Great view, the house was well stocked with just about everything you could need for your stay.

The property had easy access to your boat for leaving on water. The view was amazing. House was perfect size for our family. Would def stay here again!

Cozy House on River

Nicely appointed house. River was serene and beautiful. One neighbor a few houses down was a bit loud, but an otherwise tranquil location. Nice getaway.

Home away from home

Pulling up to check in with 2 hours until sunset was probably some of the best first impressions. The kids couldn't wait to run to the pier and check out the well-built prefab dock. Enter rear at that point to a wonderful wrap around deck with . Will stay here again.

Beautiful getaway!

Great communication with owner. She was super helpful and kind. We loved the space the house offers along with an amazing view! Great parking if you have multiple vehicles. Will definitely be back again.

A great place

The house was well equipped and worked well for 5 adults and 5 kids. The neighbor was awesome and loaned us his lily pad! We had a great time! Hour and forty-five minute drive for a day at the beach was worth it!

Gorgeous views

Pictures do not do this property justice! Despite traveling there on a cold weekend in February, we were drawn to the porch and lookout to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. The house was exceptionally clean and very well accommodated. It “blew us away!”

Great stay!

This house was perfect. The location was only a few mins from Belhaven but nice and quiet, right on the water. The house was very comfortable and clean. We didnt realize that the upstairs master was open somewhat to downstairs (no door from staircase) but it actually worked great for us. There was plenty of privacy and our family moving around downstairs didnt wake up our 10 month old. Would definitely stay here again.

Best Porch Ever

Wonderful home! Our party of 7 would definitely return. The large, completely screened porch was perfect for chatting, listening to the birds, hearing the sounds of the water, and watching the fish jump. The house was spotless, warm, and inviting. Thank you for an incredible stay!

We were blown away!

My husband and I along with all of our kids had a wonderful stay at your house! We caught tons of crabs and fish off the back dock. We brought with us big tubes and the kids floated in the river. A few of the days we took the drive over to nags head beach. Over all the house was perfect with tons of memories made.

Absolutely perfect

This beautiful house is in a great location. Size is perfect for multiple family members to have their own space. The back screened in porch was enjoyed for hours every day. Having the convenience of a boat lift allowed us to keep the boat close and readily available. The property owner is very responsive and accommodating! I cannot say enough good things about this property and the property owner!

Relaxing waterfront retreat

Our family had a great time at “Blown Away”! The property was exactly as it was advertised, the host was immediately responsive to our questions about Belhaven and the surrounding area and the views of the water were stunning! We saw dolphins swimming in the river in the mornings, and it was so dark at night I saw the Milky Way! My daughter and I did have a brief encounter with some jellyfish while swimming but that was not unexpected. We all loved the house and would definitely stay here again!

Charming Cottage

We loved our stay at the "Blown Away" cottage! We were in town for a wedding and, unfortunately, Ophelia decided to complicate things. We rode out the storm in the cottage and enjoyed family time playing games and cooking on the gas stove. The owners were super responsive and helpful! Our stay was comfy and overall pleasant. We will stay there again if our travels lead us back to Belhaven. :)

True relaxation

Thank you for sharing your rental with us, it was a perfect relaxing vacation away from the busy work life. We all had a chance to put life on hold and make some family memories enjoying what is truly most important in life...our loved ones. Your home allowed each of us our own space but still plenty of room to gather together. We caught a few crab,some fish, my son in law caught a sting ray, mother in law caught an eel and something snapped my line. We were truly "Blown Away"

Beautiful, relaxing home on the river

This property was absolutely perfect for what we needed. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and this house was conveniently close to our venue. The home was spacious enough for us to have some of our family also join us. My only complaint was that we were so busy with wedding festivities that we didn’t get to really enjoy the lovely porch and property. I’ll be keeping this house in mind for future trips. The owner is also very accommodating and super easy to communicate with. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We really enjoyed our time there.

Quiet home away from home.

The house was very well kept with a beautiful view of the water. We were very happy to see that the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and spices. This helped us feel right at home with breakfast and dinner every night. We fished the dock for two days and ended up with 4 Red drum, 2 Flounder, 15 Trout, and 5 blue crabs. With the historic town of Bath not far away and Washington (NC) less than an hour away, there’s plenty to do in the surrounding areas but the house is just far enough away from all of the noise that it’s perfect for winding down after a busy day.

Nice and Relaxing

The house was beautiful and very cozy. Very clean and had all the basics. The use of water toys was a bonus. The dock is new and a true asset. Saw dolphins everyday! Very quiet and relaxing neighborhood. Just what we needed!
