Screened porch, with view of big water, perfect spot for that morning coffee, either around the porch table or on the porch swing. Short walk to park, shopping and restaurants. Swimming, fishing, crabbing, boating, kayaking, and more at your front door. Located next to the River Forest Manor and Marina. Watch the big boats coming in for the night off the Intracoastal Waterway. And the sunsets are amazing!
Note: Between the home and the water/dock is a quiet residential street , Water Street
The Space
This 1910 style Farmhouse, located on the waterfront in historic Belhaven, NC is the perfect Haven for guests. Large home with plenty of room for everyone to spread out, including two living rooms, both with TV. One living room has a brand new queen sleeper couch Other one features a 85inch 4K Samsung TV. Open concept kitchen and dining area with room for all at the table. Water views from every room. Peaceful and serene.

Other things to note
Highly recommend bringing "water shoes" as the swimming will be in the river.

On the property Sits a very old structure that was once used as a Chicken Coop. Now inside the "Coop" you will find games and chairs for your pleasure, including Croquette, Bocce Ball, Horse Shoes, Chairs for the dock, Noodles and more.

Also, please be aware that the kayaks being stored in the back yard are NOT for Guests. There is a kayak rental company in Washington, River Vibe, that will even bring the kayaks to you. Also Dowry Creek Marina, located close by, rents kayaks .

No Smoking and No Pets please

Please Note: The boat lift is not available for guests to use. However, there is a very nice boat ramp on the same street as the home and guests may tie their boat up to our dock.
One boat please. Boat trailer can be parked in the backyard if necessary

Loved The Haven and the beautiful water views!

We had a wonderful time in the tranquil town of Belhaven and loved the house! The house’s decor was very tasteful and had beautiful views from most of the rooms. We also enjoyed the dock and the great sunsets. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Place

We love staying here. Such a cute house with so much charm. You can walk to restaurants and stores. Great for fishing and boating too or just relaxing.

Booked for 3 nights due to having our daughter’s wedding just down the street at River Forest Manor. Would definitely return.

Excellent

I and three friends had an excellent stay. The location and dock access were fantastic. We loved the home. Bellhaven is one of the most beautiful towns in NC and this is a fantastic property to stay at.

This property was everything I had hoped for! A very lovely and spacious home, with many amenities. We were in Belhaven for a family funeral; however, we were able to relax (especially in the Adirondack chairs on the waterfront)! The host was extremely easy to work with and promptly answered all of my questions very calmly! We would definitely stay at the Haven again!

Simply The Best

Absolutely the best place we have ever stayed with VRBO. From the moment we entered the house, we knew we were going to experience something very special. Every detail was taken care of. Our family had such a great time chatting on the porch, fishing, crabbing, and eating in the large dining room. We hope to be back again.

What a picture perfect home and location. We brought our boat and tied up to the personal dock. Great time on the water. Nothing beats parking your car for the weekend and walking to everything we wanted to do. The house itself is stocked with everything you need to feel at home. Fully stocked kitchen and every bedroom had its own charm and comfort. Donna (Host) is very fast with communication and so helpful. Every room had cute special instructions to help out. Remote control access, where to put decorative throw pillows and all the things you need to shower and dry your hair. Can not say enough great things about it. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The home was exactly as described in the listing, very clean, and comfortably furnished, with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee pods, fresh eggs, milk and other nice touches. The beds were comfortable, and common areas gave us plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our time together. Beautiful views of the river from the chairs across the street and access to the well maintained dock.Check‑in and check‑out were simple, and communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. Any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly, and it was obvious that the owners take pride in keeping the place well maintained. The neighborhood was safe and quiet, but we were still just a short drive or walk from restaurants downtown. Highlights for us were nice little touches of everything you would expect in a Bed & Breakfast. Parking was convenient and Wi‑Fi worked reliably.Overall, we would happily stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, well‑kept vacation rental in the area. Thank you for a great stay!
