Overall the place was a nice home base for our trip to Georgetown for some mountain hiking. Everything was great except it was difficult to find the exact apartment when we arrived and the place was a bit smelly (like a basement). Not sure if it was the plug-in scent in the hallway or something else, but we needed to open up the windows and patio door to air the place out.

Absolutely loved staying here. We were right next to the creek which I enjoyed sitting by at all times of the day. Within walking distance to easy and moderate hiking trails. Also many other beautiful trails within driving range. Within walking distance to the brewery and convenience stores while staying just far enough away to remain quiet from the downtown area. Highly recommend checking out the Guenalla pass as it is a stunning drive with hiking trails and campsites close by. Great price for the location, looking forward to staying here in the future

Very clean and beds were comfortable! Easy parking and great location for hiking Grays/Torreys and Mt. Bierstadt. The town is walkable and several places to eat. The host was quick to respond to questions I had prior to arrival. We enjoyed our stay here.

The place was clean, comfortable, loaded with all that you need, including a ton of board games. Instructions were spot on. Host communicated the details required well in advance and kept in touch through the stay to answer questions.

The host was one of the best I've run across--very helpful and flexible with some special requests. The space itself was perfect for us: clean, nice modern kitchen and bath, comfortable furniture. The house/condo/apt itself is small, but slept all of us--6 friends on a budget. It's clean, maintained, lots of linens, all the needs met. It's low on windows (keeping the price down), but the outdoors is right there.Location was great. We appreciated the immediately accessible interesting walks. Epic hikes with a little driving.It's right on a trail around a little creek and lake (not isolated because the "town" is right on a 2-lane hwy through a semi-narrow valley, but also not overly populated, and the hwy is not a constant presence). So there's a nice walk around the lake, an official mountain-goat-sighting station with binoculars, and spur trails on to the cross-hill trail that offers elevated views and leads to the town and beyond. The lake is cold (perfect for cold-emersion), popular for fishing off the many public docks (it gets deep fast), and kid-level boating. There's a restaurant nearby with lakeside-seating and built-in childcare (the little beach right there). Utterly perfect for families with kids!The local town has quaint stuff to check out, mountain-tourist style, with old-school ice cream, a cute bookstore, curio shop, etc.Will stay again!

From getting our 50 days a season on the slopes, hiking and mountain biking in the summer and just enjoying the crisp mountain air. We fell in love with the small town feel of Georgetown.
