "no changes in sitting'' but I still tried to accommodate the request during a short 5 days weekend stay.

Amenities are awesome

The property had all the bells and whistles we were expecting, functionality of basement is brilliant. Kids, but mostly parents enjoyed the entertainment available. Salt water pool sooo refreshing and soft, thank you so much for the stay. Will definitely make another trip from DC for this property.

Five star property

Beautiful home and grounds; the pictures really don’t do it justice. It’s like having a resort to yourselves. Fabulous kitchen, lovely pool and grounds, great fitness options. Technical issues (e.g. speaker system for TV volume) perhaps a bit too complex for a vacation rental. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Sent oven mitts when we couldn’t find any and even bought a fitness bike in time for my husband to use it. All in all, we had a peaceful, lovely stay. Many thanks Wilson!
