Very nice and comfortable. Great view from the balcony, everything as described. Close to beech mountain, about 1 minute drive or like a 5 minute walk. I will definitely try and stay here again next time I am in the town.

This was a great place to stay for a limited-budget ski trip on Beech Mountain. The location is fantastic - a 2 minute drive to the ski resort. The owner was extremely responsive. Heater kept us toasty warm. The unit is older, a bit outdated, but it has a kitchen, washer/dryer, and hot water so it was worth the price. The bed was comfortable and clean.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! Great view and nice location near everything on Beech mountain! The fireplace is a nice touch and the bed was very comfortable! We will definitely stay here again in the future.

In the clouds

Nice cozy little place. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Right next to Ski Beech for those skiing or snow boarding. We had a great stay and enjoyed the place.

Wake up in the clouds

Towels were dingy sliding glass doors were off track. Needs new bed and two sliding glass doors. Bathroom door did not open fully Check in was a breeze and owner was prompt. Location is very close to all restaurants Easy in and out of property.

Overall it was good. Note though during this latest heat wave it can be warm during the day. The owner a provided extra fan which helped. She is very accessible.

I have always wanted a little place in the mountains where I could go to take in the beautiful scenery, breath in the mountain air, and be amongst the beauty of nature and all it has to offer. I found my little place here. I have visited it a handful of times before I got the opportunity to purchase it. Since I can only be there a few times a year, I wanted to share it with others and give them the opportunity to enjoy this special place that I have grown to love! It is such a wonderful place to go to retreat away from the business of everyday life. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

Minutes from the downtown area where you will find authentic restaurants, golf, tubing, fishing spots, falls, deer, and best of all serenity! Ten minutes away from the picturesque town of Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain. Half an hour drive to Boone, home of the ASU Mountaineers. Thirty five minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway considered one of the most scenic Highways of the United States. Awesome autumn foliage. Summer temperatures will never exceed 80 degrees in this top floor, well ventilated corner unit. Summer activities include: River rafting, bicycling, fishing, zip line and numerous hiking trails. During the Winter, skiing, tubbing, and ice skating. The perfect place to rest, meditate and enjoy. The perfect place to exercise, walk , bike, run, ski, sled. The best of both worlds! Don't miss your chance to stay at this mountain sanctuary!
