Construction Nightmare

We were not made aware of the level of construction in building 3, specifically right next to room 3208. It seems because of a lack of communication from the construction team to the HOA, or the owner, there was a floor/ceiling collapse that led to the stairs and elevators to be shut down to where we had no access to them during certain times of the day. Literally on our last day/night we couldn't access the elevator, because of them literally cutting a hole in the floor, to take some of our things to the car before departure. The property manager was very nice, but the more I think about it we didn't have a vacation due to the noise, inconveniences, etc. I really should get a majority refund. The 300 was just not sufficient now that I've had time to think about it. The cost compared to the inconvenience was terrible. Thank you. This looks bad on VRBO too.

Nice Vacation Spot

Overall impression was very pleased. Just a couple of items of note for improvement. 1. Furniture in living area had a lot of sand on them when we arrived. 2. Appliances are a little beat up but only an aesthetic issue, functionally they were fine. The location was great and there were a lot of items to help make our stay enjoyable (beach chairs, pickle ball accessories, games, etc.). The teenagers loved the pool and hot tub at the facility. The free beach chairs and umbrella was a nice amenity. We had a great time and would definitely stay in Maravilla again.

Location and view were amazing

First time in this unit, always stay at Maravilla because it’s pet friendly. The unit was a 9 out of a 10. Great view, great location.

Sunshine and happiness

Wonderful condo- clean and kindly appointed with comforts to make it your home away from home. We had a lovely time cooked many wonderful meals, saw dolphin every morning from our balcony with a great view of the Gulf( so lucky to have that) we enjoyed both pools and the beach (with chairs included) everyday and then were able to catch the afternoon sun since we faced west. Walked everywhere had great food and coctails at the local restaurants - we love Miramar beach and this condo is everything you could need w great location centrally located and 5 minute drive to the gocery store. LOVED IT

Would Stay Here Again

Great location. Heated pool was a nice touch. Management changed smoke alarm battery in a timely manner when it went off. Very dog friendly. Balcony provided ocean view. Even though the trim work in condo needs repainted it was a nice place. Would stay here again.

Great Location and Beautiful Beach!

I want to thank Becki and her team for a great vacation experience. The condo was lovely, the location was amazing and we had a wonderful time. Great option for families. I am looking forward to a return visit.

Destin family vacation

Wonderful unit and beautiful ocean view! Our family of 4 was able to bring our dog on this vacation, and a good time was had by all.

Great place and location

This was a great place for my sister and I to get away for a few days and just steps from the beach. The interaction with property manager before the stay was a disappointing. She was condescending when speaking to me on the phone, amd then she overlooked my email communication when I inquired about travel insurance and final payment. Overall I loved the place/location and would recommend it as long as you don’t mind the inconvenience of the property management communication style.

Exactly as described

We stayed in 3208 for 14 nights with our dog and loved it! The view from the balcony is great, the distance to the stairs/elevator is great, and the furnishings in the unit are very nice. The furniture in the master bedroom is solid wood, not the cheap stuff. Both sofas were very comfortable (we put beach towels over them as instructed because of our dog) and there was a nice sized table to eat at, or play games at. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes, tons of glasses, and other kitchen gadgets we didn't use. The TV remote was a little tricky, but aren't they all? It was really a bonus to have a washing machine & dryer in the unit since we stayed for two weeks. We had a great vacation staying in this unit, it was exactly as described and the pictures are real. Also, plenty of parking so there was always a close space available when we returned from our visits to nearby beach towns (loved Seaside). The included beach chair and umbrella service at the beach is awesome! If you stay here, you will be happy.

Enjoyed our stay

My husband and I were looking for a getaway amongst the craziness of the pandemic. Having our “own” condo where everything was pretty much provided that we needed for cooking was a huge help. We also were able to bring our dog with us too. The beach was beautiful-we just ended up getting a lot of rain. The good thing about this property in that case was the balcony has a beautiful view of the ocean and we could at least sit outside and enjoy the view. Overall the property was clean and the property manager was very helpful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views and centric

The condo was well situated with beautiful views of the Gulf and walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and beach gear shops. We loved the decor, the kitchen was well stocked with all the basic needs to make homemade meals, and surprisingly there was an entire closet with extra beach chairs, balls, water toys and even a full size cooler. It was just amazing! Ms Becki was super responsive and helpful. When we arrived at the place, we noticed several minor things and brought them to her attention and she took care of them in less than 24hrs. Overall experience was great and we are already planning to go back! The only thing I would improve or suggest is to refresh the painting around the condo including in some of the furniture pieces which can be quickly done in a few hours but this was not a deal breaker for us.

Week in Destin

Property was as described. Steps away from the beach which was great. The weather was a bit chilly the last few days and pretty windy all week but beautiful otherwise. The unit had a nice supply of everything you could need. We cooked several nights and enjoyed eating in. The only thing was that one of the bathrooms wasn’t cleaned very well when we checked in. We had to wipe down the sink and toilet.

Nice condo w view of water!

Very nice condo that is well decorated and furnished. Beds were comfortable. Finding the closet w extra beach toys, small cooler and toys was a nice surprise! Only reasoning didn't give it a 5 was due to Lint on on wall in kitchen from the dryer and large clumps of dust on bathroom hinges that cleaning crew should have seen but apparently didnt. I would stay here again.

Excellent Location!

This condo had a great view of the water. It is an end unit next to the oceanfront building and we had a beautiful view! Oceanfront pool was steps away also! Ocean, with set up service for two beach chairs and umbrella (included), was across the street. The location was away from busy business areas, but was walkable to two popular restaurants on the ocean. You could bike to coffee/ice cream/beach shops also. This area has a great oceanfront walking/biking path where you can walk and bike for miles. We rented bikes from a local company (Coastal Cruisers) where they delivered bikes to us. Great to work with! We also enjoyed playing pickleball on one of the two tennis courts. We brought our own pickleball racquets, but there were tennis rackets in the unit as well as a basketball, sand toys, extra beach chairs and board games. The kitchen had been updated and was clean and well equipped. I could not give the unit a high mark for cleanliness as old floor tile in kitchen and bathrooms where very dirty (old dirty grout) and baseboards/doors/bathroom cabinets were in dire need of cleaning and repainting. The living area and bedrooms had updated tile floors. Guest bedroom white comforter had noticeable stain on it... slow tub drain in guest bathroom also, standing water covering feet as you showered. ( I left housekeeping a note about these issues. I didn't contact management about those issues.) I did contact management initially and they were great to work with and replaced dirty bath mats quickly for us as we noticed after checking in. We brought our own blankets to place on the couches because of the unit being dog friendly. The couches needed deep cleaning or replacement (arm rests, some highly used cushion areas). We appreciated a pet friendly location. But many renters were not as considerate in cleaning up after their pets. You had to really watch where you walked! Great location though as this was our first stay in the Destin/Miramar beach area. We would definitely stay in this section of ocean again. Beautiful white sand beaches too!!

Needs some TLC and very thin walls

This condo was a nice location. Decorated very cute. Kitchen had everything needed. Maybe against fire codes, but crockpot would have been handy- just a suggestion. New sliding door needed to be replaced but worked. Suggestion to put a sticker on sliders to watch your step. There is a metal lip you can hurt your foot on. The condo could have had surface cleaner available. We brought our own tho. Board games and beach chairs and service on the beach were nice. Other than the neighbors bowling and running the sweeper upstairs the condo was great. A tad over priced.

Would have loved to give a 5 star rating but there are a few things with the unit itself that need to be addressed Needs some minor improvements, ie touchup paint, deep cleaning, sink in the master bath very slow to drain and neither of the sliding glass doors lock Great location, sand toys, chairs, etc available in the unit.

Great Place!

We were very happy with the location, and the access to the pool and beach. Walkability to great restaraunts a huge plus! We would stay again for sure and would recommend this property to friends and family!

Great Walkable Pet Friendly Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maravilla condo. The best part was we were able to bring our dog for her first ever beach trip. The condo is located across the street from the beach (and the unit has a gulf view from 2 of the rooms). Several restaurants are within walking distance from the condo. We would definitely keep this property on our list for future trips to the area.
