The condo served its purpose. We were able to have comfortable beds to sleep and kitchen supplies to keep us fed when needed. There were a few things broke but the text and maintenance response was fast as well as the resolved. Check in was easy even though the desk didn’t have our reservation. The receptionist created one based on the emails I had from Southern. The location was perfect for what we were wanting. Ocean side, close to restaurants and of course Florabama!!

No the cleaness

The unit was well below the standard we expected based on the listing and the price we paid. Upon arrival, we found the condo to be in unacceptable condition — it was very dirty, with trash left under the beds, in the bathrooms, and beneath the bedside table. In addition, several amenities were broken or not functioning properly, which further detracted from our stay.Cleanliness and basic upkeep should be a given, and it was frustrating to encounter such neglect, especially after booking through what we believed to be a reputable rental service.I’m hoping this message can be the start of a conversation around how this issue will be addressed. I’d appreciate it if someone could get back to me to discuss next steps

Pictures are deceiving

The condo needs a good overall update. The laundry room door was broken so you had to pick it up to open and close it. The walls and trim had scuffs everywhere. The whole place needs painted. The top of the 1st bedroom closet was full of used paint cans so the shelf could not even be used for your own storage. There was a half eaten cracker on the floor of the closet also. In the same bedroom the light fixture was just hanging by wires. The decor could definitely be updated, it looked like it was all from antique store/garage sale items. Maybe a man owns this and just does the bare minimum to get money out if it. I’m just used to clean, nicely decorated condos. This one really disappointed. No pizza pan so bring one if you need it. There was a broken glass in with the glasses too. Pretty much just mismatched thrown together dishware. The Phoenix X itself was very clean and great location beside Florabama. Pools and hot tubs were clean.

Great location and great stay. Perfect location right next to the FloraBama. Checkout time of 9am was too early but everything else was great!

Awesome location just steps away from Florabama!

Awesome location. The unit was very dirty and does not present well. The floors were filthy to walk on. The unit desperately needs maintenance. The doors walls baseboards are all very very dirty. Very dated unit even thought it is described as a updated unit. We loved the location. The pool was nice.

Summer vacation

The unit was very clean. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but nothing ever compares to your own bed so that was a major let down. The walk to the beach was closer than expected and the view of the beach was perfect. There was a picture of a splash pad but we never did find it on property. The freezer was leaking when we got there but they sent someone over within a few hours to check it out. Once the problem was found the manager took quick care of it. Everyone we met was super nice.

Easy breezy

I brought 4 teens down for spring break last minute and everything about our vacation was easy breezy smooth sailing…. I could not ask for a better experience. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful condo..

Cute place, but not enough hot water for a family of 5. Also you couldn’t put the AC below 69° Which was super annoying.

LA Beach Family

Location was great. Condo was a little battered. Closet door was broken. One dish towel-we ended up buying more. Great supply of dishes and pans. All of this could be overlooked. The worst was the work being done to the walkway outside our door. This started on Monday and lasted until quitting time. The noise was loud. So loud that you had to get as far away from the front as you could to hear anything. I think we should have been warned in advance so we could have made another choice on condos. Concrete grinders can ruin your stay!

Mostly Good

Overall good. Nice unit. The floor is in need of a good mopping and there's some mold at the top of the refrigerator door seals. The night burned out in the master bath shower room. We called it in but it wasn't replaced before we left.

Great location!

The condo is as pictured and the balcony view is amazing! Positives: *The location is amazing! It is literally next door to FloraBama. It is family friendly until 5:30 then its only a bar. Even though it was right next door, the noise was not loud and I couldn't hear it inside the condo. *The view from the balcony view was amazing. I went out there first thing in the morning and sat there until bedtime. I love listening to the ocean. *The condo is fully stocked! It had everything you could need for the stay - including a wine opener! :) *The beds were very comfortable. *The master bathroom and shower were updated and very nice! Loved the shower. *The beach was sandy white and so pretty. Plenty of sea shells to find. *Our son got stung by a jelly fish on our last day. The staff and even another guest were extremely helpful. They were very knowledgeable and got him feeling better quickly. Very much appreciated that. *Everyone (at the condo and out in the town) were very nice! I couldn't get over just how nice everyone was. That southern hospitality is real! Negatives: *FLOORS ARE GROSS! I would sweep, but the floors continually turned our feet and socks black. *Elevators closest to the parking garage were broken. *One of my biggest complaints is that the outdoor pool was under construction. I can understand construction, but my problem is I specifically called the management company who assured me the pool was open. I asked in the online portal again if the pool was open and was told, again, it was open. I knew they were not telling the truth as a friend was staying at Phoenix IX two weeks prior and saw it under construction. I appreciate the indoor pool being open, but I am angry about being lied to. *The noise level from above was awful. Multiple nights in a row, we were unable to get to sleep due to the noise in the condo directly above us. It sounded like they were moving furniture or constantly walking around. This would be happening until well after midnight. Very frustrating. *The pillows are not great. Even with all those negatives, our family had a great time! We will definitely visit Orange Beach again!

Vacation 2021

The view was phenomenal as well as the location. Would have been better if the extra bedroom had the full size bed that was listed. It had 2 twin beds instead. Overall, I was please with my stay.

Long Weekend Stay

Had a much needed relaxing long weekend at the beach. Unit was in a great location with easy access to the beach! Only complaint would be that the unit did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. There were crumbs on the kitchen counter and floor. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would plan a returning trip.
