Central Nice

Apartment was comfortable, well equipped and quiet despite being located in the center of Nice. Easy access to shopping, sites and the promenade. Nice outdoor space to enjoy morning coffee and evening wine.

Great Location

Easy walk to all the sights, beach, old town and others. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of room for my wife and I. Large grocery store about one block away and bakeries and patisseries all around.

Perfect stay at Notre Dame

The apartment is in a great location with a lovely view over the cathedral and main street, close to shops, cafes, train station and tram. Inside it was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. We also used the airport pick up service which dropped us at the apartment door which was very convenient especially with our luggage. Would happily stay again.

Light filled, convenient location in Nice

We enjoyed the location on the top floor of the building overlooking the cathedral. Handy tram stops to take you around Nice. Plus the train station is walking distance (Nice Ville). The apartment is as shown in the photos and well furnished. We found it a comfortable spot to come back to at the end of the day.

Lovely apartment well equipped. However if you are a light sleeper the cathedral bells will wake you at 8a.m. each morning. Heating could have better. Instructions for TV, microwave and heating could be better.

The location is perfect, perched on the 6th floor overlooking Notre Dame church and the bustling life of Nice. In either direction is a convenient tram stop for exploring the city. Grocery shopping (if you like cooking vs going out) is a breeze with a large supermarket nearby and two outdoor fresh markets just a little further afield. Each has the freshest of ingredients. You can’t get better stocked utensil-wise with available pots, pans, casseroles and implements. Clean and tidy finish out the overall description. A definite repeat accommodation! A couple of coffee pods to get one started, more than one kitchen towel (or a roll of paper towels), a few spices, better instructions on how to use the central heating system. This apartment offered a new washer and dryer, but instructions were for an older model. A technician was called and he arrived promptly - only to find the reason the washer didn’t work is that the water source was turned off. This should be clearly stated at the beginning of instructions.

The best location ever

*Nice and bright corner apartment on the top floor. *Great views up and down Jean Médecin *Next door to Notre Dame cathedral *Tram is only 2 minutes away, *Tram to Airport is only 5 minutes away *Old town is only 12 minutes away *Large Monoprix grocery store is 2 minutes away *Promenade des Anglais is only 10 minutes away *Location is actually quite quiet at night. *Everything in the apartment worked well *We were happy to have the Dolce Gusto coffee machine *spacious kitchen *wonderful large bathroom with lots and lots of storage space. *Pâtisseries and shops pretty much at your doorstep. This is our first time using the services of Nestor-Jeeves. They were more than excellent. We had a small issue where I could not get into the garbage room in the evening as the door seemed locked. My wife sent an email to N-J and within 5 minutes there was a knock at our door and a N-J representative showed up and took me down to the garbage room and pushed the door open. I had been pulling on the door. Check in was a breeze. We booked their airport pick up service. We have booked another apartment with Nestor-Jeeves for next year. A larger apartment as we have family coming for a visit. We love Nice It would be nice to have proper bedding that would fit the bed

une belle vue sur la rue jean médecin, relativement centrale et proche des commerçants, balcon ensoleillé nous avons passé un très bon séjour et à nouveau apprécié la mise à disposition des clefs et des explications de l'appartement en hiver préchauffer l'appartement avant l'arrivée des locataires serait un plus les petits moins : pas de double vitrage pour atténuer le bruit extérieur. Les volets ne sont pas fonctionnels. Le lit double mesure 140cm et peu sembler petit pour l'époque.

Excellent séjour au Notre Dame

C’est la première fois que ma femme et moi passons plusieurs semaines à l’extérieur de notre maison et l’expérience a été extraordinaire. Déjà le goût de la décoration et le confort sont prime! Le balcon qui fait complètement l’angle est parfait ! Je recommande vivement en plus de la réactivité et le service de toute l’équipe N & J, Bravo !!! Malheureusement il y a une véritable axe d’amélioration au niveau des parties communes, la porte d’entrée de l’immeuble était bloquée et fonctionnât mal presque tout le temps. Le pire a été les odeurs provenant du local vidé ordures car les bacs étaient remplis tout les jours et personne venait les vider, j’ai vu même des rats une fois…heureusement l’appartement Notre Dame se trouve au 6eme étage mais le passage par le RDC était inévitable.

This apartment is the best. Close to the old city, right on the tram line which connects to the line to the airport, great restaurants in walking distance, a short walk to the beach and the view from the balcony is just amazing. I did have a problem with building maintenance; they were lax in the cleaning of the lobby but once I got into the apartment I forgot about the other issues. I would definitely recommend this apartment. One suggestion, let the tenant leave the keys in the apartment when checking out. Walking them back to the concierge office was a bit inconvenient.

Very Nice, would stay again!

This was an amazing property with a spectacular view on the Main Street in Nice. This place has huge potential and checked all the boxes for us with the large wraparound balcony, great location, penthouse, air conditioning (key), full kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, reasonable rate, elevator/lift, etc.. Loved having a cool apt at the end of the day and sitting out on the balcony at night. Only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is the overly complicated door lock (which was not that intuitive and for which there are virtually no instructions on how to open) and the unavailability of the property manager after 1pm. Beware also that the bed is a couch pull-out bed (reasonably comfortable but still a pullout with a thinner type Mattress), and the lift is an older cage type that requires the last user to close the door or it will not move. We learned this the hard way when we first arrived and it would not work, so we lugged our bags up several floors before my wife went up, found the problem, and closed the door. The property manager had no clue about this little quirk, but they did call the elevator Union, who sent a guy out several hours later. We called to tell them we figured it out, but alas, it was after 1pm and they had already left for the day. Overall a very positive experience! For the owners I highly suggest more detailed instructions on unlocking the doors and what to do if the lift is not operating. There should also be some type of after hours support.
