Lovely apartment with sea views in a luxury development in La Cala de Mijas. Air conditioned, 24hr Security & Gated entrance.

The town and beach of La Cala de Mijas is a short stroll away.

The apartment has two bedrooms, a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower and bath and a twin room with a separate bathroom.

The lounge/dining area seats 4 people and has a TV with UK TV and DVD player.

The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay, with fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven and hob and Microwave
There is a Kettle and a toaster for a quick breakfast which you can enjoy on the balcony.

Community pool with toilets and changing area and Paddle tennis. Lift.

Lidl supermarket only a few minutes away walking and also has a fresh meat counter, An Aldi, Mercadona, Carrefour are also located in the town.
Regular bus service to Fuengirola and Marbella.

Check in time is 3pm onwards, late night check in can incur an additional charge, please check.
Check out time is 10am on day of departure

Lovely apartment

Lovely time, apartment is in a great location in the complex, lovely sea view and nice pool area. Bars and restaurants close by. Theresa who looks after the apartment was very helpful, she was waiting on us when we arrived.

Fabulous apartment in good location

This apartment is like staying in your own home. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge is cosy. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. A lot of thought from the owner has gone into providing things that people on holiday may need such as floats and noodles for the pool, chairs for the beach or pool and even umbrellas should they be needed.

Relaxing summer holiday

We had a lovely relaxing holiday staying at Jayne’s apartment in the Alamar complex. We were met by Sarah at check in who was very helpful and friendly and stayed in contact with us throughout our stay. The apartment is as described with everything that we needed for our break away any many added extras like pool towels and pool/beach chairs. Would love to return next time we visit the beautiful La Cala. Thank you Jayne & Sarah

Lovely apartment

The apartment is ideally located just a short distance from the centre of La Cala, where there are numerous eating places, shops and a twice weekly market. It's well equipped with ample space for 4 adults and a lovely view of the Mediterranean from the balcony. The booking process was easy as was communication with Jayne and Sarah . I would definitely recommend this apartment and I would revisit when the opportunity arises.

Top Class accommodation

Superb apartment, great location. 5 minutes walk to supermarket, 7 minutes to cafes/restaurants/wine bar, 10 minutes to beach, 20 minutes to centre of La Cala. Owner replied swiftly to enquiries. Sarah our local contact, brilliant. Snack Attack cafe/restaurant for quality reasonably priced food. Manuel Taxis reliable.

Good to be back

Have used this apartment a couple of times around 4 years ago and well everything is as wonderful as ever. There are now toiletries which is a useful addition to our previous visit along with milk and water in the fridge. Highly recommend and we will be sure to return again in the future. Special mention for Sarah lovely lady who hung around while I had to return to collect some items we had left behind

Lovely stay

We chose to stay at the same apartment we went to last year as we were so impressed with the area, the facilities & ease of the host Jayne & her agent Sarah who met us on arrival & checks regularly to make sure all is ok.The complex is situated in a great area, superb pool & gardens, convenience to lovely beach & eating places just a short short walk away. ( we love the Bocarte rest for Tapas, but we do book)The apartment has everything you could want from beach chairs, parasols to paddle tennis rackets, & is beautifully kept, has great air con & we can thoroughly recommend. A real gem. We did a bike tour in Malaga last year & got the train from Fuengirola, & this year did a walking tour in Marbella .The walk along the boardwalk to Cabopino was well worth it too. Enjoy.

Outstanding Apartment in Mijas

The Apartment is in a great location, approx 10 mins walk to the beach, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Also ideally located is a large Lidl just 3 mins at the end of the road. We were very happy with all aspects of our stay, everything you could possibly think of has been considered; The apartment was very clean, comfortable and a real pleasure to stay in. Theresa, the lovely housekeeper was great and really looked after us, she was organised and friendly, nothing was any trouble. Jayne, our host, was so helpful even before we arrived. We had clear, detailed info to get to the apartment via any means of transport (we took the train then cab- cheap and super easy!) plus info about the wider area and full instructions for all the many good quality mod cons. Our overall view of our stay in Mijas was that the apartment, and the level care we received far exceeded our expectations. We would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing, stress free break in a home from home. We hope we get the opportunity to stay there again!

Amazing, beautiful and we WILL be returning!!!

Wow, what can we say? Our stay at Alamar apartments was incredible and we were very sad to leave. The place was spotless, clean and just a perfect size for all 4 of us, with such a homely vibe. The location is fantastic as we could access the beach within a 7/8 minute walk and all the hot spots, nice bars and restaurants in La Cala were within perfect walking distance. Having facilities including the dishwasher and washing machine was helpful for us and just what you need when you are away for a long time. The host Sarah who we kept in touch with couldn’t have done enough for us, she went the extra mile with showing us around, keeping in touch with us to check in how we were doing, and the whole process has just been so easy from booking it months in advance to the day that we checked out. Sarah is very kind, friendly and approachable. A beautiful, cozy, relaxing, modern apartment with a gorgeous view that we are already hoping to book for next years holiday. Thank you Sarah and Alamar, you have been incredible and we cannot wait to return. X

Already looking to returning to this complex/apartment next year

Our initial thought once we reached the complex was that unlike the previous complex we stayed at this complex was gated, thus enabling us to leave the car in a secure area. Following our meeting with the Sarah, who looks after the apartment we were shown to apartment via the lift, which made a change to our previous apartment where you had to carry your golf clubs up two/ three floors. Once inside the apartment we found it to be spacious enough for the two of us, and that it had all the facilities we required: two good sized en suite bedrooms; fully fitted kitchen; large storage area with ironing board and shopping trolley etc; good sized balcony, lounge with dining table along with a large suite for watching tv, which has all the main English stations, as opposed to most which have one or two English channels and then Sky and/or CNN etc. Due to the location of the complex it is only a five minute walk to either Lidl which is at the bottom of the road along with local eateries, however, if you want to walk into Cala de Mijas it is only a 10-15 minute walk, thus either way plenty of places locally to eat and drink. The beach in Cala de Mijas is again a 10 minute walk, and if you are more adventurous you can get the bus by Lidl or across the road from which will take you to all of the tourist centres (Pueblo Mijas, Fuengirola, Marbella etc). Overall we found both the complex to be well maintained and the apartment to be very clean; spacious; quite; safe; within easy reach of everything you would want from an apartment, so much so that unless you, like we were traveling to golf courses, the only need your car to get you to and from the airport. This complex and apartment are so much better than where we used to stay, so much so that we are already looking forward to returning to this complex and apartment again next year.

Great Apartment Great Location

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this apartment, Before arrival the communication with Jayne (owner) and Sarah (property manager) was excellent, the apartments close to the centre of La Cala Mijas and only a few minutes walk to the beach. The pool is excellent and was very warm in the late afternoon sun. The apartment was very secure and homely with all the comforts you don’t get in a hotel. All in all an excellent time had by all - would highly recommend.

Summer holiday 3022

We stayed in this lovely apartment 29th July for 2 weeks . The apartment is situated nicely in the La Cala area and is within walking distance to shops,bars and restaurants. The balcony has a lovely view and the swimming pool is close by. We would stay here again anytime we are visiting the area.

Fab apartment

Just returned from a lovely stay at Jayne’s apartment. I would highly recommend this apartment. Great location, about a 10 minute walk to the centre of La Cala and Lidl is just across the street. Apartment is spotlessly clean, comfortable and ideal for a family of 4. It had everything we needed, including beach/pool loungers, inflatables, buckets & spades and even extra beach towels. Sarah (who looks after the apartment) was so helpful. She met us when we arrived, showed us around the apartment and even dropped us a message during our stay to check everything was ok. Pool area was lovely and everyone really friendly. Complex feels really safe and is well maintained. A real home to home feel with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back!

Everything you could want....

We cannot recommend this accomodation enough. The apartment is in a lovely well kept complex with a fantastic pool area & gardens even paddle tennis court .Apartment is modern,tastefully decorated, so clean & well looked after, has everything you could need, variety of sunbeds, chairs, parasols, beach stuff, (hairdryers, coffee machine, ...) super comfy bed,& great lighting, good air con, fridge had milk water, drinks etc waiting for us & Sarah who met us looked after us so well, even contacting us a few days in to make sure no problems & when we were leaving.Wifi was great & host supplied us with taxi details who we emailed whilst in UK to arrange taxi to airport as super early flight. Host supplied Beach Towels, even paddle tennis rackets to play on the court there. The walk to the town of La Cala & beach is max 10mins and is & such a nice place with good balance of places to eat.We had fab Tapas at La Bocarte, lovely menu at El Olivios, great Indian at Sai Indian Rest & Cantonese as well as plenty of English, Italian fish etc Having a Lidl close by is ideal & there is a lovely string of restaurants just at the bottom of the road.We got the train from Malaga airport to Fuengirola, then a taxi outside the station & is a very short ride. Thank you to Jayne & Sarah for a lovely stay, we would not hesitate to come back again as a hidden gem.

Great apartment, lovely holiday

Great apartment in good area

Sarah greeted us and went through everything and said to call her if we needed anything. Apart from the weather everything was good. Apartment is modern and spacious and had everything we needed. Just a short walk down to some bars and cafes and then over a bridge and not much further to the sea. A few more minutes and we where in the centre of La Cala. Lots of good bars and restaurants. Lovely easy coastal walk and also easy access to bus routes. Would definitely stay here again!
