Perfect size home

This house was the perfect size, small property but a nice deck out back to relax on. Inside was clean, roomy and just the perfect place to relax after a day of roaming Oak Bluffs. It's a 2 minute drive to town or a 15 minute walk which was easy. All in all, I would stay here every visit if I could. Enjoy!

really nice little cottage

Stayed here for work. Very comfortable cottage. Reasonable(30min) walk, or short bike ride(5-10min) to Oak Harbor. Home was clean and neat. Only reason for 4 not 5 star was that A/C was advertised but they were window units and were not installed. Temps were fine without, it was great to hear the birds sing.

MV Weekend Get-away

Upon entering the property, everything was very clean and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It felt like home. We would definitely book this property again.

Cozy, clean, comfortable and convenient!

This right sized property is located in oak bluffs on mothers vineyard. Just a very short drive to downtown. All the conveniences, very very clean. We were quite comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Great value.

Great location. Very limited supply of paper towel and toilet paper for a family of 4, 5-day stay. Smelled weed when checking in on 1st day.

Disappointing House smells of cat pee, had to open windows and close door to the bedroom where the smell was coming from. A cleaning person was sent but was unable to get the smell out. There were a lot of different kinds of bugs - 2 of which I believe were cockroaches. I have photos. The back deck furniture and grill were filthy and not usable - again - have photos. This was the worst vacation week we have ever had on the Vineyard and we come every year. We paid a lot of money for this substandard house. The cable and internet did not work when we arrived and someone did come 24 hours later and fixed it.I have asked for some sort of compensation for our bad experience at this house but to no avail.

Over priced

We have been staying here for 6 years but it has become very expensive for what it is. The location is great, easy walking distance to oak bluffs. We did see skunks under the front deck numerous times which made us not want to be outside in the evening, even before dark.

Everything was very neat and tidy, it was clean, the condition of everything was truly quite nice, I really enjoyed my stay. They should update their lock and key mechanism though, it was a little difficult to maintain the property keys and enter the home, also I did notice there was an ant problem, I would return to a drink i left on the counter for only a few moments to see littel ants around it trying to get a taste...it was unpleasing..though its not the biggest issue in the world but just something that I wish wasnt there. Minus the ants it was an excellent stay, very comfy, very warm, i will likely come back to this exact spot again.

Not a bad stay but old and somewhat dirty couches in living room and there was an ant infestation in the kitchen so we really didn’t use it. Luckily we were here for a wedding so we were gone a lot. It was expensive for what we got.

There is clearly no care for safety/sanitation on this property. The stove top element do not work as they should, turning a typical one hour cook time into 3 1/2 hours. One of the only two large pots provided was rusted on the inside and trying to boil 8 quarts of water on the largest stove top element was frivelous. The grill was the filthiest and most hazardous grill I've ever HAD to use to cook a meal. The rear storm door was in such dis-repair it was hazardous and made it a chore to keep bugs out of the home. In the room with the bunk beds, the window latch was broken with a sharp edge and the roller shade looked like it was about to come out of the wall. The water pressure in the tub/shower is great, but the shower handle gushes out water. Lots of time had to be spent to figure out how to efficiently operate either of the televisions with the remotes and appartlety the hardwired ethernet failed after the first night. Couldn't any time enjoying the outdoors around the property because it was the most unkept yard/trees/bushes on the street, the deck was filthy, there were mutiple dangerous hidden trip hazards, old piles of leaves/trash around the entire perimeter, and a thorn bush at the driveway that was dangerous. What a herendous vacation this all created for my family and me.

Simple and sufficient

This property is definitely nothing fancy, but we enjoyed our time there with our three tween/teen daughters, and found it met our needs and budget! Very easy to drive in/out of Circuit Ave, and possible to ride bikes in/out if you wanted to. The bunk beds were not the best, but would be fine for younger kids. (We submitted feedback to the owner that you cannot safely use the ceiling fan with someone in the upper bunk.) We did sleep with bedroom doors open and two window a/cs running to sleep comfortably at night. Please note that there is not a dishwasher here, despite the photos showing one in the kitchen.

Three Sister Annual Adventure

Despite the deficiencies we had a great time. When I first approached the property I almost turned away. The grass was so long and the flower beds so over grown (fear of ticks in the grass). I thought I had the wrong house. I called VACASA that night and the lawn got trimmed. We were told the main entry was in the back but there was no path to the back door and the back porch was unwelcoming. There were no directions on the use of the Portable dishwasher or grill (I tried turning on the gas and push starter). There was no information about the area sights or activities. I know it is the first of the season but the house could have been aired out.

Potential...

Dishwasher is portable. Very dirty inside when we arrived. Couldn't figure out how to hook up to kitchen sink faucet. No instructions left for guests. Never used and had to wash dishes by hand. Gas grill did not work -wire hanging when we arrived. No grilling for us. Both air conditions need to have filters clean; smoke detector went off in the middle of the night for no reason. Guessing batteries need changing. Dryer took excessive time to dry despite a clean filter. Guessing vent needs to be blown out for safety.

Great MV home!!

Great MV style home in OB. Loved the closeness within in home and to the shops, restaurants, parks, and beach. Home came equipped with everything, a plus with young kids. They enjoyed the hidden toy chest. Mom was happy with all the kitchen items necessary for quick meals. Tiny ants (maybe 4 total) near the window near the kitchen, but it wasn’t an issue. AC into in living soon could be changed since it looked like mold growth inside with some fruit flys coming in, but that didn’t stop the fun for the week. I would recommend moving the large AC unit to the living room and maybe a 5,000btu in the bedroom since it was super cold. The home gets cold fast with one AC, and added ceiling fans in each room are enough for the coolness of the house as it’s so close to the beach. We used the back patio and front, which were a bonus. An outdoor shower or working hose for post beach would be a plus. The home is large with layout and could hold 8 or 10 small kiddos. You won’t regret it; a must rent!

Cute property, but their rake hike was pretty terrible

Spent the weekend after labor day here the last two summers. House is cute. Beds aren't the most comfortable. We actually brought a pad for one of them and an air mattress this year. We walked back and forth to Circuit Ave, takes about 10mins. Disappointed that when we went to rebook they hiked the rates for the same stay.

Great with a few exceptions

Great with a few exceptions: plastic shower curtain was not clean (mold spots); we had issues with the key and no one reached out. There needs to be 2 keys on property. The trees in front of the home need trimming to allow better space for 2 cars to park in the small space. Despite these minor issues, we will be returning.
