Quintessential Cape Code cottage is a very accurate moniker for this rental as it is exactly what I remember Cape Cod cottages to look and feel like. Well stocked home - the kitchen had everything one would need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Lots of towels and linens, well supplied kitchen for cooking and entertaining, plentiful beach chairs (even for kids), spacious open floor plan, and very pleasant wrap around porch. The bedrooms and baths are on the smaller side but comfortable. The closest beach is more of a "beachlet" than beach. It is quiet and rather private but not many waves or swimming/walking area.Overall very pleasant stay.

Close to beach

The house was neat and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed. Walking distance to a smaller beach with swings for the kids.

Definitely met expectations

This property worked very well for my wife and I and our son and his wife/ and 3 children. It was well equipped and in a convenient location. We enjoyed the porch and yard and found the rooms on both floors spacious and provided all of us of varying ages to both spread out and come together to eat, play games, and enjoy a variety of activities. Very satisfied!

Great house and location!

This house had everything we needed for a great vacation. Perhaps the biggest convenience was the quick walk to the beach with the beach buggy. We loved the front porch with the beautiful hydrangeas and even took advantage of the outdoor shower! We dinned in a couple of nights and used the fire pit as well as dined at many local restaurants. The kitchen is well-stocked for food preparation. The beds were comfortable and the window air conditioners do the trick! Very well-appointed house in a perfect location. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful vacation week

This was the first time using Vrbo and it was a great experience. The house was just as expected. It was very clean and plenty of room for all of us. It was walking distance to a small beach which was not crowded. Will definitely do this again! We had a wonderful week!

Wonderful place

The house is nice, the first floor is kind of an open floor plan with the master bedroom down stairs. Up stairs was a little tight but workable. The best part about this house is the location. It is in walking distance to a great little beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Short walk to Englewood Beach

We were two families with 4 kids and a baby. We were all very comfortable. We really enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the close proximity to everything! When we cooked in we had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the back yard the fire pit. The beach chairs and beach umbrella came handy and it was nice to do all our laundry before packing to head home. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Nice Cape Cottage

The photos of the house are very misleading. I was expecting the house to look as advertised but the front is very overgrown with all dead flowers in boxes. Not fun sitting on porch. I was under impression there was central air. No window units shown in advertisement photos.

Getaway in Yarmouth

We spent a wonderful week in this charming home in Yarmouth. It is a short walk to a small boating beach, and a short drive to the bigger and beautiful Seagull Beach. The location is very convenient for visiting other parts of the cape since it is so centrally located. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are plenty of beach towels, chairs, etc. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the farmer's porch, and sitting around the fire ring in the evening. Thank you for a great stay!

Check in process was very smooth. Owners were very responsive. The location is within walking distance to a public beach. Lots of great restaurants in this area. There’s plenty of space in this house for a family, however this time it was just my husband and me. The kitchen was well stocked. The space outside is great for outside entertaining. Lovely spot! We would definitely rent again.

Wonderful week at the Cape

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. The porches and fire pit were our favorite! The location of this house is perfect for walks/bike rides to the bay or ocean. We enjoyed the central location in the Cape - we were able to take easy day trips to paddleboard at the Bass River, Whale Watch, take a dune tour and walk around Provincetown. It was wonderful to come home to such a beautiful home and relax on the front porch. We enjoyed eating out at Keltic Kitchen (walking distance from home), Ann & Fran's (walking distance) and Skipper's Chowder House (short drive but in Yarmouth). The owners are great to work with - very responsive. We were thankful for their concern and attentiveness after the tornado last week. Very impressed with crews that came into Yarmouth to restore power and clean up the debris from the storm.

Perfect escape! A beautiful, well-equipped home to enjoy a getaway!!

We stayed for a girls' weekend. The location was excellent and perfect for beach, restaurants, and access to the best the Cape has to offer. The house is clean and beautifully decorated. The wrap around porch was a favorite. We spent a rainy morning sitting on the porch rockers. Definitely hope to stay again!

Home away from home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Cape Cod area and staying in this lovely home made it absolutely perfect! The house was clean, well maintained, nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I loved enjoying my coffee each morning while rocking on the porch and taking walks through the neighborhood and down to the beach. I would definitely recommend this home to my friends and family.

Charming!

My sister was visiting me from California and had never been to the Cape. I wanted her to experience Cape Cod's unique charm and Diane and Wayne's beautiful home provided the perfect experience. The home is exceptionally clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook meals at the house. There are also a number of wonderful restaurants nearby. We enjoyed numerous short walks to the beach and many cups of coffee rocking lazily on the wrap around porch. Charming! I recommended this home to my mother and father from CA, they had a wonderful stay as well. We will definitely return and hope this wonderful cottage will be available on our next visit.

• Good location close to sea and 10 min drive from shops. • Spacious house with good air conditioning. • Good kitchen appliances, acknowledging broken microwave which was fixed promptly during our visit. • Good off street parking. • Good wifi. • Bedrooms and bathrooms perhaps soon in need of some refurbishment, furniture and beds seemed rather old. • A little disappointed to find plastic, as opposed to glass, wine glasses. • Poor selection of cutlery, from memory there were 5 forks, none of which matched and all from different sets. • BBQ gas ran out towards the end of our visit, having used it 3 times, despite assurances prior to our visit that gas supply would be checked. • Broken toilet seat in ground floor was not terribly hygienic. • Lack of local information pack was unusual, e.g. maps, suggested restaurants, location of shops etc. • Left with a feeling of a ‘business transaction’, rather than ‘welcome to our home’, e.g. a financial penalty for every 15 mins late on departure. The owner indicates these observations are being addressed..

Just what my family needed!

My family and I loved this home! It was perfect and so relaxing. The house was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet which is alway a plus. Seagull beach was a blast and only a 10 minute bike ride down the road. The porch was a great bonus as I enjoyed coffee and breakfast there each morning! The house had everything you could need and was accommodating to my large family. Definitely will stay here again in the future!!!

Cape Cod at its best!

If you are seeking an amazing and unforgettable Cape Cod Experience, look no further than this Cottage! Our stay was perfect in every way. Having spent many summers in Cape Cod as a child, the location was an obvious selling point. The ocean is a minute walk away, downtown Hyannis is effortlessly accessible, and adventuring to Dennis, Harwich, and Chatham is a breeze. The charm and comfort of this home is remarkable! The place is spotless with beautiful hardwood floors, fluffy beds, and an immense kitchen. We found ourselves so eager to return at the end of the day and just enjoy the accommodations. The owners could not be more friendly and helpful. A modernized coded entry eliminated the hassle of a key and it was quite clear with every detail that the quality of our stay was very important to them. We look forward to renting again very soon and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the ultimate Cape Cod experience!
