A lovely large apartment in a fabulous location

We had a wonderful stay at Christiane’s apartment with our two children. The flat is in a beautiful old traditional building but renovated with style. The location is fabulous, walking distance to everything you need for your stay. We loved exploring Strasbourg on foot from this perfect base.

Location Location

Less than 200m to the Cathedral! Perfect for the Christmas markets as everything was walkable. Clean apartment and surprisingly quiet given the living room and dining room looked down on a busy fun street. Great visit. Thank you.

Best Christmas Holiday Ever

This was a smooth transaction. The host was amazing. Very quick to respond. Checked in daily to see how we were. The location is the best in Strasbourg. The view from the room was perfectly splendid.

I would go back in an instant.

We had always wanted to see the Xmas market in Strasbourg and this apartment looked ideal as it was close to everything. We were just a block or two from the Cathedral. The apartment was clean, warm, had pleanty of hot water, great cooking facilities (who can eat in when there are so many excellent restaurants in the area.) Beds were comfortable and Christiane was very helpful. He didn't speak much english but we got by just fine. If I ever go back I will definitely stay at the same place.

Schönes Appartement in einem historischen Haus

Wir haben hier eine schöne Woche in Straßburg erlebt. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und individuell eingerichtet und liegt super zentral, nur ein paar Schritte von der Kathedrale und zahlreichen guten Restaurants entfernt, mit Blick auf die belebte Innenstadt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten können bequem zu Fuß erreicht werden. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, sogar Getränke standen zur Begrüßung bereit. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt! Danke für den Tipp Maison Kammerzel, da sollte man zum Essen unbedingt einkehren.

Appartement charmant et bien situé, mais climatisation inefficace

Nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans cet appartement joliment décoré et idéalement situé pour explorer la ville et ses environs. La présence d'un parking à quelques pas est un atout indéniable. Cependant, un point important à considérer est l'absence de climatisation efficace. Le climatiseur (pas une climatisation) présent est malheureusement peu utile en raison de la configuration en U de l'appartement et de son emplacement dans un placard à côté de l'entrée. De plus, il est sous-dimensionné pour la taille de l'appartement. Si vous recherchez un lieu climatisé pour vous reposer la nuit lors de fortes chaleurs estivales, cet appartement risque de ne pas répondre à vos attentes. Pas d'autre choix que de tenter de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes, ce qui est compliqué car elles donnent sur une rue animée jusque tard dans la nuit.

We hadden goed contact met de eigenaresse. Moesten wel steeds zoeken in de traslater app. Zou fijn zijn als VRBO net als Airbnb een vertaalfunctie heeft. Dat scheelt veel gedoe Ik was in gezelschap van mijn vader maar dat kreeg ik hier niet ingevuld.. de tegel bleef vaag.. Vandaar ik maar " alleen" heb ingevuld.

Comfortable and perfectly located

This property could not have been located in a better place in Strasbourg. The cathedral was a 2 minute walk away and there were at least four museums that were as close or closer. Although the living and dining areas overlooked two bars, we were never disturbed by noise.

Great Location

The property was very cute/funky and spacious. A lot of thought has gone into it. The location was perfect close to everything and also transportation. Although in a main tourist restaurant area it was very quiet at night with windows closed.

Perfect location.

The property was rustic and has old world charm. Right in the centre close to restaurants, shops,transport and the Christmas markets. Everything is a short walk away. Thankyou Christiane.

The apartment was very clean and decorated well. The owners were very cordial upon welcoming us. If you want to cook this is not the apartment for you. There is no oven, a microwave/convection which was difficult to understand directions with respect to using the oven. The cooking utensils were very sparse, cork screw that was impossible to use, and all dull knives. Could not figure out how to use the Krups Nespresso machine as there were no directions. If you are staying for a longer period of time and want to wash clothes the washer dryer instructions are impossible to understand. I could never get the dryer to work. Owner had never used the machine, and could not help. The apartment is very quiet, in a safe neighborhood, but be aware of the 2 flights of stairs up to the apartment. This apartment is a better choice for a few days, but not 2 weeks due to the above mentioned issues.

Centrally located in the heart of Old Strasbourg

This apartment from the 1600's is perfectly situated in Strasbourg. It overlooks a street of restaurants and shops, and is within a stone's throw of all the key sights, the tram, shopping, etc. The apartment is a mix of old world/new world design. Very pretty. Christiane is incredibly quick to response to queries.

Appartement au top ! Au cœur de Strasbourg, à 100 m de la cathédrale : idéalement situé ! L’appartement est très bien et qui plus est très bien décoré. Fantastic!

I have stayed in VRBO's around the world and Christiane's place is one of my top favorites. The apartment is absolutely charming, it has everything you need to be comfortable. Christiane has put much thought and care into every detail.Christiane went out of her way to welcome us and to make sure she was available if we needed anything, and ensure we were comfortable. The location is perfect, it is central to everything. Strasbourg is a special city, with so much to see, great restaurants, shopping, biking and walking, and Christiane's lovely apartment really made the visit that much more special.

Superbe et confortable appartement

Nous avons passé un séjour magique dans cet appartement idéalement situé aux portes du marché de Noël. Christiane, très disponible et d’une grande gentillesse, nous a très bien accueillis. Son appartement est très calme alors qu’il se trouve en plein centre et vous permet de trouver après une longue journée de visite un intérieur tendance et très cosy pour vous reposer. Séjour à Strasbourg avec les marches de Noel

Heart of the cathedral district

If you want to be in the historic center, this is a great location. The apartment is very charming, and well appointed. It’s best for a couple, or family, as the bedrooms are adjoining through glass doors, and there is only one bath. But plenty of space and very comfortable. Steps from the cathedral, good restaurants, shopping and in December of course, the Christmas markets. Check in and out was super easy. Overall highly recommended.
