A beautiful studio apartment tucked away yet within easy walking distance to all that Suttons Bay has to offer. The location is perfect — close to the wineries and just a quick drive to visit charming Fishtown. It was exactly what we needed for some R&R.We would have given 5 stars, but unfortunately, there was a dog in the owners unit that barked nonstop as we tried to relax. It made for a disappointing time spent at the apartment, even though everything else was wonderful.

Very comfortable private little studio. Exceptionally clean. Quiet. Lovely sunflower decor. Nice big windows surrounded by trees. Wish we were there for a longer stay. Will definitely return!

It's a perfect location! We were able to walk to everything around Sutton's Bay. It's a beautifully appointed little cottage(spotless!) off of the alley so it's very quiet and peaceful yet only 2 blocks from everything! Especially our favorite ice cream shop! Would definitely stay here again or suggest it to others!

This property was perfect for our visit to the area for a family reunion. It was comfortable, clean, and we slept well. We enjoyed walking around town each evening, including catching a movie at the Bay Theater and dinner at the Village Inn. The location is perfect for a Suttons Bay visit.

Tastefully appointed studio. The location was so convenient to downtown Suttons Bay. We really enjoyed the patio watching the hummingbirds in the tiger lillies. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location to catch the Tart trail, walk into town and explore the area! Very clean and cozy. Nice patio to enjoy all the green neighborhood.

Outstanding!!

The place is absolutely adorable! CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! Stocked with all of your kitchen needs plus more. Location was spot on. Could walk right into town or the marina. Very quiet and peaceful. Already looking forward to coming back again.

Nice studio apartment very close to downtown Suttons Bay

We loved the proximity of the apartment to all the restaurants and shops. Also very easy drive to Leland and all of the area wineries. Nice secluded area off the alley behind the st Mary’s street. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect in every way!

Everything about the property was exactly what we hoped for for our weekend in Suttons Bay. Located in a quiet neighborhood, just 2 blocks from the beach and downtown shopping. The studio is just the right size for a single or couple. The queen bed was wonderfully comfortable, dressed with nice linens. The kitchen appointed with everything we needed to have breakfast or dinner at the cafe table in the corner. Plenty of hot water in the nicely remodeled bath, and fluffy cotton towels. Parking is right outside the door. Room for 2 small cars, and still large enough for our full sized van. We would have loved to take advantage of the inviting outdoor seating area surrounded by flowers, but it was just too hot out. So pretty to look at though! I want to take a moment to address a previous review that said there was mold. There is NO MOLD. For the 25% of the population that carries the HLA-DR gene variance (like me), this is critical info! I brought my portable ozone machine with me (just in case), but did not need it. The room was clean and fresh, with not even a hint of mold. (and trust me when I tell you, as a mold survivor, I have a nose like an ant eater. ;-) ) So, book with confidence, knowing you will find only a clean, fresh studio awaiting your arrival! All in all, it was a delightful stay! We are already looking forward to returning next year. :-)

Holly and Jerome Smith are both northern Michigan natives, but they spent their formative years in New York, running some of the region's best restaurants and vinting wine. After finally making the move back to beautiful Northern MI, Holly now basically retired still does a couple days at the area’s top wine and gourmet shop in Lake Leelanau (Peninsula Provisions) and Jerome is even known to lend a hand here and there at one of the best restaurants in Northern MI which is managed by their son Sebastian (the Riverside Inn in Leelanau). It is safe to say hospitality is in their blood. It should be no surprise then that custom concierge, catering and event services are available - just inquire if interested. Need help with tastings, tours, wine and shopping, local sourcing and foraging or just the skinny on the best restaurants and the local scene? They can help there too.

Both Holly and Jerome managed vacation rental properties in Leelanau county for other resort companies and after learning the lay of the land and meeting so many wonderful people, they knew that the adorable recently added little studio attached to their own home (which is now their latest personal project) would be perfect for visitors. This 100+ year old Victorian was purchased by my aunt as a pied-a-terre for her to come visit us and escape the summer heat in Washington D.C. where she had some mysterious position with the CIA. It has a great location in the heart of Suttons Bay with easy access to all the amenities the village has to offer visitors. Jerome's great-great grandfather was an original Suttons Bay settler, and their love for the area runs deep.
