We love Maravilla just not this unit

We have been renting different units at Maravilla for 8 years now. This unit leaves a lot to be desired: -It was not as clean as it could have been -The kitchen is not well equipped, the pans are terrible, plates are chipped, and it needs to be updated. -The bathrooms were missing hand towel racks -Washer and dryer were disgusting, we had to use clorox wipes to wipe it out/moldy -Coffee table was missing a piece and was wobbly -Couches were filthy and worn out -Pillows were dirty -Refrigerator was filthy -Smoke detector would randomly beep during the night even though we updated the battery. We loved being on the ground floor, beds are comfy and linens are nice!

Location

Condo was very nice and close to the beach with chairs provided. Great restaurants near by, Pompano Joe's is our favorite, right on the beach. Great shopping near by too.

Simply Wonderful

An absolutely lovely condo right across the street from the beach! We loved stepping out on the patio to smell the salty air, and the convenience of walking our pups was second to none. Close to everything you could possibly need. The space was clean, and the beds and couches were very comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Comfortable condo in a great location

Condo was clean and comfortable located directly across the street from the private beach. The beach setup (umbrella & two chairs) was wonderful. All appliances (stove, microwave, refrigerator, washer, dryer) were in working order and kitchen was equipped with blender, coffee maker, toaster and plenty of dishes, utensils, pots & pans. We did enjoy this condo! On the down side (but did not ruin our trip in any way): There was no cabinet space for groceries as they were all full & the pantry was locked for only the owners use. The photo of the kitchen was obviously done with a wide angle lens so it appears larger than it is. The dining chairs had white cushions which needed to be cleaned (had minor stains). The inside of master bedroom door needs to be painted as it’s paint is peeled off. Some of the towels were white and fluffy, while others were well used and turning gray. The master bath had four bath towels but only two wash cloths and two hand towels. The kitchen towels were clean but stained. The TV in the living room had Cox cable so you were able to watch local channels (weather, news, shows, etc) while the bedroom TV’s did not! So unless you had your own passwords for other services on the bedroom TV’s (Netflix, Hulu, etc) you were out of luck. Since we spent most of our time out enjoying the beach, the TV situation was minor to us. We did have a great vacation!

Nice Condo but Needs New Couch

The Condo for the most part was fine. Pretty clean when arriving. Kitchen was sufficient with plates, cookware etc. Beds are alright , not the best but for the price we managed. The worst complaint is the couch !! Needs replacing and there’s no way the owner isn’t aware of it. In the middle it sinks Unbelievably. Can’t imagine someone trying to sleep on it when pulled out into a sleeper. The location of the condo is close to the pools and the beach is a short walk across the street. If you’re like us and stay gone most of your vacation , this condo works for a family of four.

Wonderful pet friendly condo/community.

Too many great experiences to list on this trip! The condo is ground floor, clean, and a very short walk to beach. Loved having chairs and umbrella provided by the "Fabio's". They are very nice and work hard for well deserved tips! There are many pet rules that had us a little concerned and stressed. When you see all the different pets that are there with their owners, you have to realize that strict rules are needed and must be followed in order to continue having pet friendly vacation rentals. A short walk down the beach is Kenny D's. We loved our server, Dillon" and returned for two more evenings. Highly recommend AJ's snorkel/dolphin cruise on the Sea Quest. Captain Nick, Cody and Cayden did an amazing job honoring God and country while providing a safe and fun experience for everyone.

Great location clean condo

This 2 bedroom at Maravilla was great. Super location to the beach access, very comfortable and great community of pet friendly rentals. Check in was easy, management was easy to deal with as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Pet-friendly Beach Condo

You never know when traveling to a pet-friendly place if it will have a "pet smell." This place did not. It was very clean and well-kept. The location was perfect for us to walk to the beach and back. The included beach chair service made our stay more enjoyable, relaxing under the umbrella and watching the beautiful sunsets each day. We walked the beach and noticed the public areas were quite crowded, so we were thankful for the private beach area. We had a great trip and would stay again!

Great location, very clean

Quick walk to the beach. Very comfortable and clean unit. 2 pools on the property along with tennis and fitness center. Becki was very easy to work with for questions and reservations. We would consider staying here again.

Great condo and great location.

Very nice and clean condo. It is a very short walk to beach We would definitely book it again. Beckie was great to work with and answered all our questions and concerns. It worked out well for us with our dog, since it was on the first floor. Loved having an umbrella and 2 chairs at the beach everyday. A fantastic vacation!!!

We had a fantastic week! This is a great location. Unit was clean, beds were comfortable and beach service was great! If you’re planning on doing any cooking, the kitchen needs attention. No lids for pots, missing basic items like a spatula or measuring cups. We would definately stay here again-just bring a few kitchen items.

Condo was nice, but with al the construction and nonworking tv.It was somewhat disappointing.

Construction was terrible, they were resurfacing parking lot. No one told us this was going to happen. We had to park on other side of complex my wife is disabled and it was very difficult to get her into and out of the condo and to the vehicle.We had told the rental agent about her disability when we rented and that why we ask for a ground floor.Some one should have told us up front about the construction. The tv. in the bedroom went out we called but no one ever came to repair it, therefore we did without a bedroom tv .

We had a wonderful stay at Maravilla 3106. It had everything you need for cooking meals. Easy walk to the beach. Close to shopping and restaurants. Nice pet friendly unit. Our toy poodle loved the stay too!

Great vacation with our fur baby!

For the past few years, we have travelled to Panama City and rented bungalows as we like the home feel to them. This year we travelled with our 17 year old fur baby and found that trying to locate a rental unit which allows cats is pretty tough! We were able to find the PERFECT condo for our annual vacation in Destin with this rental! We loved the easy accessibility to the first floor with parking spots available outside our front door. The decor was so comforting and tranquil! The kitchen was well equipped for most of what we needed! The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable! Having chairs and an umbrella readily available at the beach across the street was amazing! We loved not having to tote our chairs and umbrella back and forth. (Cody was incredibly helpful and super personable! Tip him well!!!) One of the perks we've become accustomed to at bungalows is an outdoor grill. While there are only two community grills at this condo, we didn't have difficulty getting in to grill our dinners. The other vacationers were friendly and willing to share a grill if necessary. We also used the pool at the front of the property and were happy with the cleanliness of the pool and the availability of chairs! I'm a runner and was thrilled that the running path was so close by! Everything we needed was within a short driving distance (Gold's Gym, Publix, Bruster's, and Starbucks) or walking distance (Pompano Joe's, Bad Ass Coffee, and a couple of souvenir shops!). This was really a GEM of a condo! We will be back!
