Our whole experience from start to finish was absolutely amazing. The cabins are immaculately cleaned, new appearance and finishing touches. We loved the welcoming features of the cabin they were amazing. We would love to stay there again. We had so much fun thank you for the great experience.

This was such a beautiful cabin! It is so well taken care of, you’d never know you were in the woods. All of the amenities and even the little local goodies they provided was such a sweet touch. It is a beautiful property to explore and we cannot wait to come back in the future :)

Everything about this cabin was excellent. It was super clean, very well equipped, quiet, secluded and a great location. The king size bed was very comfortable. This was our first VRBO stay and it was great. We would love to come back in the winter. The owners were fantastic and so helpful.

Very clean, cozy, and private! Close to the TART and Leelenah Bike Trails! Great place to ride! We did a self guided winery and brewery tour, this place was perfectly located for that! Roads and drivers are very bike friendly! We had an amazing time for our 35th wedding anniversary! Beth even left us an anniversary gift and card! The extra touches in this VRBO and the ambiance were top notch! Highly recommend!

This is my second time renting a cabin at The Woods of Leelanau. The first time around, my husband and I stayed at The Americana, then, just last week, we were at The Cozy Cabin. Both cabins were exceptional, and we loved our experience. We enjoyed having quiet, slow, mornings with a pot of coffee and fresh eggs on a gorgeous porch surrounded by wildlife. There are nice hiking trails on the property, one of which goes up to an overlook with a view.

"Cozy" is the perfect description for this cute cottage in the woods. It feels isolated, but is located a short drive from Traverse City. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were even two bottles of wine, some local treats, and fresh eggs!

The cozy cabin is exactly that! A comfortable open concept cabin that is well appointed, quiet and super comfy. If you want to be close to all Traverse city has but not feel like you’re in the city this is your place. We used the bikes to go back and forth and that was so much fun. Bring a helmet though.

Terry and Beth have been married for over 20 years. Terry was born and raised right here in Leelanau County in the property adjacent to the cabin entrance. Beth grew up in Charlevoix, MI and was raised on a dairy farm. They met in Traverse City and decided to make their permanent home right in the beautiful Leelanau Country close to where Terry grew up. They both have a love of nature and the outdoors.

Terry purchased the property over 30 years ago and fell in love with the woods. After many years of enjoyment of the property he owns, he decided it was time to share the beauty of the property and build this small cabin.
