日当たりの良い家には、居心地の良い2つのリビングルームと、広々としたシェフのキッチンにつながるバー付きの広いダイニングエリアがあります。 設備の整ったキッチンには、Subzero製冷蔵庫、Wolf製ストーブなどのステンレス製電気器具が付いています。 典型的なポーチには、趣のあるアレン公園を見渡すデイベッドのスイングと快適な座席があります。 裏庭は外食用の専用パティオです。 パウダールームはキッチンのすぐそばにあります。

私たちの家には、真新しい低反発マットレスを使用した4つのベッドルームがあります。 1階にはキングサイズベッドとフルエンスイートバスのあるマスターベッドルームがあります。 2階にある3つの追加の広々としたベッドルームは、浴槽とシャワー付きのフルバスルームを共有しています。 2つの部屋にはクイーンベッドがあり、3つ目の部屋には2つの双子がいます。

Perfect space for a group of ladies, lots of great space to spread out, a few good places in the area to check out but about 2 miles from all there is to do downtown. James was accommodating, responsive and provided some great recommendations!

We had such a great weekend at The Lord Ashley celebrating a bachelorette! James was super helpful. The house was a quick 10 min uber to King St. The off street parking was tight for 2 cars but there was plenty of street parking. There is a table with 4 chairs on the patio but James provided a folding table and extra chairs so our group of 8 was able to enjoy dinner outside one night.

Great stay

We really enjoyed staying at The The Lord Ashley. James was always prompt with info and suggestions. The property was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this property.

Great family Weekend

My family and I enjoyed a long weekend at this property. The house is nicely located and walkable to many parks and restaurants. The host was very kind and accommodating, really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

There were 6 of us in my group. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and the living room also accommodated all of us when we wanted to sit and chat in the evenings after exploring Charleston all day. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee. We did lose power one evening for about 8 hours due to a storm. We were worried the older two story house would be hot but it cooled off quickly! The only thing we couldn’t find was a pizza cutter but one of the large kitchen knives did the trick. Great property - I wouldn’t hesitate to book!

Girls weekend!

Stayed here for a girls weekend with the six of us. Plenty of room to spread out and three bathrooms to get ready in. Our host James was very accommodating and informative. The house is so cute and the neighborhood has some great walkable restaurants and parks nearby.

Amazing house!

We had the best experience with both the host and the house. The host was always quick to respond and the house was even better and more spacious than the photos. It was very clean, fully stocked and in a super cute area of town. Every single bed was extremely comfortable too. I will definitely be staying here again!

Perfectly Hidden Gem

This place is impeccably done. From the kitchen to the bedrooms, it is a perfect combination of original 100+ year old details and modern. The front porch is a treasure. The owner was absolutely incredible to work with. He was exceptionally responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home

My family and I were visiting Charlestown for our cousins wedding. We had a great time exploring the city and had a beautiful home to come back to and relax. The Lord Ashley is a beautiful property, situated conveniently by several restaurants and within a short walk to The Citadel. We met James, the host, upon arrival. He was welcoming and gave us some good tips on places to eat. We spent a lot of time on the large front porch which overlooked a neighborhood park with a beautiful fountain. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was huge and had all we needed by way of glassware, dishes, ice, and other comforts of home.

Born and raised in Charleston, SC, I started off as an S.O.B., South Of Broad :) I now live further up the peninsula in Hampton Park Terrace, which I adore. With its leafy streets and neighborhood vibrancy, I love staying close to home enjoying all the new local restaurants and bars. I've been lucky enough to live abroad, travelling the world teaching ESL, surfing and falling in love with various cities, but I still consider Charleston one of the most beautiful and charming I've ever seen!

I fell in love with this quintessential Arts and Crafts era home the second I saw it. The open floor plan and sunlit rooms immediately won me over. But my favorite part is the glorious little park it sits directly on. There's nothing better than waking up on a spring day in Charleston and being able to sip my morning coffee over-looking the flowing fountain and grand live oak trees from my porch.
