SHORT VERSION: Large home with beautiful hardwood floors throughout. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with a laundry room. Spacious living area with wireless gigabit internet, TV, and streaming services for entertainment. A fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove and oven, a butcher block counter, and a dining area for 6. Large bedrooms offer private space for groups. Pets are always welcome at no additional charge and a cushy dog bed is located in the master bedroom. Nice porches and yards available in front and back for leisure and pets. Games and puzzles available for those nights you feel like staying in. Close to hiking, skiing, a very cool steam train, and all kinds of adventure!

DETAILS: The home is two stories with hardwood floors and beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. There is a master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath on the main level. We have placed a dog bed in the master bedroom, but it can be moved anywhere in the house. The second level has two bedrooms, also with queen beds, and a shared bathroom at the top of the stairs. Each bedroom has a spacious closet and dressers for clothes. There is a half bath off the hallway to the master that houses the washer and dryer. In the main living area, there is a dining table, fully equipped kitchen, and a living room with board games, a TV, sofa, and two chairs. As for the kitchen, it has a full set of pots and pans, flatware and place settings for 6, dishwasher, gas stove, a microwave, blender, kettle, and a coffeemaker. There is gigabit wifi throughout the house and the Blu-Ray player in the living room has apps for watching Netflix, Amazon Video, and other streaming services. The front and back porches have seating areas and are great for enjoying the mountain air or a nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate. The front and back yards are great for games or for playing with your pooch. All we ask is that you pick up after your dogs before you leave. Three off street parking spaces keep your vehicle from getting stuck in the slush in the winter months. The house is within walking distance of downtown. Georgetown is located just off of I-70 and is close to several ski resorts such as Loveland (12 miles / 15 minutes), Keystone (29 miles / 35 minutes), Arapahoe Basin (20 miles / 30 minutes), and Winter Park (30 miles / 45 minutes).

This precious home was everything we hoped it would be, AND MORE! We did not have a doggie companion with us for this visit, but seeing how wonderfully animal-friendly this home is made us happy. Their porch became my new happy place for the weekend. That is how you do a porch on a darling house, with a white picket fence, in the mountains! The house feels welcoming, cozy and super comfortable. It was clean and very well stocked from the bathrooms to the kitchen, with thoughtful extra touches everywhere. There is plenty of comfortable seating, both indoors and out. The deck and back yard are great spaces to settle in and relax. There is an overall sense of privacy no matter where you are, either in the inside or outside of this house. There is plenty of dedicated parking for this home. You get a full Aspen tree experience right here on the porch and on the deck. The soaker tub in the primary bathroom was a lovely surprise. We felt welcomed and hugged with love the moment we arrived. April was outstanding with communication! From start to finish this whole experience was an absolutely incredible one. We wholeheartedly THANK YOU again for our AWESOME VISIT!

Fantastic house. Enough room for a medium size gathering; cozy enough for just a couple. House was very clean. Front and back porches provide great views. Perfect location. Walking distance to both lake and historic downtown. And every restaurant in between. Great yard for dogs. Fully fenced with lots of running room.

Georgetown vacation house

This is our second stay in this house and we absolutely LOVE it! Perfect location (we have multiple friends within the block), easy walk to lake or downtown. Fenced in yard is perfect for our fur-babies. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. This house is also a great base for so many hiking, paddle boarding and sight seeing ventures! Looking forward to coming back again!

Your cottage is absolutely adorable. Loved all the Christmas decorations. It was perfect for our family of four. If we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely rent again.

Excellent Residence!!

There is more to this residence than meets the eye. We really enjoyed our stay. We were extremely comfortable. The residence is more spacious than the outside presents. The entire house was well stocked. The bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms made us extremely happy that we chose to stay here. The location was close to everything we needed. We have stayed at several residences over the years and this one is easily top three!!!

Great property and experience

We had a great 5 days at the property. It is in a convenient location, really well stocked and cozy. Easy walk into town and also to the small Georgetown lakes. Great communication- appreciate the quick responses to our questions. Overall a great stay!

Excellent place to stay

This property is a true gem. It is beautiful inside and out. All of the furnishings are new and very clean. The picture actually makes it look smaller than it is. The rooms are very spacious and lot of privacy in the house. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking of visiting Georgetown.or the nearby area.

Long Weekend

Highly enjoyed our stay at this home. The small town is very walkable from the property and has many dining options. The location to outdoor activities is perfect for all seasons of the year! The fenced yard and town dog park complement the dog-friendly vibe. We will be back!

Triple Bypass Bike Ride Stay

Family getaway

This home and location provided the perfect setting for a long weekend. The home was immaculate and spacious with a very well-stocked kitchen. We appreciated the fenced in yard giving a safe space for our dog. With a beautiful mountain view, we especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. We would gladly return to Georgetown and this cozy mountain home.

Great place to stay!

My two kids and I stayed here for a short ski trip to Loveland. The house had everything we needed and more! Easy to find, plenty of room for everyone, a great fully stocked kitchen... We had no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend the house and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fall Getaway

My sister and I took our fur babies on their first vacation and we all had such a great time. This is a beautiful house and is exactly as described. April has thought of everything from kitchen, laundry, and bathroom supplies to even blankets for people and fur babies. It's in a great location. Close to the lake and downtown Georgetown. About 15 mins to Idaho Springs and 25-30 mins to Silverthorne. The kitchen was perfect. I like to cook a few dishes that we can easily reheat when we come back at the end of the day and this kitchen had everything I needed and then some. We loved sitting on the front porch looking at the mountain. At least 2 afternoon/evenings there were multiple deer in the neighbor's yards that we watched. Our dogs loved the yard so they could have a safe space to run and play without their leashes. Thank you April for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We hope we have a chance to stay there again soo.

Georgetown Thanksgiving

Our family of 6 adults and a couple dogs had the best Thanksgiving in this Georgetown gem! The home is beautifully maintained, the bedrooms so spacious and comfortable, and the living area was perfect for board games, puzzles and watching football and movies. We loved being able to walk to the dog park, lake, and shopping downtown. The fenced in yard was a bonus and the kitchen well equipped. We all agreed that this is a home we would stay in again.
