This house is incredible !!! The photos look brilliant but in real life we were blown away. The area is breathtaking. Stunning views, hardly any light pollution so the sky at night is just beautiful ! Much bigger than we expected. BBQ and pizza area where a lovely chance to cook outside. Surrounded by mango trees, oranges, limes and pomegranate trees. Plenty of birds and the garden was so well kept. Thoughtful touches throughout .. the house is immaculate and spacious with traditional farmhouse furnishing throughout. Cupboards and drawers full of everything you could think of. Plenty of clean towels and fresh bedding. Sitting outside on the covered seating area full of cushions and pretty lights is something we are going to really miss. We loved every second and really appreciate all the lovely touches you’ve put into your gorgeous home. Thankyou so much for an unforgettable holiday

Wonderful, peaceful home!

This place was perfect and allowed us all to meet as a family and to relax and enjoy each other's company. Everything that we needed was provided, the house was cool peaceful and the pool was amazing. We used the outdoor areas including the pizza oven and the grill regularly. The family (six adults) loved it. It's about 20 minutes from the center of Almuenecar and the road is very steep and narrow in places. We had a 2 WD SUV and it was no problem. We stayed here for almost three weeks and were sorry to leave.

Wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved the house. Although its a bumpy ride up the hill, it’s beautifully located in the mountains surrounded with mango and orange trees. We enjoyed swimming and using the outdoor kitchen. We even made pizza in the pizza oven. We hope to be back some time!

Style over substance

Lovely house. Nothing worked. Owner never checked appliances worked before we arrived. We were made to pay for new appliances, beds held together with cable ties and a live chandelier which my husband got a shock off. Not suitable for very young or elderly as steep steps have no hand rails.

Maison superbe, tout y est accueillant et on s'y sent bien tout de suite ! La piscine est parfaite et a été très appréciée par toute la famille ! La cuisine d'été un vrai bonheur ! Juste le chemin d'accès un peu laborieux.

Super sejour

La maison est exceptionnelle, maison à l'écart des voisins, nous avons bien profité de la piscine, les enfants se sont éclatés. La route pour aller a la maison est très sinueuse dans les montagnes, je vous conseille d'avoir un 4x4. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir

Dejligt hus i bjergene

Stor feriebolig, med god plads til 7-8 personer. Dejlig udeområde, hvor der er god udsigt over bjergene og dalen. Der er dejligt roligt. Der er ca 20 minutters kørsel fra byen ud til boligen. Det er ikke muligt at gå. Udlejeren er hurtig til at svare og hjælpe med evt problemer.

Prachtig spaans landhuis in rustige omgeving

De woning en ligging is zelfs mooier dan op de foto's zichtbaar is. De communicatie met de host is voortreffelijk; we werden opgevangen in Almunecar en naar het huis begeleid. Er werd een taxi geregeld voor een uitstapje in de avond en we konden op onze uitcheckdag 3 uur langer blijven. De weg naar het huis is wel uitdagend met smalle weggetjes, maar het huis ligt prachtig in een heuvelachtige omgeving. Vooral de buiten BBQ en pizza oven zijn met dit klimaat een uitkomst. Overal zijn zitjes om zowel in de zon als in de schaduw te kunnen zitten. De keuken is basic uitgevoerd. Het zwembad heerlijk. Kortom een aanrader!

Schöne Lage in den Bergen, zwischen Mangos und Avocados

Das Haus bietet zwei Familien ausreichend Platz, ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat einen wunderbaren Außenbereich. An dem großen Fliesentisch konnte man toll frühstücken und den Abend ausklingen lassen. Der Pool hat eine angenehme Größe und wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Der Kontakt ist super nett und bei einem Problem wird sofort reagiert! Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, das lag nicht zuletzt an unseren drei supersüßen Mitbewohnern (Kätzchen) auf dem Grundstück! Der Weg zum Meer und in den Ort ist nicht weit. Wir können dieses Haus weiterempfehlen

Fantastic place

This is an absolutely amazing property. The house is in a very good conditions, and the service from the owners I would say is excellent. You are in a quiet Mountain area, and the house is beautiful. The furniture is in the high end - this house is a perfect place for a real Andalusian holiday experience. You are a short drive from Almuñecar. If you like hiking or mountain - then you also have these possibilities here.

Semana Santa formidable. Hemos estado en la casa dos familias. Es bastante confortable y espaciosa. CASA SOLO PARA VERANO

La casa es preciosa, muy bien cuidada y con detalle. Además siendo una casa que está en el campo se entrega muy limpia. Sin embargo, la casa no está acondicionada para el invierno (nos alojamos en diciembre). Hace mucho frio y los radiadores y calefactores, así como la chimenea, no son suficientes para caldear la casa. La instalación eléctrica saltaba continuamente si había varios radiadores encendidos. Además indicaría que son 20 minutos a la playa, 10 minutos por un camino serpentenate de doble sentido con anchura mínima. Una pena, porque la casa en verano, con las condiciones que tiene (piscina, barbacoas, terrazas, porches.. )debe ser espectacular y lejos del bullicio del pueblo

SUPERBE MAISON TOUT CONFORT

Superbe maison ! Confortable, propre et spacieuse. Environnement magnifique. Accueil très chaleureux. A savoir tout de même que la maison est perchée au milileu des collines et qu'il faut bien 15 mn en voiture pour y accéder par des toutes petites routes très sinueuses... Impressionnant les premières fois ! Ca nous a freiné pour nos sorties le soir. Mais le site est tellement magnifique et paisible que c'est un vrai petit paradis.

We loved our stay in this cottage, or better say in a luxury villa, very much. It is situated in an amazing place, surrounded by the mountains with beautiful view. The cottage is well designed and furnished as an old Mediterranean house. It is really big, with 4 bedrooms and a huge dining-room. The cottage is very clean, with many flowers and trees in the garden. The pool is enough not only for bathing kids, but for the grown-ups to swim. The gardener keeps it clean. In the kitchen you will find everything you need for the cooking. In the court there is a good grill. Sometimes we were visited by a pretty nice little dog named Chipy and a cat. We highly appreciate the hospitality of the cottage masters, who met us to show the way and bought some food for our first day. Many thanks for our happy holidays!

Enjoyed our stay (2 adults, 3 small children) very much!

Perfect place if you seek a relaxing, quiet holiday spot for your family! Lots of outside space, less space inside, so you need nice weather to fully enjoy the facilities. Beds are not great but good enough, shower pressure is low. Also make sure the owner activated the (prepaid) WIFI connection as this was not the case during our visit and we couldn´t get it fixed. Since the remote location of the house is outside any mobile coverage you need to drive towards the city to make a phone call, check your email or send an SMS, which sometime is not very convenient. If it wasn´t for these three (minor) issues, I would have rated it 5 stars out of 5. A great place to stay!

A well appointed property in a peaceful location

We were looking for relaxed and peaceful location yet with easy reach of the coastal resort of Almuñecar and the house was in the perfect location for both. The property was well kept & well equipped with plenty of different seating & eating areas both inside & out and we were made to feel very welcome by Joana and her mother. The large pool terrace has the sun all day and the shady upper terrace was just perfect. We highly recommend the property and hope to return in the future. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay for longer!
