This truly was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. It was clean and had a beautiful view of the beach and morning sunrises. The host was easy to work with and responded quickly to my messages. The room had many little extras that we were not expecting, such as snacks, boogie boards, beach chairs, clips to hold our beach towels and coffee and tea for the morning. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay at Daytona Beach.

Would have had a great view if the windows were clean. Smells very musty and funky. Unable to get rid of smell and could not entertain company due to guest being unable to stand the smell. We were there a very short time. Otherwise if we contacted the host she may have tried to correct it. Also the AC unit is right next to the side of the bed. Close to floor blowing air directly on the person. Not an upgraded wall unit. Also the unit itself seems outdated. Would stay again if smell was gone and unit was a lower rate.

I appreciate your feedback and will take action on the items I can improve. This review is my first experience receiving comments about musty or funky smells in years of hosting this property. I have not experienced them myself or received any comments about smells in hundreds of reviews of the property. I deep-clean between each guest and pride myself on guest satisfaction and the best possible presentation. The AC unit is an in-wall packaged terminal air conditioner, typically found in ocean resort rooms and hotels. Please look over the many other reviews the property has received over the years, including a 10.0 out of 10.0 overall rating on VRBO, when making your decision to book our little Overlook studio retreat.

Wonderful property!

Our stay, while short, was fantastic! The space was clean, very nicely decorated and furnished, and there was a beautiful view from the porch! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay.

Sensational Sunrise

We are SWFL residents and stayed here as a base to visit St. Augustine and the Kennedy Space Center. We wish we had more time to enjoy the property and the beach. The homey touches in the unit made us comfortable. Everything you need was provided. We will definitely be back

Lovely experience

Owner Very attentive to details, thoughtful unexpected items and treats like cotton percale sheets, rather than the microfiber sheets that seem commonplace being provided at most other short term rentals. Easy access to the beach.

Excellent stay and location

Our stay was fabulous! Enjoyed the sunrise everyday right from the balcony. And within walking distance of so many restaurants and shopping! Would highly recommend!

The apartment is great. Comfy bed, amazing view, all the necessities in the kitchen, and super clean! The host is awesome and quick to respond to any question. Highly recommend and will stay here again.
