Great and comfy stay

The place was clean, spacious. The owner was gracious and communicative. I would stay here again. Two things I wish I knew beforehand - 1) the “sidewalk” is just grass and 2) the house is elevated on a slight slope and there is no railings on the stairs (two sets of two-three steps) leading to the stairs/porch of the house.

A lovely intimate house

I had the best week here in Durham. The house was a quick walk to DPAC, and had everything I could need. The host was very responsive and easy to reach. Definitely recommend!

The Perfect Getaway

Downtown Durham Craftsman

The location was perfect for walking to all downtown areas including the tobacco trail and American Tobacco campus! The home was very clean and kitchen easy to use. Bedding was nice and bed was very firm and low to the floor. We would stay here again when visiting our daughter.

A sweet spot to land in Durham

I had such a nice stay in this convienently located spot in Durham. The place was super clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was comfy. It was an overall pleasant stay. I would definitely book this place again when in the Durham area. It is also close to some great places to eat. The hosts were very helpful, responsive, and informative.

Cozy Stay

Great cottage feeling, within a 10 min walk to downtown Durham. Very comfy couch, which in addition to the chilly weather during my stay made it a little hard to get out into the cold. But Durham was well worth it, and returning to something cozy was the cherry on top.

First Time Stay - Durham

Our stay was amazing! The property location was great as we were able to walk to all parts of Durham easily. The parking in the back is tight but not bad if all 3 properties are not being rented. The only small issue we had was how easily we heard the voices and noises from the adjacent property. Would stay here again however!

Cozy updated Duplex unit in Craftsman home. Street parking available in front of building. Enjoyed viewing the holiday decorations on the neighborhood homes during Christmas/Hanukkah week.

Durham stay

Great place to stay while visiting daughter/spouse and attending show at DPAC. We parked our car in the back private lot and walked everywhere - restaurants, DPAC, etc.! Dylan gave us great restaurant reviews. Lovely neighborhood and the house is exactly as in pics.

Duke Parents Weekend

Great property downtown Durham. Great location near Duke. Really nice to have a house so my daughter and her boyfriend could come hang with us while we were in town. Did not have the awkwardness of having only a hotel room or hotel bar to hang out and visit. Bonus: Saved a lot of money.

Clean, comfortable, coffee!

I’m a petite 62yo woman traveling alone. Felt safe and appreciated the ice cold water in the fridge and fixings for coffee on the counter. I enjoyed walking to Duke campus through warehouse district 3-4 miles walk. Would return here!

Home Away From Home

The property was a tastefully remodeled one bedroom duplex near downtown Durham. Clean and comfortable with parking on the street out front. I stayed here for 12 days due to work relocation. With a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, I had everything I needed for day to day living. I didn't want to leave when my time was up, but the space was rented already so I had to go. Highly recommend this property.
