Our host was very helpful, helping with our luggage and even leaving a plate of cookies for our arrival. The home was very comfortable with a fabulous view. He promptly answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip.

Great Holiday

We had a super 12 night holiday at Apartment Veramenta. We stayed in apartment 3 on the first floor: really spacious, well equipped and very clean. The pool area was great and our children (12 and 10) loved playing in the pool. The apartments are 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket and restaurant. A 10 minute walk downhill takes you into Cavtat which is a beautiful town with lots of lovely walks, great restaurants and we found lots of spots to swim in the sea. The coastline is beautiful with the clearest sea we’ve ever seen which was great for snorkelling. In the harbour there are plenty of boats that take you to Dubrovnik as well as plenty of opportunities to admire the super yachts that stop too. The walk back up the hill took us 15 minutes but there is the bus or an Uber which was very cheap to use. All in all a fabulous holiday. Vlaho is a lovely guy, was always available to answer our questions and the apartments are maintained to a very high standard.

Fantastic large apartment with pool - spotless!

We’re just back from our stay at Apartments Veramenta, Cavtat, Croatia and had a wonderful time. We are a family of 5 with teenagers and the apartment exceeded our expectations in that it was exceptionally clean, had spacious bedrooms and large bathrooms. The air conditioning was great but we didn’t need it much as the well fitting louvred shutters meant that we could leave the double doors open in all the rooms and a nice breeze circulated. The apartment block is well constructed and finished to a high standard. The well kept pool is a welcomed bonus and there’s plenty of seating and loungers and beach/pool towels are provided. Vlaho the owner lives in the upper floor apartment so it’s well managed and he was very helpful, kind and hospitable to us during our stay. The apartments are 10-15 minutes walk from the town of Cavtat and we found the walk very pleasant. There are steep steps but we took these as daily exercise. Alternatively the bus leaves town every half hour and the stop is outside the apartment. The same bus goes on to Dubrovnik so it’s handy for a day trip. We didn’t hire a car as the buses are reliable and the boats to the islands leave from Cavtat. The airport is about 10 minutes by car and Vlaho organised a Mercedes mini van to pick us up at less than the cost of public transport! There’s a small supermarket that seems to sell almost everything and the staff, like everyone else we met in Cavtat, were lovely, very helpful and genuinely friendly. We would highly recommend the Apartments Verementa and it’s convenient location.

Great apartment

The apartment was spotlessly clean, nice and big with very comfy beds. The owners were really helpful and kind. The children loved the pool. The only downside is that it is a bit of a way out of Cavtat and quite a steep walk home, we got used to this and began to enjoy our stroll home - not great if you have small children though!
