The apartment is amazing. I have never left a review before as I am probably never 100% happy and I wouldn't want to say anything bad about a property. This was everything it says on the tin and more. I've stayed in La Cala for over 12 years and this is by far the best property I have stayed in. Brilliant location, brilliant apartment with the stand out feature being the balcony that goes all around the building. Chantal the host was brilliant prior to check in answering all my questions pretty much immediately. The check in process with Sebastien was spot on. I can honestly say that in all my years of staying abroad this has been the best experience. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Chantal and Sebastien.

We had a fantastic 12-day stay at this property! Communication was excellent both before and during our stay, Chantal was incredibly responsive to any questions, and Sebastian was also easily contactable whenever needed.The outdoor wrap-around terrace was a real highlight, very spacious, with plenty of spots to either soak up the sun or relax in the shade. Inside, the apartment was impressively well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, even down to a shopping trolley for trips to the local supermarket.Although we had a car, it's definitely not essential. The area is very walkable, with plenty of local restaurants and bars nearby. We dined out every evening and did not have one bad experience.All our must haves were covered: air conditioning, sunbeds, a full kitchen, washing machine, and privacy. As a bonus, there was even a lift, something we weren’t expecting, but very grateful for, as it saved us climbing three flights of stairs.The only minor point was the limited TV channels (only BBC World News and Sky News), but we were able to access Netflix, and once we got the hang of the remote, it worked just fine.All in all, a wonderful stay, we’d absolutely recommend this property and will hopefully return!

Beautiful apartment on a lovely quiet site. Check in was easy and Sebastian was great. Close to amenities and walking distance to the beach. Excellent wifi and outdoor space was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment & excellent location.

Made use of the spacious terrace & everything provided for an enjoyable fortnight. Chantal responded quickly with minor apartment queries.Will consider booking again.

Family holiday

Amazing stay here with my family. Not too far from the beach and restaurants. Everything was clean and tidy. Had everything you would possibly need for a family. Very very impressed with this penthouse was truly beautiful. Pool facilities were very good. Check in and check out very easy was made to feel very welcome by Sebastian. Will 100% be coming back.

Fabulous property with almost everything you could want. My friend and I were blow away. There were a few niggly things that could have veen improved on. I.e. more information about some of the gadgets in the house would have helped as we did not know how the induction hob worked and although they asked that we turned off the fridge before we left we just could not work out how to do it. The flat lock was also s problem until we had to get Sebastien to show us the trick after being locked out of the flat. Overall though we had a really nice time in the apartment which was ideally located.

Home from home

A spacious, comfortable apartment in a lovely area, quiet, but close to everything.Big Carrefour 5 minutes walk and lots of good restaurants between 5-20 minutes walkWe loved our stay here.The host Chantal and the manager Sebastien were always quick to respond and solve any problem (we just had a slight boiler issue, quickly resolved by Sebastien)The apartment is very homely, clean and comfortable and the terrace is fabulous and always a part of it in the sun but plenty of shade if needed.The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are good.We would not hesitate to book this apartment again, it was one of our favourites and we have stayed in a lot of different ones in the La Cala/Fuengirola area.Thank you Chantal/Sebastien

Huge outdoor space, wraparound terrace with every possible seating/laying area thought of. Indoor amenities equally as impressive. Great communication from Sebastien. Lovely quiet location but close (5 minutes) walk to two supermarkets, close to restaurants too. 15 minute walk to main resort centre. Really comfy beds. We will definitely return to this fantastic penthouse apartment. Thanks for a fab home from home experience.

Fabulous apartment in lovely area of la cala apartment had everything required for a lovely holiday and was spotlessly clean.outside balcony is fantastic with lots furniture and sunbeds. Sebastian emailed the day before our arrival to confirm flight arrival time and was there to show us around on arrival. Will hopefully be back in the future

Lovely stay in La Cala de Mijas

This was our second stay at Chantal's apartment. We enjoyed it as much as our first stay. Chantal's apartment is very comfortable and has everything we needed. We love the area of La Cala and the apartment is an easy walk into the town. It's also very close to the markets in La Cala and two supermarkets. We enjoy visiting Malaga Botanical Gardens and the city centre. We park at Plaza Mayor shopping mall and catch the train into the centre of Malaga. Other places to visit - Estepona, Antequera, Tercel National Park, Mijas Pueblo (although in this day and age it would be nice to see the donkeys and horses no longer being used for tourist entertainment), the Donkey Dreamland Sanctuary is in the hills behind La Cala. We hope to be able to stay again in the apartment soon. Thank you Chantal.

Very well equipped apartment in a peaceful and quiet location.The wraparound balcony being a stand out feature for us and we certainly put it to good use. Communication was great throughout and Sebastien was extremely helpful. We visited the local bars and restaurants and enjoyed walking into La Cala of a night and walking on the beach boardwalk. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely come back.

Perfect stay to escape the UK Winter.

The apartment is beautiful and in a perfect location in La Cala. Everything we needed was there and the minor difficulty when the iron broke was soon dealt with by Sabastien who provided a new one immediately. The only negative is the lack of British TV channels which in Winter can be an issue.

It was my first visit to La Cala de Mijas. Our luckiest part was that our hostess, Chantal was truly exceptional. She attended our tiniest requests always on time, with grace and honesty. She is the very best hostess I have ever had. The apartment was what we expected, extremely clean and well kept, located, close to all the amenities we needed, in walking distance to beaches, markets and 4 supermarkets. The place was secure and offered calm and tranquillity. I highly recommended this address.

Perfect relaxing holiday

Communication with Chantal, the proprietor and Sebastian, property manager, was easy and could not be defaulted. The flat was lovely and clean upon arrival and Sebastian gave us a quick explanation of how to work the TV, WIFI, etc. A great bonus was the comfy beds and the extension room off the kitchen which we did use a lot for prepping meals. Worth mentioning is the array of kitchen utensils rather unusual to find this in a holiday rental. We were lucky with the weather and took full advantage of the well equipped/furnished balcony which is of a great wrap around style with cozy seating, two dining tables, 4 sun loungers and some sun bathing chairs. The pool area was under renovation and looked very inviting so need to try this on our next visit. Carrefour has opened a big supermarket across the road from Aldi both a mere 5 minutes flat walk away. La Cala town centre is a further few minutes from there. All in easy walking distance. We can highly recommend this accommodation and will be returning soon we hope. Thank you Chantal for letting us stay in your lovely penthouse and we very much look forward to our next visit. Perfect quiet location

Very well equipped apartment, huge penthouse terrace with access to a pool and loungers. Bright 2 bedrooms double and 2 singles. BBQ grill on terrace with loungers, dining and sitting area. 9 hole beautiful golf course 7min walk away with terrific cafe. 10 -15 min walk to town centre, bars, restaurants and shops Aldi 10 min walk away. Quiet and peaceful location. Buses from town to Marbella, Fuengirola etc would definitely stay again.

Fabulous!

This place is beautiful! From the minute we booked, Chantals communication was fantastic, and from the moment we arrived, Sebastien was extremely. (We encountered a problem as we left a mobile phone in the taxi! - He quickly contacted the taxi company and has the problem resolved within 20 minutes!) Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was lovely. Very spacious and clean. The kitchen utensils are the best selection I've ever seen!! The wrap around balcony was perfect for sunbathing, but also escaping the heat too. The apartment was very quiet, being on the top floor. Swimming pool and gardens very nice. Within a close walk to Aldi. There's also a shopping trolley available so you don't have to carry your heavy shopping. Everything had been thought of and a lot af care has been put into providing you with a wonderful experience. Local shops/bars a pleasant 20 min walk away. Nearby local markets on Wed's & Sat €50 taxi fee for airport transfer Local buses are easy to use to get you to Fuengirola/Marbella Local beach board walk lovely and can get you to Cala Honda within an hours walk. Lots of bars along the way! Would highly recommend this for a relaxing stay. Would definitely come again.

Fantastic apartment

Clean, well equipped apartment. Bed comfy. 10 minute walk into La Cala and Aldi supermarket. Very quiet but disappointed pool was out of action for 4 days due to maintenance. Would definitely return.

Expérience inoubliable

Nous avons loué cet appartement pour une semaine en mars 2023. La propreté ainsi que l’équipement disponible sont parfaits. La terrasse est absolument fabuleuse et mérite le détour. Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréable et nous souhaitons revenir le printemps prochain. Merci Chantal !
