Wonderful host and house

Chas was an absolute great host and can’t thank him enough. Our stay at this Hyannis exceeded all expectations and provided the perfect Cape Cod getaway. The home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The location was ideal - close enough to downtown Hyannis for dining and shopping and kids loved the short walk for ice cream. We would definitely book this property again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay on the Cape.

Nice place, we really enjoyed our stay. Great location, well maintained and owner was easy to communicate with. The only thing that was wrong is that the grill didn't have propane and was very dirty. With that said we would stay there again.

Great location

Close to everything. Large house. Very clean. A lot of added special touches: coffee, spices, soaps, shampoo, bikes, games etc. Fast response from owner when internet modem broke and company came to fix. Can’t wait to rent again! We loved it so much.

Fine for a few days

The property is exactly as listed and in a great location. It was clean. The house is a bit dark and the backyard had some fallen trees, but the three season porch was as presented and the house had all the immendities needed, except a frying pan.

We followed up with the homeowners, who wanted to thank you for your helpful feedback, and share the following: - We apologize for the lack of a frying pan; we previously had more than one in the house and were not aware those had gone missing. We will replace that right away. - We have an appointment scheduled with a tree removal company to take care of the fallen trees in the yard. We're happy to hear you found the house clean and as advertised. We are committed to continuing to improve our property to ensure all guests enjoy a five-star visit.

Wonderful stay!

Home was inviting and very clean. Easy check in. We had an issue with the internet/modem and owner was super quick to respond. Great neighborhood and close to everything. A lot of great extras: coffee, sugar, soaps, shampoos, spices, bikes, games, extra pillows/blankets, laundry, etc. Kitchen very functional for our needs. Nice open concept. Loved it. Hoping to make this our annual “spot”. Thank you for sharing your home.

very cute place, nice backyard + BBQ a few things that could be fixed: mold on shower curtain in master bedroom, downstairs AC had nonfunctioning temperature lower button, AC filter upstairs needed cleaning, 4 bathroom adult size towels plus one very small one (increase the number of newer towels). host never replied to email but was ultimately responsive after a few texts and calls

Should be more

House is good but needs to be cleaned better. A deep clean needs to happen. There were few towels and some smelled like mildew. No towels for guest bathroom. No detergent to run dishwasher. There was no working exterior light where the entrance door was. There was only one water glass in the kitchen. Needs many more. The exterior picture was taken several years ago as the vegetation is very over grown.

Hi Melissa, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We do our best to keep the outdoor area looking nice. The listing pictures were taken during a different season and there are seasonal flowers that come out and then later go dormant when the seasons change. However, we do have plans for a landscape team to make some changes in the off-season. - Based on your feedback, we have had the home deep cleaned since your stay. We do use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival. We have also purchased new towels for our future guests.- We wish you had contacted the Guest Contact during your stay if there were any issues you needed addressing. We would have done everything we could to resolve your concerns immediately so that you could enjoy the home. - We checked and didn’t see that any of the cups were missing. As is standard for vacation rentals, the homeowner provides a starter supply of essentials for guests’ convenience. - Guests may have to purchase additional supplies, especially for longer stays or larger groups. We will also add more dish detergent for our guests' use. We apologize for the inconvenience.- Your feedback assists us in understanding our guests' perspectives and improving wherever possible. Wow! Excellent property!!

My wife and kids booked this property as we wanted to be near the beach. The photos don’t do it justice on how tranquil and beautiful this lovingly cared for property is. The attention to detail and cleanliness really impressed us. Our kids usually complain about the places we stay but all they’ve done is ask when we are going back? They asked if we could move there! Fantastic spot and it exceeded all of our expectations. Definitely coming back!!

Charming Home close to the beach

This was the perfect location for a getaway with our friends and young children. The porch was a great spot to land after a long day at the beach (and putting the kids to bed)for some board games and catching up. JFK and Kulmus beaches are a short walk away, and the perfect spot to get some R&R. Plenty of restaurants with outdoor seating within walking distance of the property as well. Whale watch in Hyannis was great! The owner of the property, Erica, was easy to reach and very accommodating. Thanks again for extending your home to us. We had a great time!

House was beautiful and just what we were looking for. We are a younger crowd, house was very conveniently located next downtown (bars and restaurants) and beach was right there. Highly recommended, Erica was great to work with, overall awesome experience.

Great Home

We had such a nice time in this home. All the amenities and perfect location to walk to the beach and walk to town! Great neighborhood. The host was very responsive and wanted to make sure she was available for any issues we might experience. Definitely would stay again.

Our Hyannis Trip

Great property to use if you plan on visiting Cape Cod. the ferry to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are a 5 minute walk and Veteran's Park, the closest beach, is a 13 minute walk. Good amenities in the house especially the back porch where we spent all of our time! Overall a great stay!
