Hosting needs serious attention! Where are the basic necessities a rental should supply? Kitchen items are old, rusted pans, utensils bent, nothing we were going to put our food on. The home is Not ADA Wheelchair accessible as both VRBO & Management stated it was. 1st floor Bathroom cannot get a standard wheelchair through its door! I had to carry my mother from the hallway into the bathroom, so demeaning.
The Management team was unresponsive to my immediate call about the condition of the home..dirty linens, floors, kitchen and numerous items. I emailed and sent pictures of the filth.
A representative called stating that all she could offer was to send the cleaning woman back to the home to clean. I stated, we do not want to spend our time waiting for a person to return, wait while she cleans while my family goes out to dinner? No, not acceptable, nor able to let her in after check-in, someone should have inspected to insure the home was ready for
guests. Not even a welcome note...nothing to add a personal touch - instead we found an email print outs from the last renters, food stains on pages. YUCK.
I cleaned the home myself, placed my parents on blankets we brought instead of using dirty, thin, stained bedding. I would never recommend this rental; the location is easy with the beach within walking distance but until the home is suitable for renters and a responsive management team I'd stay away. Overprice, received zero follow-up from mgmt. Renters beware.
