Cleanliness

This is a very nice condo but the owners need to fire the cleaning crew. Molded shower curtains, front of oven door filthy, cabinets and baseboards in bathrooms brown with dust. The main living area was clean. Broken dryer plug in one bathroom. Otherwise, I’d stay there again. Great outdoor furniture.

Family Get Together

We love staying at Tide Water. Have stayed there a few times for our yearly family get together. The Condo was great. Only problem I saw was there need to be a little year end Maintenance need to be done. Some of the lights were Flickering. And the floors were nasty. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Weather was terrible

Every thing was fine , there was a water leak in the front bedroom! Seemed to be coming from the washer! Weather was so bad that week! The apartment was very roomy and comfortable!

Beautiful place to stay!

This condo was a lot bigger than I expected and the balcony was HUGE! We had the perfect view of the Ferris wheel and the pier on our balcony! I love that there are two huge pools. I will definitely be booking again.

Wouldn’t recommend staying at this condominium

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wouldn’t recommend staying at Tidewater due to the extremely long waits for the elevators, it is awful. Also if you bring chairs and umbrellas they have to be placed in wet sand or a lady will take your picture and have a Tidewater employee come tell you to move them. The unit we stayed in was nice also the complex is nice just wouldn’t recommend due to the elevators wait time and being told where to put your umbrella.

Property was Ok at best, floors were not clean, reported many items broken or not working the first day and they came to somewhat repair them on our last day there, furniture outdated with many stains, beds were good. Still had a good time but will not stay in this room again. Not the room’s fault but will not stay at Tidewater anymore, second time staying here but the elevators are a complete nightmare. 30 minute wait between elevators if your lucky. Actually my family was stuck in elevator 7 for 30 minutes before management got them out!

Worst Experience Ever

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented this condo for my family vacation last week. The elevator waits were anywhere from 32 minutes to 1 hour 12 minutes. When asking the front desk they assured us it would get better once everyone checked in. We stayed 2 nights and things only got worse. As the week went on people got very hostile from there wait time at the elevators. Front desk acted like we all were unreasonable for complaining. I decided to move my family to a different condo in order for our vacation to not be ruined. I would not recommend this condo to anyone.

READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING

I highly recommend reading all reviews for this unit before booking.. The entire unit needs some serious maintenance. The biggest issue that we had was the floors being completely disgusting. So bad that we had to wash our feet before bed. I honestly dont think they have EVER been mopped. I had my 7 month old with us and I didn't ever put her down on the floor - but, the couches didn't look much better. I recommend bringing extra laundry detergent because the more you find in the place, the dirtier everything feels. Overall our stay was amazing and the views were phenomenal. There was the air show during our stay and it was great viewing from the balcony. The company told me we could check in a couple hours early as long as I gave a 5 star review for customer service. We asked to stay an extra day and they asked if we would consider leaving a 5 star review and if I did, they wouldn't charge the credit card fee. The cleaning lady showed up on our original check out date and said she was never told we extended the stay. Also, I sent a long email with all concerns and NEVER heard from anyone.

Tide Waters

Tide Waters was very nice, with all the amenities. However, the actual condo we stayed in was not very clean, and needs lots of maintenance.

Good location, large condo

We were given three different door codes, the last one given didn't work so we had to look back at older emails and found a code that worked, this was at 11 pm. The garage gate code that we were given also didn't work, thank goodness some guy came in behind us and used his wristband to let us in. The furniture pics on the VRBO app aren't the same, different furniture and flooring. The ceiling light in the bedroom on the other side of the kitchen wall went on and off at its own leisure. Other than these few issues, we really enjoyed our stay and the condo!

Horrendous, dirty and unkept

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was a complete dump and would never stay there again. Filled with dust, barely fixed holes in the wall, disgusting furniture, broken chairs/countertops (yes the granite is broken), cabinet doors and drawers and bedroom doors. Dust everywhere - even on the fridge vent it was caked on there. Missing kickplates on the kitchen cabinets. Doors were hanging off the hinges, screws only half put in on the doors. Decorations were filled with dust like they sat in a closet for years. The furniture in the pictures isn't even the furniture in the condo. Everything about this place was a lie. The view was good but that's the only thing.

Tidewater Condo Great View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Tidewater in this large end unit condo that has a great view from the wrap around balcony. It is very large with plenty of room for our large family. The condo was very clean and well maintained there were no issues during our stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and the large pool that was easy to access from the elevator just a few steps from our front door. The resort has a huge beach area. This is the second time we have booked this condo working wit the same ECDI property manager. We will be back and stay here again next year.

First vrbo

Not as personal as renting from an individual but it was good. AC restricted to 73 as low as you can set it. Would have been nice to have it a little cooler. Housekeeping wasn't all that. We cleaned the place up when we got there and left it much better than when we got there. But it was vacation at the beach and overall not bad. Have stayed in much better at the tidewater and much worse too. My elderly mom and dad had a great time away and that's all that mattered. I'd give it a 6 to 7 out of 10 and I'd rent it again.

Spring Break with family

We love the location! The size of the condo was wonderful. Very disappointed with the condo. It was dirty, the back bathroom shower was awful. The dishwasher was broken. The elevator situation was terrible. Several broke down during the week. We really like Tidewater but if they don’t update the grounds we are going to stay somewhere else. I hate to be negative because we did have a great time!
