The lake view from the water-front deck and casual living room is the showstopper. It is nice everything is on one floor and is a great space for a relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at this beachfront property. The home was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy our time together. The location was perfect, with beautiful Lake Erie views and easy beach access just steps away. What really stood out was the outstanding communication from the owner. They were responsive, helpful, and made the entire process seamless from booking through checkout. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here again!

I stayed in early June. Ken is a great host. The weather was perfect with a little welcomed rain. The cottage is large and cool. Very clean. Everything I needed was there. Water was swimmable. Dogs being welcome was a huge plus. I felt very safe with other people being around.

The host is very nice & quick to respond. The house was clean & extremely spacious, the pictures don’t do any justice. It’s a beautiful property & a great location. The kitchen was very well stocked with all types of cookware, utensils & appliances! We stayed during the winter & can’t wait to book again for the warmer months!

Perfect Vacation Spot

Family loved the beach right out the back door. Beautiful sunsets, wonderful sandy beach area, back seating area to enjoy watching the kids play. House was much nicer than the photos and more roomy than we anticipated. We enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. Hoping to come back next year.

Angola on the Lake

Ken was an awesome host. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house is a stone's throw away from the water, which was exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, well maintained property right on Lake Erie. Amazing living room with a fireplace that we spent absolutely no time in because we couldn't get away from the deck and enclosed patio with bar with great views. Got to meet the owner...good dude. We will be back.

The property had plenty of space. We had the entire first floor - Dining room, living room, den, 2 bathroom, en-suite, TV in all the rooms. I felt owners took the time to make sure guests were comfortable. I like the simple and cottage feel of this place. I didn’t realize there are long term tenants living upstairs on the second floor. Overall, I feel the place was lovely and the hosts was considerate.

Great Location and Outdoor Space

The location was great as is the access to the beach. We loved sitting out on the back deck/patio watching the sunset. Our teenagers had a great time in the lake and fishing close by. The house is dated and could use more sleeping space but then it would probably cost a whole lot more because of the location so the value was good. It was everything needed for a beach house. The owners were very responsive.

Everything was just as listed but even better in person. Photos don't do justice to the charm and beauty of the whole place. So many friendly people living nearby, including Ken! Getting the history of the house was fascinating. We had very minor questions and Ken took care of them quickly as he was next door. He was extremely respectful of our privacy! We rarely saw him. The upstairs tenants were very respectful too. The place was very well kept with working necessities. All furniture was comfortable and clean. If it had rained 24/7 we would have been fine staying inside and going to the many restaurants and stores within a few minutes drive. (Rainstorms make for super beach combing after!) We cooked a few meals there with the nicely stocked kitchen utensils. The best part was the lake! Not a good place for beach glass at the time of our visit but the driftwood was outstanding!!! My hubby says I brought all the driftwood home! LOL, nope, plenty left and loved watching plenty more arrive via lake wave delivery! The beach is nice and sandy, not rocky. Always bring light jackets, the wind off the lake is chilly. And sunscreen when it feels great 'cuz the nice wind keeps you from feeling the burn. Driftwood campfires on the beach, ultimate relaxation. If you want a campfire longer than a couple hours, grab some firewood before you arrive.Thank you, Ken, for offering up your place to rent so we could enjoy lake life for a while!

Das Haus ist halt schon alt, insb die Elektronik ist abenteuerlich.Aber es war alles ordentlich, der Vermieter war äußerst zuvorkommend.Das Haus liegt unmittelbar am See, toll.Der See war stark mit Algen belastet.Was mir nicht klar war: Wir hatten das ganze Erdgeschoss für uns, aber über uns wohnten mehrere Dauermieter.Insgesamt haben wir uns wohlgefühlt.

This was our family home, my father passed away a couple of years ago and we are trying to keep the home in the family. My mom and dad raised eight kids in this home. The location can’t get any better for Western NY! Fantastic sunrises and sunsets! Great beach with close proximity to bars, restaurants and town park.
