My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! Great view and nice location near everything on Beech mountain! The fireplace is a nice touch and the bed was very comfortable! We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Wake up in the clouds

Towels were dingy sliding glass doors were off track. Needs new bed and two sliding glass doors. Bathroom door did not open fully Check in was a breeze and owner was prompt. Location is very close to all restaurants Easy in and out of property.

Overall it was good. Note though during this latest heat wave it can be warm during the day. The owner a provided extra fan which helped. She is very accessible.

Clean, was very cold on arrival but heated up quick. The trip to take the trash is scary. Not good for 60 plus unless you are very fit. 12 stairs and you can't park near them as spots taken. The steep terrain and hair pin turns meant you had to be home by dusk. There was no dinner out. I cooked which wasn't easy. Not too many pots. No matching covers. Don't know why open and closed paint cans under sink but they shouldn't have been there. Not exactly close to anything major. All at least 1 hr away. No joke, the driving was down right scary. No tv directions.

In the clouds

Nice cozy little place. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Right next to Ski Beech for those skiing or snow boarding. We had a great stay and enjoyed the place.

Not really a one bedroom, it's a spacious studio.

Very clean and comfortable. Very dated. A lot of things need maintenance, bathroom door won't fully open, front screen door looks like it is about to come off, door to cover washer and dryer broken, balcony furniture is awful, beds are very soft, but we slept well.Once we got used to these and could ignore them it was ok, we just found them annoying at first. We stayed 4 nights. Even with little things we enjoyed our trip. I have to mention again it was very clean and comfortable.

I have always wanted a little place in the mountains where I could go to take in the beautiful scenery, breath in the mountain air, and be amongst the beauty of nature and all it has to offer. I found my little place here. I have visited it a handful of times before I got the opportunity to purchase it. Since I can only be there a few times a year, I wanted to share it with others and give them the opportunity to enjoy this special place that I have grown to love! It is such a wonderful place to go to retreat away from the business of everyday life. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

At 4,800 feet elevation breathtaking mountain views. Abundant wildlife in a serene rustic environment surrounded by trees. A brisk walk to Ski Beech slopes and restaurants. Minutes from the downtown area where you will find authentic restaurants, golf, tubing, fishing spots, falls, deer, and best of all serenity! Ten minutes away from the picturesque town of Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain. Half an hour drive to Boone, home of the ASU Mountaineers. Thirty five minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway considered one of the most scenic Highways of the United States. Awesome autumn foliage. Summer temperatures will never exceed 80 degrees in this top floor, well ventilated corner unit. Summer activities include: River rafting, bicycling, fishing, zip line and numerous hiking trails. During the Winter, skiing, tubbing, and ice skating. The perfect place to rest, meditate and enjoy. The perfect place to exercise, walk , bike, run, ski, sled. The best of both worlds! Don't miss your chance to stay at this mountain sanctuary!
