Wonderful stay, easy check in & great location

From booking, to check in, to checkout, everything was seamless and the host was very responsive. Location was perfect and listing was as pictured. Our family of five with three adult children (18-21) were easily accommodated in this rental.

Wonderful Accommodations in a Wonderful City

Best Florence Accommodation lives up to its name. The apartment is large and spacious and accommodates 6 people comfortably (as long as you share beds). It's convenient to everywhere you'd want to go in Florence, but the street isn't loud. Check in was easy and the owner and his manager were very communicative. The apartment features a binder with so much useful information, but the owner was always available to provide more. We couldn't recommend it more highly.Be sure to have a sweater with you. We were there in late May and the apartment was still chilly - old building, first floor, not a lot of sun to warm the place up. But that's a minor thing for such a wonderful place!

Great Location, Great For Families

Stayed 3 nights with my family (5 total). Wonderful location (minutes walk to most major attractions/museums) and was great place to stay for our family. Plenty of room for the five of us and the host is so nice to work with. Definitely recommend the property and would stay there again the next time in Florence.

We really enjoyed our stay at this first floor apartment. There was everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. They even had the portable baby crib/playpen set up for us when we arrived. There were 4 adults plus a 7 month old and it was a perfect size. The air-conditioning worked beautifully and we really needed it as Firenze was having a heatwave when we were there. We also really enjoyed that each of the bedrooms had a full bathroom with showers. The washing machine worked great and there were drying racks provided, so that we could hang our laundry to dry. We set them up inside, as there were mosquitoes outside. The kitchen/eating area was a lovely bonus and seemed to be fully stocked. To be honest we didn’t get a chance to use the stove or burners but we did see that there were a good variety of tools (frying pans, etc.) so that you could cook a full meal. The soap and other cleaning materials were provided so you would be all set without having to go shopping. While the second bedroom was very small, we found the bed comfortable and the room was quiet. The other bedroom was quite large by European standards and there was plenty of room with the baby sleeping in there too. It was a bit noisier since it was at the front of the apartment. The location of this place was perfect for visiting all of the major attractions. There were many helpful guides and information left by the owner. We found him excellent to communicate with and checkin was very smooth.

Close to everything, but full of mosquitoes

First, the listing doesn't describe that check-in requires you pay 6 per person per night in cash up front, and also provide your passports. It was disconcerting and I felt like we were being robbed upon arrival until other travelers told me it's a real thing. So expect the room to cost something like 200 more for a family of 4 to stay a week.We loved the location, close to everything. There was a lot of ambulance noise in the front bedroom being next to the hospital. The back bedroom didn't have a working heat pump/air conditioner and opening the window to the courtyard let in an amazing amount of mosquitoes that ate us alive. Screens would have been nice, or a fan. The linens and dishes were adequate, but this is the sort of place where there's no coffee or sugar left for you unless the previous tenant left some. Everything was clean, we appreciated having a washer, and there was enough hot water.All in all, okay but not great.

Great Location Comfortable Accommodations

First floor apartment which was nice because we had full size suitcases and there was no elevator. Our host was very responsive to all our questions. Comfortable beds and couch/chair in living room. Close to train station and bus station. Easy walking to see the sites and do some shopping. Internal courtyard was nice because there aren't other windows and gave us a quick look at the weather. Would recommend for couples like us traveling in Florence.

Spacious accomodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rental was extremely spacious and comfortable. We were greeted by Christian, a friend of the owner, and he assisted us in bringing in our luggage. He stressed several times that we could call him if we needed anything. I highly recommend this place and would gladly stay there again.

Centrally located

The apartment was close to the Duomo and within easy walking distance of everything else we wanted to see. It had everything needed to make our stay successful. Gianluca was kind enough to find us a taxi on our last day, going above and beyond his responsibility as our host to do so. We were very grateful. Check in was well managed and easy to achieve.

Great centrally located apt

Enjoyed our stay at great centrally located apt downtown Florence. Gianluca and Daniel were immediately responsive to any texts. Stayed here for 6 nights with spouse and two adult daughters. Would definitely recommend.

Nice apartment in great location

Our family enjoyed our stay on our trip to Florence. The location made walking to many of the sites we were interested in easy while not being in the main areas with more crowding. When we had questions or an issue, Gianluca was so responsive in addressing them! Thank you!

Nice apartment close to the Duomo

The location is great. The apartment is comfortable and on the first floor so no steps. The landlord was very responsive and checked in with us. We had a clogged shower drain and it was fixed same day. Highly recommended!

Family Vacation

Traditional Italian apartment, Our family enjoyed our stay in Florence, disappointed that it had to come to an end. The apartment is tight for 6 adults. Listed as a 3 bedroom but in fact the 3rd bedroom is the pullout sofa in the living area. The 2nd bedroom is small and not easy to get in and out of since it is against the wall, but it does have the attached bathroom as a bonus. Outdoor patio was a plus, wish there was a dryer. The checkin and checkout process was easy and the host was very accommodating.

Great location

This was perfect for my family. Excellent location and very confortable. I would recommend to change the sleeping couch and chair on the living room. They are old and dirty. Otherwise everything was fine

Close to everything

It was comfortable but a bit crowded for five. We had to have sofa bed that took up too much space in living area. Apart from that, we had plenty of linen and everything you need for the kitchen. We loved the location as it was a 5 minute walk to the duomo, 10 minute walk to markets and about 20 minuted from the station.

Great central location!

Pictures don't really do the property justice. It was on the first floor, which was great considering I had kids and appreciated I wasn't shuffling them up and down flights of stairs. The Duomo is blocks away. We walked everywhere. The hosts were amazing also! They answered all questions, and went above and beyond giving us suggestions and local help. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if we ever go back to Florence!

Casa Pancanti

Casa Pancanti is a clean, apartment with a perfect location. The owner has gone out of his way to make our stay comfortable and we had an excellent experience. The unit has everything we needed including a dishwasher, a washing machine, excellent A/C a microwave and coffee maker. The owner provided a helpful pamphlet that even lists recommended restaurants, museums and transportation options. But best of all - the apartment is 3 blocks from the Duomo, 2 blocks from the Accadamae Museum, 8 blocks from the Uffizi Museum, 2 blocks from a really good restaurant (Zio Gigi) and 3 blocks from a small neighborhood market. The beds are comfortable and low to the floor, but we managed I highly recommend this owner and his apartment. Cannot thank the owner enough for all he did for us. I will stay here again if I travel to Florence again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay The location of the property is perfect. Walking distance from many desirable restaurants, sights & attractions Items that could have made our stay better: We did notice a mildew smell in the apartment. It is an older building. The mattresses on the beds were very low & on platforms. No box springs. This made getting in & out of the bed difficult especially for my elderly mother. We managed but it was uncomfortable & challenging. We did appreciate the kitchen amenities. Being able to make a hot cup of tea on the morning with the kettle was lovely. The new television worked wonderfully We were able to stream favorite shows from our Netflix account during down time.

Great location, cool AC, nice host

Great host, Gianluca met us at the start to show us around. He also let us store our bags until our train in the afternoon as no one else was arriving early. Large apartment, AC kept everything cool. Just be careful with running AC and appliances as the breakers will trip. Pillows weren't great but that is pretty common :). Well-stocked kitchen for cooking. Newly renovated large bedroom and bathroom were very nice. TV with Chromecast when you want to veg in the evening. Washer with lots of rack space for drying in the private courtyard. Overall a great place to stay with families in Florence! Be sure to visit Gelateria La Carraia in Santa Croce as well!
