Perfect for Us!

Loved this complex. The Condo was perfect for my sister and I to spend a week in town helping my Mom before, during and after surgery. Great location, clean, quiet grounds. We loved it and would recommend it for sure!

Location, location, location

This property is close to the pier/downtown area, as well as the beach and bike path that goes around the island. The room was very clean and the property grounds were well kept.

Great First Trip

My wife, newborn, and I enjoyed our first trip to St. Simons Island this past week. The property is very nice, has wonderful location, and it's protected by a gated entrance. We will absolutely be booking again!

Sea air Villa

We spent five nights here in 210. Great experience. The beds were comfortable. Cable tv was nice and easy to operate. Close to beach and the fishing pier. Restaurants and shops are near by.

Two thumbs up

Perfect place for the two of us. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown and beaches. The complex is very nice, and very quiet. Beds are a little squishy, might need to be updated soon, but other than that we were pleased with our stay. Also, had to check in very late and the key pick up was very close by and very simple!

Would stay again!

Room is set up like a hotel room with a great balcony and view. Front door view looks down on pool so it would be easy to watch children playing. It was great to have a place with a gate as I felt very secure and safe. The parking was plentiful and there were elevators and luggage carts to move our items to/from the condo. It was a quiet area and was walking distance to the lighthouse/pier (.9 miles). Some may prefer a bike. I may have missed it in the description but was disappointed there was not a dishwasher so I was a little concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchenware although it did look clean. Would have been great to have some basics like salt/pepper, oil and more than one kitchen towel. Furnishings were up to date and clean. Highly recommend a stay here.

Good and bad

This property needs some TLC. The jacuzzi was too moldy to use...so why have it? The deck was spacious but had 2 rusty wrought iron chairs and a tea cup table....why bother? The VRBO listing (since changed) stated a dishwasher, but there was none. It would be easy to put up a sliding barn door between the bedroom and the rest of the place, providing an element of privacy for a late sleeper. A good paint job and some new furniture would have been nice. That said, we have high expectations, and it wasn't horrible. It just could have been better. It is quiet, and secure, and I greatly appreciated the washer/dryer. The kitchen was not sufficient for dining in. If that's important, look elsewhere.

Good and bad

We spent 11 nights in this location. We based our choice on the pictures on VRBO. Unfortunately, the pictures do not accurately depict the unit in some areas. Pictures made it appear larger than it really was. Space was already tight and additional chairs had been added cluttering the space. Exhaust fans in bathroom were full of dust and lint, caulk in kitchen behind faucet was moldy, lighting needs to be updated to brighten things up, and sliding door to deck is hard to open. Also light on bottom of microwave was out. (All noticed issues were reported to Hodnett Cooper for fixing.). On the positive side the property is quiet, has a very nice unheated pool, location is close to downtown, and has a very nice parking garage with elevator to your floor. Also nice to have a washer and dryer for our extended stay. We love St Simons Island and have stayed there other times. We will be back, maybe just not in this unit.

At your fingertips adventure

Though this property was not right on the beach, you had the convenience of everything just a block or two in any direction. Beach access, Restraunt's, the pier, shops and the bonus was the added security of having a gated community so I felt perfectly safe as a woman traveling alone. Will definitely be back next year for another vacation at this amazing condo.

Weekend Away

We had a lovely weekend; the pool is a very nice amenity, and it was mostly deserted during our stay. The unit was fairly centrally located with relatively easy access to beaches and town. The only thing that was at all an issue were the metal headboards not attached to the beds - a bit on the squeaky side when you rolled over, but not too bad. Overall a great stay and likely a trip I would take again.
